it's not really about that. the panda represented Mei's true self, and how she wanted to express herself but had to keep it hidden for her family, as it was not accepted. Many Chinese/Asian-Americans can relate to this movie, especially not feeling good enough for your parents. If you missed the concept, that's okay. But a lot of kids, now adults, needed to heal from their issues with their parents. This movie represented those Chinese-Americans whose experiences are similar, disregarding the red panda stuff.

"My body, my choice" is good for protesting the illegal abortions thing, not when you literally need to stay inside your home or you and your loved ones will die a horrible painful death because you couldn't bare putting a piece of cloth over your face.
I loved the movie but that line made me angry for no reason as well, probably the only line I genuinely hated
@@billcipher8645 Exactly, it was really cringe, too.
@@billcipher8645 The movie is terrible, i literally grew a third arm because of how bad it is
It was too political. If I watch an animated kid movie I want it to be for entertainment not to represent politics.
" Im about to whoop his ass!" had me laughing
The toilet part was the funniest this channel has peaked😂😂😂

When i saw this in the movie i was like "wtf am i even watching"
Yeah. Cringiest scene.
Me too I laughed onto the floor
It’s even considered a kids movie somehow
this can be applied to the whole movie
@Danny Smith it's a kids movie
