And to think this video is only a snippet of everything they've endured. I understand BTS music not being for everyone. But I don't understand the blatant hate, racism, xenophobia, homophobia, and death threats they face daily. There are plenty of music artists I don't particularly like but I don't waste my time going to their mv's and making rude comments and making fun of the people who do like those artists. BTS only want to bring positivity and happiness to people around the world and people will say anything about BTS to try to bring them down. And don't get me wrong I know BTS isn't perfect but they always try to learn from their mistakes and do better.
Regarding the issue / case spying on Bighit company now BTS company HYBE it will take you around 30 minutes to go inside the building because of its tight and strict security, BTS mission is to spread positivity thru their music, but still some are jealous because of their fAme but too good BTS members are so Humble. RM said when there's a light there's always a shadow.
When they recently signed a new contract Big Hit urged the Members to have their own Lawyers review it to make sure it was favorable to them..They were never suing Big Hit
The thing that also should be included in the video is how billboard treated BTS in the last years and how they stopped posting the most popular artist chart and replaced it with the hot trending song chart because BTS topped it for years but the new chart is also mostly topped by BTS even with more than just one song. Also how they recently changed the rules for the hot 100 chart after first accusing Army of being bots and then being called out about it by RM in an interview. Just because army figured out how to get them on the chart and were pushing their songs more and billboard didn’t like that. Billboard and The Grammys are also fishing for ARMYs attention again with their Grammy nomination and it’s blatantly obvious. The German Radio host lost his show in the end. The last thing that we heard about him job-wise was, that he got a new one on a tinier radio station. But he is still presenting himself as a victim of unfair accusations and that “ he is/was never a racist” to the public. And his devoted fans cheer him on. Recently he also got into problems because he was openly sexist to a women on social media.
Every time I hear someone talking crap about War of Hormone, I want to give 'em a rundown of the highly-sexualized songs of the 80s (which was a ton of them..my mom reacted with revulsion to some of Prince's lyrics, and it's as well she never heard Frankie Goes to Hollywood) and the constant misogyny and objectification of women in 90s rap. War of Hormone is tamer than a baby lamb, compared to that, and even without comparison, it's a perfectly good song. The teenage years are about discovering sexuality and people need to stop pearl-clutching about it.
Same ad a woman, war of hormone is one of my favorite songs....They're teen boys expressing themselves plus they end it with "women are the best gift"? Plus it's one of their best songs honestly
Did you guys know that the "misogynistic" lyrics was a mistranslation? They made RM apologize for something they didn't do. I still hate those people who say WOH was misogynistic. Specially those "fans" that claims to be ARMY 🙄
@@Agane_D. I did not know, but I am not surprised. I ran into a 'former ARMY' last year who kept insisting that BTS ARE SO PROBLEMATIC... basing this claim on events from 2013-2015, then insisting they 'never apologized'. Even after I copy-pasted the apologies in question into a comment, this individual kept insisting that we're all brainwashed fools who close our eyes to how sexist and racist BTS are and how they never once said they were sorrry. I don't tolerate gaslighting, so I had some very... direct things to say about that... I'm fairly sure now that it was someone trying to drive new ARMYs out of the fandom, who gave up when they saw how well-informed the comment section was, but it still grinds my gears when I think about it.
Mostly it was the translations that make it seems worse than it is. Although the way it was translated was still not that bad especially compared to other artists even in Korea or America. I don’t find anything wrong with the song and I actually thoroughly enjoy the song!
Just because it doesn't seem problematic to you, doesn't mean it isn't though. There's a reason they consult experts now. Even if you don't have bad intentions, you might be ignorant about things. Not a big deal to just admit the boys have made some mistakes, they learned from them.
