This is my 2R garbage truck miniature build from aluminum and steel. I admit it looks a lot like Dickau's project, but actually I started it before I heard of his. It is operated by a 12V battery and has a button control panel like the original truck. There is no ejector panel or wheels because I wanted a small compactor I can use on the dinner table or in bedroom :) The hydraulic force is 88 kg for each function (sweep/slide). The body is emptied by sliding the rear wall aside. In this video, it will eat cardboard, candles, a weird paper toy and plywood. Please write a comment if you have any questions.

Terriffic construction work there, I really admire the people who make these working models of rear loaders... all the detail and work that gets put into them. I absolutely love it, it goes slow, but doesn't stop it from being awesome!!!

Ok! So both the cylinders and the valves are custom? Normally leimbach valves operates at 10bar. Do you know how many bar yours operate at? I am well on the way of building a metal refuse truck of my own and It would be very nice to get some more power out of it!

What kind of hydraulics are you using? 88kg is way more than for example leimbach hydraulics can handle!

From the description, my guess would be it breaks it with 88 kilos of force, then rips the broken digit from your hand with a further 88 kilos of force. Hydraulics are NOT to be messed around with.
I have a small panel with button controls, it was made from a servo control for RC models. This operates the control valve inside the truck.

@MrMalzahn ich hab auch einen aber aus lego gebaut mit den ganze pneumatik zylindern undso da funktioneirt auch allles alleine halt nur pneumatisch . der drücker ist voll fuktionsfähig, die klapppe geht pneumatisch auf und ne pneumatische schubwannd ist auch drinne: auch allles eigenbau aber hat leider nicht so viel presskraft wie deiner hier aber sehr schönes modell

They are custom made by Leimbach. Additionally, I raised the operating pressure of the pump.
