You're right. Certs will change your life but not as people expect. I would argue it is the first step. I shows you are committed, you have an idea of what we people are talking about, and the HR may notice you. However, I believe certs alone is not enough. You need to get your hands dirty. In addition, you have to be able to create your brand, market yourself, and differentiate from the competition. The problem is this requires a lot of time and resources. And if you (and most people) need that job asap, it may not seem feasible unless if you are willing to make a lot of sacrifices. Investing in oneself to pivot into certain industry is a full-time job itself without pay (at least until after you get that job).
I've bailed on the cert route. I got my CCNA, but anyone would only hire me for admin or ops jobs, a route that I hated. I wanted a more design route. And this is after I got a comp sci degree.
@@insideout3292 no worries, I would start studying the absolute basics of Computing. Professor Messers A+ course here on UA-cam is free and you can watch his videos to begin to understand the basics, and then continue to build on those more. Feel free for reach out again if you need any more help!

Agreed 💯
Good Information. Definitely more than just a certification, it will require some more work along with your faith, but it will be worth the Process🙏
Thanks for watching!

One word: Experience!
Thats the name of the game!
For a beginner, physical or online class which is the best
Depending on how you learn. I recommend self study though!
I don't have IT background