Those b%tches said Miss Right and Converse High were misogynistic .......... Miss Right is such a sweet song and Converse High is so good and flirty but it's not even explicit. You can get an idea of what kind of people they are, I think they don't like to see teenagers / people entering adulthood talking about their sexuality, hormones and pimples
I've said this more than once but it's impressive that the boys didn't let this hate bring them down. They were all very young and this could have easily broken them or jaded their overall view of people but instead they continued to release music to bring comfort, support and love for each other and ARMY. It's also hard to say things weren't "that bad" when this video lays out the physical proof that started from debut and continues 9 years later. I'm sure you know that JK has tattoos, a full sleeve now, but when he started in 2019 and the first hints of them brought even more nasty out of the woodwork. The amount of hate that boy got was beyond stupid and the shit show that followed was disgusting. A leaked picture from CCTV that showed him hugging (oh my god!!!) a young lady who is a friend of his and an edited picture surfaced that showed him enjoying a meal with a group of friends but everyone but those 2 were cropped out. People (I refuse to call them ARMY) went onto social media to discover who this girl was and flooded all of her SNS with hateful comments. During this same time frame in 2019 (the boys were on an official break period) another video featuring Jimin being a normal young guy in his 20s with friends at a pub became public. Antis had a field day with that one claiming he was doing all kinds of illegal drugs and twisting everything to make him out to be a terrible person. It has to be exhausting to live under a microscope 90 percent of your young adult life and need to watch everything you do.
oh i remember this german host guy... he recieved a huge backlash and armys all over the world were bringing the issue about the racism towards asians, not only bts for a few weeks after that because of the increased aggressions due to the pandemic. he and his company tried to apologise a few times stating that he "wasn't intending to be offensive" (yeah calling them "little pissers" and "blasphemy" on air is not offensive at all) and "attempted to express his feeling in an exaggerated manner that hurt the feeling of bts' fans". they claimed it was just a joke and never realized that jokes can be racist too and can have drastic consequences, they also never realised that it wasn't exactly about hurting armys feelings. we never made it about our feelings. we were fighting the blatant anti-asian internalised racism. with every attempt to save his image the guy was burring himself even further, saying he can't be called racist because he uses a korean car (it was japanese but it doesn't even matter, how a car can be compared to the respect towards a nation), saying he just underestimated armys power along the way calling us "fanatical followers of a musical cash machine" that "distorted his statements" by the "currently very popular racist stick". it was a mess. a mess that perfectly shows you what kind of environment bts and army have to deal with regularly an interesting info from the Weverse publishing: "BTS’s latest collab “My Universe,” was made through a kind of understanding between the group and Coldplay. The collab itself had been under consideration much earlier, but Coldplay’s name came up when a German DJ made racist remarks about BTS in early 2021 while preparations were being made. Both BTS and Coldplay clearly opposed the idea of racism. Consequently, this social awareness found its way into the final product when it was eventually released, making the collaboration about more than just the song itself." and the lines from the song are "they said we can't be together because we come from different sides"
I'm so grateful that bts hasn't given up, despite everything they've been through. They've said multiple times before that army is the reason they keep going (and also bc they want to stay together the 7 of them). One of my favorite quotes from Namjoon is when he said in 2016 "we'll protect you and you'll protect us whatever may happen in the future", and they never broke that promise. They protect and defend us too, sticking up for and taking care of us even when they didn't necessarily need to. They are also very aware of what we deal with in order to protect them and Yoongi even said something like "we were the ones supposed to shield army from oppression, but instead they ended up enduring it with us" or "they [armys] are made fun of because they're idol fans. It's not easy to do what they for us just because they like us". The way this video is just an overview of some cases that are not even a fraction of what we actually go through on a daily basis. You wouldn't believe the horrendous and absurd things I've witnessed as an army. People (antis, media, industry, locals, even politicians) attacking, harrassing, discriminating, dehumanizing and trying to use their name for personal profit or twisting anything they say in whichever way they can. Like I've actually seen antis try to fabricate evidence of the members comitting serious crimes just so