U of M and pro-Palestinian protesters reached an agreement to end the encampment on campus

Organizers of pro-Palestinian protests at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities campus and university leadership announced Thursday morning that they’ve reached an agreement to end the dayslong encampment on Northrop Mall.
Protesters have been calling on the U to disclose any connections with and financial investments in companies with ties to the Israeli military, and then cut ties or divest.
As part of the agreement the U said it will provide information soon on its holdings in public companies but noted that some investments “are protected by non-disclosure agreements or other legal constraints.”
