Here's a short story I wrote for this song , Its called Breaking: "I love you mom! Goodnight!" The last words I remember saying before falling asleep. In the morning we had planned to go get breakfeast together at the new cafe, I was excited for that. I started having a nightmare of Scary monster's eating my imaginary Unicorn friend. I woke up , crying. I walk to my mom's room and slightly shake her. "Huh? Oh.. What wrong honey?" My mom would say in a tired voice. "I-I had a nightmare..". "Oh.. Well snuggle up.. Do you want me to tell you a story?". "Ooh! Ok! Thank you!". Id lay down in her bed. Id slowly fall asleep listening to a story about A young boy who got a pet dragon by eating a hotdog. I wake up , Excited to go to the cafe. My mom was in her pink robe making some tea for dad and herself. She then would pour me some orange juice. I walk out into the kitchen. "Goodmorning sweetie!" "Goodmorning!" Id reply. "Are you excited for the cafe?" "Of course i am!" Id say excitedly. My mom woke up my dad who had a habit of sleeping in. He'd yawn "What.." "Get up silly butt!" My mom would say. After having breakfeast my mom helped me get dressed. My mom was already dressed And so was my dad. We all get in the car and drive to the cafe. Once we got there we sat in the table we had booked and ordered the food. My mom told me I cant have a banana rum pancake and i dont know why! But I guess the kids pancakes were good. After we had food there we drove home. Mom got ready for work and dad grabbed out his computer. My dad work's at home. He help's doctor's! My mom's a walmart worker. Mom drop's me off at daycare. "Bye sweetie! Il be back really soon! Love you!". I walked into the daycare. "Susie!" My friend , Sophie , Would call out to me. Id run to were Susie was sitting. She was playing with her Bunny toy. "I have a suprise!" Sophie would say. "Whats the suprise?" Id ask. "You have to wait and see! Follow me!". I follow her into the playground. "Look!". Turns out they finished the big slide they'd been working on for month's. "Oh my donkey!" Id say. "I know!". "I wanna have a try!" I say. I walk up the stairs to the big slide. It was massive!. I slide down. "WEEEEEEE" Id say. "That was so cool!". "I know!" Sophie would say. *15 LIKES FOR PART 2*
This makes me feel like I’m underwater. No joy. No sadness. No anger. No emotions. This makes me feel like I’m underwater. Just pure calmness, and eternal sinking. Nothing but the void of water between death and life. I would die but I’m already dead. No lights. This makes me feel like I’m underwater. And if it’s possible to go back home, I won’t. Because I am home. This isn’t my new home, it always has been. And always will be. Silence. This makes me feel like I’m underwater.
POV: "I'm coming!" You call out to your mother as you hurry down the stairs. You hear the muffled honking from the car outside and rolled your eyes as you rushed out to the car. "I'm here!" You huffed in annoyance as you got in the car. "This is why I told you to wake up early!" Your mother said to you in a frustrated tone. "We won't even be that late..." You grumble, crossing your arms as you looked out the window. You watched the passing trees, the passing pedestrians, the passing houses, everything... You watched each and every single one carefully before it disappeared out of sight. You wondered, 'Why do I have to go to school anyway? Can't I be like that tree... Or that house? Standing still until I have to leave and disappear forever...' Your mother was strict and bossy, the type that always cared about grades and perfect attendance. She was frustrated and stressed at her child, the one that never listened to her mother's words. On the way, a green light suddenly changed to red, causing the mother to stop and sigh in annoyance. Then, she redirected her anger at *you,* yelling, "See! This wouldn't have happened if you just got up early. It's because of that phone, I tell you." Now irritated, you retaliate, raising your voice, "Well if you wanted me to wake up early that badly, you would've tried harder and not just checked up on me once! It's *your* fault for not waking me up properly!" Your mother, scoffing in disbelief, had a hard time focusing on the road. "What?! *My* fault?! The audacity of this child! *You* didn't wake up when I asked you to, it's *not* my fault my child can't wake up by themselves and be responsible!" She retorted. Another argument ensued, and as soon as the light turned green, your mother started speeding. She pressed on the pedal as hard as she could, as if she couldn't let out her anger just through her words. "I didn't raise my child to be this disrespectful! God, you are so disobedient!" Your mother spat angrily. "Well, I didn't ask *you* to raise me! In fact- I wish you were *NEVER* MY MOM!" You yelled. Then your eyes widen and they're fixated on what's in front. "MOM STOP TH-" *Too late.* *Beep - beep - beep - beep - beep....* The monitor rang. It's the last day of your stay at the hospital. You had healed well. You were good to go. You went to room 302. You sat down next to the bed. "I wish you were here, mom." "I'm sorry, mom." "I love you, mom."