they can destroy their career and reputation (they tried to fabricate fake crimes against armys too) or just attack them for the dumbest things like when jk was wearing clothes from his brother's company and antis tried to report him to a korean institution for dishonest advertisement (my man was literally just wearing the clothes, he didn't even say anything about them), or for using masks during a pandemic, or for holding hands with each other, or for having colored mics, or even for studying (I legit saw someone say like "if my idol was studying I'd slap him in the face" just bc bts was studying for their masters degrees while being idols like wtf). We usually reffer to the ones who pretend to be army to cause fanwars or tarnish our reputation as "cosplayers", they change their profile pic and username to something bts related, but if you click on their account all you see is them spamming hate and trying to cause trouble to get the boys dragged. They must be miserable people, I can't imagine living like that. Damn people even try to guilt trip us into not supporting the boys like "they won too many awards already, you armys are so selfish, let others artists win too" like what? never seen anyone say that to other artists fandoms, no one was giving up awards so bts could win, why should we? I am a fan of bts so obviously I'm gonna support my boys, hello? If you want your artist to win you're welcome to work hard for them, just like armys did for years while the fandom was still a small. In regards to the music industry, we are seeing a repeat in the US of what happened in Korea (the difference is the added xenophobia and racism) - BTS' very self made success shines light on the dirty sides of those industries and threaten the status quo and power dynamics (they succeeded through their own efforts and army's direct support, so they do not depend on the usual institutions like many artists do. Those people can't control bts, therefore they try to hide their shine or shut them down. That's why you don't hear much about them in regular media). These people keep failing to realize that the more they try to disregard the boys the more army is DETERMINED to make them more successful than they already are. Like we literally use our anger as productivity fuel and that's why you will often see bts whole discography chart whenever we're pissed they didn't get recognition. At the end of the day, the harder people hate on them, the fiercer is the love and support that army gives them.
They had nothing They were poor They did not have much money Had goals They were strong And now they are the most successful band in the world ... just because these seven guys are worth living proudly for. I'm proud to be their fan, my friend, believe me: such artists are the units in the industry .. We should be thankful that we live in their century! They have everything in front of them; History / The world will always remember our incomparable 7 angels!
Right after the concert in 2015 , 5 biggest K pop idol fandoms united to attack BTS and 3 others joined spreading rumors on SNS. I still can not have good feelings about those groups and do not care if they gain popularity in the U.S. or not. If I would have known my fans were accusing false rumors towards to other artists, I should have said something about it. It was even on a news , plz do not make an excuse for them.
Yes true. Older ARMY know all those fandoms and their groups. The artists themselves didn't say anything when their fans spread false accusations against BTS. That's why I hate kpop after becoming ARMY. Before that I have no opinion about kpop. I don't watch reaction to other groups coz it brings memories of what their fans did🤢
I still remember and can write a long paragraph on those perticular Fandom & what they did..but I'll save it for now, don't want ppl to think that I'm spreading h@te against that grup or fandom..ppl can forgive but i would never forget nor forgive their actions..i listen to "groups" in question, respect them as artists but those k-pop Fandoms (specifically 4-5 big fandoms who made co-ordinated attacks on BTS that time, biggest Fandoms in k-pop that time) left a bad taste in my mouth..imagine two giant fandoms at the time attacking a relatively new group over baseless rumors, the coordinated attacks during their rise after Wings are the biggest reasons armys today are extremely defensive and the fact BTS talk about this eras are not a secret but for some reason many non-army k-pop fans still refuse to acknowledge that this had a lasting affect to BTS and with how armys act now...i listen to almost all k-pop groups, I'm a casual k-pop listener, respect those artists & groups, but never consider myself part of any other Fandom other than being part of Army.. biggest reason is the daily microaggression i see from majority of k-pop Fandoms & Multi-stans throwing BTS under the Bus..this different behaviour & treatment towards BTS or Army by majority of k-pop stans is so normalised in this industry, that it really frustrates me ngl
@@mitchramirez3489 EXO-Ls(ofc💀), VIPs and Shawols made the most noise but B2uty and Starlights also contributed...not to forget melodies and other small Fandoms who helped to trend # againsts BTS..this are the Fandoms i remember..
