  • Plastics need a pre-treatment before printing. Commonly used are primer, flame or corona to increase the surface energy of the plastic and to promote ink adhesion. Watch the video to see how this works.

Buen día! Que tiempo se tiene que dejar el primer después de aplicado para aplicar la tinta

Rust-oleum makes a good Automotive Adhesion Promoter/Binding Primer.
Afterwards apply paint and then use a clear sealer.

I had some PET supplement bottles I filled with warm/hot water and sealed them.
Then I did a light sand, dunked them in ammonia for one minute, dunked them in high salinity water for a few minutes, let them cool down and dry. Later, I dunked them with soapy water, vinegar, clean water, and then 91% isopropyl. After drying, they absorbed dye pretty well.
I did the same with a construction hard hat but sprayed them with an adhesion promoter bonding primer instead of the ink and spray painted them. Paint stayed on very well.
