Love your simple, yet attractive method to wrap a raw rock that has no drilled holes. I always worry about the stone slipping, but your method quells my fears! Great idea and great job!! Thank you so very much!
I'm so happy it's helpful Patricia! All the best.
What a fast ring with beautiful results. Thank you for sharing your time and talent. 😷⚒

I love watching your shows, thanks for sharing your ideas with us. The owner of my local bead store just gave my granddaughter 60 pieces of agate and flower agate beads, I am donating that to the school, thanks to your ideas I am making beautiful loving jewelry.

Thanks so much Ana. that's awesome for the school donation. I used tot teach jewelry making at schools and loved it!

I'm so happy.
These are ideal because adjustable, sturdy with 16 gauge. Gifting some of my varieties (& not all are flat stones btw)
I love the adjustable rings too!
Excellent I love it.

Thanks Debs. Have fun with it.
And here I was trying to conceptualise a 3d printed tool for this. TYVM.
That sounds fun!
@@HeatherBoydWire More fun your way, Heather.
Thank you so much! I was thinking of doing these as wedding rings for my partner and I. I'm a bit nervous but I think this will look great!

Thank you 🥰💋
Thanks for watching Tish.
Wow
Thank you.
Maravilhoso😍
🙂
i love your videos! this one thought, my stone keeps popping out of the top or bottom…tips?
Thank you. If you curve the wire a bit it may help to hold the stone in place. You can use round pliers for this. They also sell nylon tipped round nose pliers if you are worried about scratching the wire. Hope this helps.
Lindo❤
Gracias.
Hi Heather. Do I need to size up the ring before i wrap it properly? does it lose much of its internal circumference while wrapping it
It shouldn't lose any internal circumference. Good luck.
@@HeatherBoydWire thank you!
Hi size of the bead ? Tnx in advance
Hi Saskia: The cabochons are about 3/4 inches.
Nice design. I was all set to follow your tutorial until I realized it would not hold up (and possibly not even hold the stone) on a long term basis. How do you harden the wire once you've 'set' the stone to keep the wires from bending? Those 'cut' wires on the back are begging to be scratchers/catchers. I had hoped for a design that was both beautiful and practical for actual wear. Please post a functional finished product.
Thank you. You can file the ends or use a wire reamer to round them off. I know people harden the wire with a mallet. The 16 g wire I used is quite stiff so holds up well. Good luck.
I made one of these a long time ago and it has held up VERY well!
Is this copper wire?
This is Artistic wire tarnish resistant gold color copper.
It didn’t work out for me
This is a tricky design. It's difficult to make rings with cabochons that do not have holes. Good luck.