That whole "You brought leftovers" on that variety show with Jungkook brought out a maternal instinct in me that I never knew I had. I don't have children, I've ever met him, never seen him in real life, but I was ready to drop kick a b*!ch. BTS have since returned to the show and shown a forgiveness I KNOW I don't have, but that BTS have always encouraged us to show. They are a final form of human I can never attain. But ARMYs are like the North. We will always remember.
as you read other fandoms love to think they are able to sabotage us, so what we have been doing during important times for the group (like a comeback, or an important performance/appearance) is "bts lockdown". we keep in our own social circles, we don't engage with aggressive and hateful posts or someone trying to bring up controversy, even if we want to defend their image. during bts lockdown nothing bothers us, we are interested in bts only lol
I actually didn’t know this. Good to know. I feel this needs to be spread more, especially to newer ARMY. Don’t get me wrong I never try to spread hate or negativity but doesn’t it fully mean others don’t.
@@amberpearce710 When comeback is announced, curiously in the past, suddenly rumors and controversy start like antis spreading it and scandalous type news tend to conveniently pop up out of nowhere. It’s like the antis & other entities (ie other fandoms, companies, or whoever) is trying to distract army in supporting BTS for comeback. Ignore the rumors, hate, and “news” …focus on enjoying and supporting BTS in their music. It’s almost like clockwork. Like, the news of JTBC reporters broke into Big Hit to find dirt & reported a made up story that BTS/families are trying to sue Big Hit, after BTS won all 4 daesangs at MMA and they were going to do Jingle Ball next here in LA and go to MAMA after (which they won all 4 as well). They’re just trying to use BTS to distract their own bad behavior/controversy. I forgot what it was, but I think it was to put their image on blast so people can ignore their own scandal. Anyway, some arguments aren’t worth it, especially other fandoms. Let them suffer in jealousy and be happy with BTS.
I agree with Amber, this needs to be commented in more reaction channels and spread around to baby ARMYS. I didn't know this myself; I missed most of the drama for Butter and My Universe (the joy of not being on Twitter), plus my experience tells me that trolls are best ignored, rather than fed. But I have seen enough people retaliating to haters to conclude that not everyone knows about it. ...Is that what's going on with the current 'anti-Jimin' attitude, which is being attributed to 'taekookers', then? Or is that just solos being solos again? 'Cause that's invaded Weverse tonight, and it's annoying me greatly. 😠
@@ystrw if we are talking about radical shippers this attitude never stopped. report the post & account and ignore. the more clicks we give them the more exposure they get
@@erume5776 Yes, and the more rubbish they spout. Report and Ignore is what I advise others to do, too, I just wondered at the timing, with all this Seoul, Grammy and Vegas (and Everland) talk.
It broke my heart every time I watched this video. I understand their music is not everyone's cup of tea but for some people to throw all those hates at 7 young men who have done nothing bad to others are beyond my comprehension. BTS are human beings, never mind they are really good people. No one deserves to be treated like that. They are well loved by many but on the other hand they seem to get the most hates due to their popularity and loyal fan base. That's the reason why ARMYs feel the strong need to protect them.
At 4:20, the guy speaking is i11evn, whose real name is Choi Ikje, was one of the original members along with J-Hope, Suga, RM and three other members. BTS was originally suppose to debut as a hip-hop group, but when Big Hit changed it to an idol group some of the original members left and the group reformed with Jin, V, Jungkook and Jimin (who was the last to join) and became the BTS we know today.
I am 70 and do not see anything wrong with War of Hormone or Boy In Love lyrics. If it would have been any other group popular at that time nothing would have been said about the lyrics being misogynistic. The Big 3 and the fandoms were trying to keep them from succeeding not the groups. About exemption from military service. BTS has not been given exemption only deferral until they are 30 yrs old. Jin will become 30 in Dec this year so he will have to serve unless he is exempted.
