Sir, I worked in a 765/400kV Substation in PowerGrid. Where i saw AR in CB and working in different manner in operating sequence. O.3sCO3minCO When there was a fault, Relay initiates ,trip initiates and at the same time Auto Reclose Initiates. CB Trips in about 30ms, then CB will remain open for some time (0.3 sec) to complete the Arc Quenching which is called as Dead Time and is indicated by 0.3S in the Duty Cycle. After 0.3 sec, if AR is in Service, a Reclose will be attempted, and if the fault persists, CB Trips immediately ( AR Unsuccessful ) which is indicated by “CO” in the duty cycle. If its a Single Shot Auto-reclose, the Breaker will go into Auto Reclose Lockout, that means , the AutoReclose Relay will not give any further Reclose Command to the Breaker. After CO, there is a Reclaim Time of 3 Minutes, in which the CB gets ready for Closing, which includes CB Spring Charging Time, indicated by 3 Min in the Duty Cycle. My Question is in your Time Sequence ,How will CB get Time for charge the Spring Because minimum spring charge time is 7-10sec.
Breaker is always ready to perform a CO operation.. meaning that the spring will be already charged.. closing spring operation also charges the tripping spring
Presently, UPPCL uses Auto recloser in 220kv and above transmission lines. It's contrary to what you said that autorecloser is used only in distribution network. Plz clarify
Hello. Yes Autoreclosing is done in all voltage level. In HV the autoreclosing is done using the circuit breaker. This is a dedicated device used in the distribution.
Generally you don't need to actually "send" people at the location of the transient fault the circuit breaker installed in the Power Sub Station does the job of breaking the feeder and PSS operator recloses it
A clever design, it saves a lot of hassle, but also defaults to stay open after 3 failed clearing attempts.

Thanks, very informative and helpful
Glad it was helpful!
Great!! 🎉 Nice to know about you are the Ex-Siemens employee .
Thanks! 😃
I loved your video. I watched carefully and continue to like and subscribed😊
Learning new🙏😌
Good to know!! Keep learning
Another banger..!😭🙌🏻🔥

great information my brother, my next task is Testing and commissioning of a SF6 Auto Recloser .
All the best 👍🏻
Excellent...
Thanks a lot
Appreciate your work sir...if possible please make a video on bus differential protection scheme with micom p40 relay
Will try!!

Kindly share your knowledge in Master Trip Relay, Auto Reclose Relay... How they will act in a high voltagr system

hi sir, give detailed video about bus bar scheme type , function etc..
Automatic circuit reclosers are very significant in reliability of network grid.
Indeed
is this recloser and Air break switch same?
No. They are different. Air break switch do not have capabilities to break the fault current
Hi sir ,, give video about bus bar scheme type
detailed
In Saudi arbic we work on this project now a day
How auto recloser sense the fault current
Sir put pratial discharge videos
Sure. Will try!
💗
👍
can we say circuit breaker is the recloser
Circuit breaker on its own cannot perform the reclosing operations. It needs a system for that
@@GauravJ system in the sense one command from SCADA which operates our Circuit breaker in its open close sequence. is it right?
@Charmingbanana696 for circuit breakers generally an auto reclosing relay is provided. Which gives commands to the breaker.
Kripya Hindi me bhi Explain kare sir please
