I'm still hoping they make more Jump comics besides Yu-Gi-Oh. Dragon Ball, One Piece, Naruto, Bleach there's a lot they could do. It's a side of comics they're seemingly ignoring. Edit: to be clear, I want ALL of Jump comics not just the big ones. Give me Black Cat, Bleach, Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo, Buso Renkin, Death Note, Dr. Slump, Dragon Ball, Fist of the North Star, Hunter x Hunter, Strawberry 100%, Jojo's, Reborn, Kinnikuman, KochiKame, Naruto, One Piece, Kenshin, Saint Seiya, (more) Yu-Gi-Oh (GX and 5Ds plus THE ACTUAL DUELISTS), Yu Yu Hakusho, Assassination Classroom, Medaka Box, Saiki, Toriko, To Love-ru, Sket Dance, My Hero Academia, City Hunter. They can literally do so much with the IP from equipped items like Spell Cards, Kakuganes, or summoning jitsus, colossal figures like Ozaru or Kurama, swappable figures for transformations like Super Saiyan or Bankai. Or, like the large brainiac ship HeroClix where you have to collect the cities but you can have Dragon Ball tokens on the field player can collect which if you get all seven allows you to bring a character back. There's a lotta potential just sitting on the table. Jump comics are definitely as big as Marvel or DC and has so much to offer.
Couldn't agree more! They could make a set for every anime, or just do several Shonen jump universe sets with a bunch or random characters from across all of them
@@HeroclixHeadquarters if they wanted to be simple, they could even start with sets based off of J-Stars and Jump Force. Then Jump Super Star and Ultimate Star. That gives them a pretty good starting point.
I think the issue with the next phase set was the fact that they leaned into the She Hulk series so hard. I know the show has a small fanbase, but I think most people thought the show was overall pretty bad. It would have been a lot better if Wizkids had figures from the movies mixed in with figures from the shows. I mean, it's kind of telling when Scott Porter isn't involved at all with the previews. Oh, and this is just an aside, but I wish Wizkids would go back to having guns on their figures. Peacemaker and Deadpool should have guns, and DeadSHOT looks absolutely ridiculous holding a knife in the last DC set. And don't get me started on the cop pointing menacingly lol
I wish they would bring back SportsClix. I think they should do a Soccer Clix game for the upcoming World Cup in the US. That could also get people in Europe/Rest of World into Clix.
That would be interesting, personally I would like to see more celebrities/actors/comic writers etc. become clix like Scott porter. We got some directors and Stan Lee a long time ago, new versions would he awesome!
Great video, I enjoyed the breakdown and commentary!! I have mixed feelings, I am excited to see D&D joining hero clix, iconix are fun but are becoming too much, 2024 starters were bad both marvel and DC (no changes to rules, so so dials and an incomplete maps I purchased them but most others at LGS refused and complained about them..), not excited at the return of Avatars (adding more elements to the game to drive sales is like micro transactions in video games I hate it), having another black panther set is uninspiring, hiring a person full time to improve events great and long over due, inviting customers to fill out questioners is wonderful as well; however, I get the feeling/sense of product over load to some extent. I hope that wizkids is not taking the Mtg approach to marketing/padding their stock, its one thing to be inventive and creative which I hope wizkids is pursuing but I can't help 'this bad feeling' that 10 to 20 new products will become 30 to 40 and so on... I got out Mtg because of ramping up production to obscene levels, secret lairs, special sets/masters sets, it became too much to keep up with. I like the branching out into new IP's; D&D is awesome and I like it but putting out more and more products is a worrisome.
So, gambit is random in terms of which effect you get, but you always have a 50 percent chance of hitting the ability you want each turn because of 2 Jokers
I hope it gets more popular in Europe again. UK and Spain scene seems solid but for the rest it looks not that good imo..😕 So i hope WizKids takes the chance does make some more promotion here too.
I have a friend that recently got me back into the game (my first set was the first DC set back in the day). I've been shopping around and looking for new minis, but I have a general question about the the lifespan of figures. Now, I'm not looking to do tournaments or anything, so I'm not worried about "legality", but is there a general date for the "eras" to be mindful of? For example, said friend gave me a Cyclops from way back (the og style dial with a H on the bottom). Clearly, any of those old ones aren't at all competitive. He also gave me some Star Trek ships that, while newer (as indicated by the dials), they are woefully underpowered. I'm primarily looking at Empyre and Future Foundation to do a Fantastic Four ability themed team, and a handful of other various X-Men and Star Trek TNG singles. I also came across a decently priced Ninja Turtles gravity feed box. Do I need to be particularly mindful and scrutinizing before investing?
Well, that depends. If you really don't think you'll ever get into playing in tournaments, even just locally, then I'd say just buy whatever you like. Otherwise, modern age is about the last two years' worth of sets. Sets rotate out after worlds in September each year. Most places play modern age so it's usually best to start with newer sets. Silver age is a newer format that includes everything that has dials on the cards, which would include the superior foes of Spider-man set up to now. There's also golden age that includes everything. So yeah, basically, I'd recommend getting the newest sets and whatever else you like and want to collect!

Knowing how big those fandoms are, they would be cookin with cash…
And my wallet is even more empty
The only downside lol
I can’t wait for the first appearance Avengers. The original Iron Man in his bulky armor is going to be so cool.
Yeah, that's gonna be a great one!
D&D heroclix finally!
Gyi@@HeroclixHeadquarters
One could only dream on Iconix really pushing for new IPs.
I NEED to know what the batcave is about
Me too!

Why did they remove them?

Yeah, I think that was a pretty great design
@@HeroclixHeadquarters we haven't seen the rest of the set yet, but idc. This is my number one want lol
What kind of containers are those under your Spider-Man Beyond Amazing mini game?
Just some tackle boxes from Wakmart I think

I hope so too!
At least the starter set 25 have more dinamic poses. Wonder if the map will be the same
I hope so, I also hope it's a full map, so it's usable in normal games

I wonder if Captain America from the Ice will include the Avengers or maybe Sub-Mariner.
I think it's just supposed to be a regular captain america, and one that's frozen in ice. But who knows, it would be cool if they had more characters!
But can we get new Halo Heroclix??!
That would be awesome!
Sets And stuff Look cool..lets, see how The Clixes Will Be.. And Maybe DD players might try heroclix too? Or newpies on Heroclix
And I just became financially stable... my wallet will be sad indeed
For all the times I've been asked if heroclix is like DnD I can now say yes...kind of.