I’m almost 50 and WOH and BIL is nothing compared to what I grew up on LMAO. The stuff in the west is waaaay worse, but for more conservative South Korea, that might have been a bit much. Back in 2000 a song was released called “Coming Of Age Ceremony” by Park Ji-yoon. It was about a woman who is ready to have sex for the first time with the man who’s been waiting for her to “mature”, now the lyrics are classy, they were tame. However in very conservative SK, that was considered very racy at the time. Park Ji-yoon went through a rough time over it, felt like she’d embarrassed her parents. However these days the song has been covered numerous times by girl groups and even Jungkook and Jimin did the dance routine for it. I saw WOH as a tongue in cheek mocking of themselves about the “war” they have with their testosterone during their sexual prime. It wasn’t misogynistic to me but could be seen as objectifying women. Of course, any time a man describes what physically attracts him to a woman is always seen that way these days, but men are objectified just as much. The same people in the west who had issue with this song objectify the boys all the time, so I don’t even want to hear it lol. We have far worse here, some that actually sound misogynistic to me gets radio play and those artists don’t have to apologize and never perform the songs again. I’d have to know more about the songs released in Korea by other artists to know if that was bad to them. BIL, yeah it was a little aggressive (especially the MV where this girl is pushed up against a locker by Jin, which he did say he felt bad about that), but still for me really not that bad. Unfortunately SK has a bad reputation with domestic violence. They got BWL now, which I think shows the maturity they’ve come to when it comes to courting love. Namjoon gets his lyrics tested now with feminist groups so hopefully they never have that controversy again unless something is considered “ok” now, but in 5 years might not be if what we’ve seen in the west is any indication. Of course our artists seem to get a pass. But the consideration they were just picked on for being the underdog is valid too. As far as exemption, some in the legislature want a compromise, to pass a bill that would allow BTS to do public service in between their schedule as a band instead of full military duty for a period of 34 months. Obviously what they contribute to their economy (3% of their GDP, rivaling Samsung and Hyundai!!!), all the things they’ve done to increase South Korea’s positive standing in the world is a consideration. Others in the legislature feel between the falling birth rates=falling population and it may not be “fair”. If we’re talking about BTS alone it’s only 7 people, but I think they’re worried about ALL kpop bands getting in on this so then you’re talking about thousands. However, just like the exemptions they give athletes, classical musicians, ballet dancers and others, only the most accomplished get them and this would be no different. No other kpop group has accomplished what BTS has, so other groups probably wouldn’t qualify if it’s drawn up that way. Since as of right now kpop groups have never been exempt, people are concerned about fairness. I haven’t heard anything about it since November/December last year when they said they had made no progress on getting the bill passed. Some people think this is hinging on a Grammy win, because others exempt have received prestigious international awards, but I don’t know how true that is. I hope not because as we know, they might not get it. So time will tell, they got until December to figure this out. I’m giving no opinion on it, since I’m not Korean and somehow not allowed an opinion. So we’ll see. I wouldn’t count on it, but it’s a possibility. Some people think if they have full military duty they can still work with the band and that’s a big fat no. The military is really strict about this stuff. Psy (“Gangnam Style” Psy) back in 2003 was working for a software company that served national interest. He was allowed to work there as his “conscription” with no actual military duty. While doing this he released an album, did TV appearances and some concerts. His conscription was over in 2005, but state prosecutors were not happy about him doing all that. In 2007 he had to repeat his conscription with military duty this time. So unless they pass this bill or decide to give them full exemption without public service, we won’t see the boys while they are in. It will be sad if they have to go, but that’s all I’ll say. If they have to, they have to.
@@taequilasilver7183 EXACTLY, to us in the west that was nothing, but South Korea is much more conservative. I’d have to research what other groups have put out to know if this song was pushing any boundaries. It’s possible they just got crap because they were the underdog and far worse has come out from the bigger companies, but I’m not versed on this enough to know.
The thing is at that time existed groups and still are kpop groups with problematic lyrics and mvs but you won’t see they being attacked the way bts was because it wasn’t about the lyrics it was because was them and people wanted them gone. The standard the people put bts vs others artists were always different. They dont treat them like human beings that can make mistakes and aren’t perfect just like any one of us and that is so unfair
So much of this hate came from fans of other k-pop groups who were jealous of BTS’s rising fame and angry that they were winning awards that they felt their group should have won. This continues today, with many other fan groups claiming that it’s not fair that BTS win all of the major awards.
It's a fickle industry but the lengths that antis go to because they're jealous only serves to make army more determined, antis behavior is actually fuelling BTSs success to some degree. Love your videos 💜
Sadly the mistreatment doesn’t stop but they still keep on succeeding. Given the context of many lyrics by the rapline in their songs it really helps to understand why they and Army do get defensive. Honestly they have risen in an industry that doesn’t like them, the rappers underground don’t think they are grunge street enough in the idol world they were t attractive enough and didn’t get the opportunities the big 3 groups did so they made their own opportunities and content. They tackle things idol groups don’t talk about in depth of content and social commentary. And yes it means that army who know get protective and feel more deeply connected as a community to each other because BTS is protective of Army too, when people try to make fun of the fandom they always step up. Even now they talk to Army in Weverse and now Instagram like we are bffs it’s hilarious (just a day ago JK answered 63 questions from Korean army’s on Instagram driving the poor fandom crazy with trying to translate and keep up with his posts, the same day just a bit later Taehyung did a less flirty chatting with Army in Weverse and they all do things like this).
hey im about to comment a very long comment but i have to post it in multiple comments sorry in advance and thank you for reading the whole thing if you do. :) she brushed over some things in here and i get it its a lot of information so it needed to be organized so that newer armys and people in general could understand what went on however some of the details and just how bad some of the incidents were omitted. example during the thing with japan the death threats were very severe that many japanese armys begged bts to not come to japan. it wasnt just death threats by other fandoms it was non fans general public in japan. like death threats in general arent a game and are scary but the fact it wasnt just fans this time was a lot scarier and no one knew if the people were serious or not. i read that japanese armys also got death threats for continuing to support bts some of their schools were threatened. the concerts and fan meetings were threatened. and japanese armys who have a culture of not going to airports to see celebrities they all bravely decided to meet bts in the airport in support the show them they still had japanese armys there for them. the videos were beautiful and heartbreaking the guys looked do scared but so thankful for the support. (more below)
a lot of the other groups know that their fans hate bts and some of them took advantage of that hating on bts to their faces some being "seniors" meaning bts really cant stick up for themselves much due to the age hierarchy and respect culture of korea where not only age plays a part but say a group of guys regardless of their actual individual ages the group debut before bts theyre considered bts seniors in the industry so bts have to show respect to them even if their individual ages are younger than the bts members. many of the older groups that bts looked up to before their debut looked down on them once bts was in the industry. bts have talked about not having many idol friends and cutting people off for talking badly about their group or fans. there was a viral video a few years ago of a ex member of a group shit talking bts to either armys or his old fans and saying that bts didnt deserve their success that no one knew who they were when his group was big etc and this is why majority of armys dont assume bts is friends with many idols just cause they bow or say hi doesnt mean friends it coud just be them being respectful meanwhile thats how the artists treat them behind closed doors. and RM has said "how much can i actually say that it doesnt seem like im attacking my opponents how much truth can i actually put out i think about this a lot" because people always hate on them regardless thats why they put out tracks like mic drop and the cyphers and in some songs they made it clear its not just the underground rap scene theyre talking about its the idols and talk show hosts/variety show hosts, interviewers, journalists, etc so when people try to say "its the not groups or artists who fight or hate each other its just the fandoms being toxic " thats never been the case bts has said it many times and im sure as time goes on theyll probably talk about it eventually or maybe they wont but if you read the lyrics you can tell who theyre referring to like the groups of people not actual names but like if its underground you can tell if its kpop industry related you can tell if its other fandoms/haters online you can tell. theyve never been specific with names except in a cypher they were very specific but other than that you just gotta put the lyrics into context and you can easily tell what kind of people theyre talking about. many multi stans ignore that though or maybe they dont know all the information so they assume wrongly but im just saying dont believe the its just the fans narrative when it comes up.
another thing korea has a class system thats particular to their society and the way it relates to the kpop industry is if you debut in a big 3 company youre gonna be successful because of those labels "legacy, reputation, how many artists were successful from those labels etc" and all idols from small labels were held to the standards as the idols from the big labels if you werent pulling in enough success to compete you probably werent going to survive as a group. and if you debut from anywhere else you probably wont succeed because no one really supports those labels the artists are thought of as less than the big 3 artists. since kpop first started the only ones winning awards getting big and successful were from the big 3 due to money mostly not saying those artists arent talented they are but it just felt odd how talent in all other companies/labels were ignored just cause they didnt come from a big 3 label. like in the states for example we dont think oh im gonna support only artists from umg and no one else. we just listen to whatever music we want to whether its on the radio or searching on the internet etc its usually word of mouth like i could listen to 20 unknown punk bands that were on warped tour or other small venues or i could listen to top 40 artists or underground rappers i come a cross on youtube or music in other languages like bts , bad bunny etc i dont think "im not gonna listen to this artists cause theyre from this label or theyre not from this label" i didnt pay attention to labels at all before getting into BTS i didnt know how any music industry worked or how media and tv and radio worked with the labels etc in any country i just didnt know and didnt really care. but to see that in korea everyone either doesnt like kpop at all, or only supports artists from certain companies and theres not much crossover and i was like why? and it came down to class systems you were considered more worthy of a idol if you were from a big 3 label. or you were considered bad for being a idol at all.
BTS changed those perspectives. their success proved everyone wrong now more people pay attention to groups from smaller companies not as much as they should but a lot better than they used to. and bts changed the perspective of idols now people can say theyre fans of idols without being embarrassed in korea because bts are koreas pride now. i still dont understand or know everything but thats what ive gathered from korean armys who translate and nice journalists who helped talk positively about bts in korean media like Kim Youngdae or professor JiYoung Lee these two are trying to tell the korean public the truth about bts journey as media distorted it and hid it from korea because the big 3 paid the media to hide bts and sabotage bts. when bts got big in 2017 in the u.s thats when korea started to open their eyes and see bts for who they are not the lies they were fed by the media. bts went from only having 2000 fans at their first concert (which for idols from big labels is a small number) in korea to now having 300,000 people in the queue to try to get a ticket for a 15,000 capacity concert in 2022. bts is slowly helping make the kpop industry better but all the kpop industry ever did was try to harm them, sabotage them and use them for their own gain. thats why armys dont call bts as kpop idols along with how kpop is perceived in the west due to how the big 3 treat their artists. thats a whole other story but yeah armys dont think its fair or right that these labels and industry people and groups get to benefit from bts success after trying to bring them down and still trying to in some ways. but we also want bts and korean artists, asian artists and non english speaking artists in general to be treated better in the west and not be looked at as a other compared to american/western artists like taylor swift or lady gaga etc. so its a very weird place armys in that were just supporting bts and trying to stay out of everything else. another thing that annoys us is people hate bts and army so much but want bts success for their groups or artists but they dont wanna acknowledge the work bts did nor the work army did. we LOVE the music which is why we do what we do. people claim to love these groups and artists but they dont wanna stream at all. streaming is important to a artists success so is buying. especially now that touring is harder cause of covid thats really the only way group and artists get paid. and its like yeah you can listen to music and not care about that thats the artists problem ive done that in the past too. but then these fans complain the groups break up or the artists stop making music to pursue another career because theyre broke and arent making money. and its partly due to the fans not caring. armys in the early years cared and armys now care even though bts have enough money theyre rich now we didnt want bts to just fade away cause we cared about them, their music and their messages in the music. people dont wanna do what armys did for bts the industry wants another army not really another bts. they try to replicate what bts do but arent getting the same results because those fans are not armys. so the industry is trying even harder to get rid of bts so industry standards can go low again i guess thats what it looks and feels like to me. example of the work army did is korean albums WERE NOT distributed in america at all. ARMY made that happen by requesting in person at targets, walmarts, best buys, barns & nobles etc we requested bts albums until they contacted korean embassy and requested for bts albums to be distributed in stores in the u.s. after bts all other kpop groups, artists and korean artists in general can now be found in american store and stores around the world. im not exactly sure if the distribution in other countries was done by american armys or if it was done by armys in those countries also requesting but i know for a fact in the u.s. it was cause u.s. armys requested it until it happened. there were kpop artists who came to the u.s before bts but none of their albums were ever distributed in stores until bts. thats just 1 thing armys have done that the industry has taken advantage of while also trying to sabotage bts. sorry for the very long comment thank you so much if you read the whole thing please also react to "how bts paved the way" by bbygangmag along with his other videos on bts and kpop. :)
we genuinely don't like when someone use our numbers for their profit while not treating bts and army with the respect. like grammys lol. so usually big accounts among army would stream the event and armys will watch it from there, not from the official streaming. we really turn in only when it's time for bts to perform. so grammys tried but failed to raise their views 😂
around 2015-2017, the backlash in korea was getting really out of hand, they were at that point where they just got big enough for big companies to REALLY wanna get rid of them but just not big enough for the government/enough fans to defend, help them so during that time, everyone in tv stations, radio, media got the memo that big companies want them gone, fandoms teamed up against army, armys could not say they are armys or they will get cyber bullied/people leaking their info etc. it was really hard during that time, I hope all armys who went through that are staying strong and proud :)
Because ARMY has always been VERY active online, it attracts so much attention. People tend to get more jealous of the fandom than even BTS’ success. ARMY is highly active, with tons of discussion of music quality of BTS’ works, their never ending content AND admirable qualities of the members. So imagine the average kpop fandom online feeling irritated that their groups don’t illicit the same amount of activity with fellow fans. It’s been very galling to them that ARMYs think BTS are the best even when ARMYs aren’t comparing BTS against any other group. That’s why they take so much effort online to disrupt fandom cohesiveness and attack BTS. It’s even been pointed out that ARMYs have seen suspicious bot-like posts online that look like competing labels trying to stir up trouble. Why would they do that? Well, those labels rely heavily on their stockholder’s decisions and BTS’ success has been a WRENCH in the false ‘success’ narrative these shareholders had been fed. It’s the same with the US radio/chart industry. BTS’ authentic success exposed SO much corruption and false ‘success’ stories that industry saboteurs are rampant. I know I sound ‘crazy’ but Rolling Stone has many investigative articles exposing these practices. BTS disrupt the stats quo
I just commented something similar about bts success exposing a lot of the dirt in the music industry. I sometimes tell my local friends about the rotten side of the music industry and they're so shook. Like youtube deleting views, or Spotify filtering rates & label deals and radio payola. I'm sure I would've never known these things either if I wasn't army. Most people have no idea of what goes behind of those songs playing on the radio 24/7. Becoming army really open your eyes.
@@camilesouzaa same.. Becoming army opened my eyes to the rotten side of music industry.. it's so corrupted.. infact being Army has made me very aware of many things around me, which i would hv never known generally speaking..not just only about music, or how industry works but also their music, the issue of society they tackle through their music, their philanthropic deeds..everything made me grow into a better person..
@@aishwaryaahirrao same, I've learned SO MUCH about SO MANY things in the years that I've been part of this fandom. Not only from bangtan themselves, but we learn a lot from each other too, since armys come from such different cultures and backgrounds. It really impacts you as a person.
People attacking Tae after he openly cries on stage about his grandmother! Aghhh. What kind of people do this….Why do I keep watching this! It makes me so mad💔💔. Love your channel btw! That’s why💜💜💜💜
a lot of accusations you will hear about are just exaggerations. antis will pick any chance to throw some hate speech at bts. i once saw someone saying bts are plagiators bc one of them wore a beanie the way some other idol did (this means just wearing a beanie, there was nothing special, a beanie on a head). bts don't plagiarize. why would they? they have skills to be amazing by themselves this hate often comes from the place of jealousy
It hurts a lot to watch this video for me because they were very complicated moments and with bad memories for those armys who were with them. However, at the same time, it brings strength to remind us of everything we've been through. It's good to have a short record with these things so they don't get forgotten in bts x army history as time goes on. Good reaction 💜 Looking forward to more bts videos in the future
One thing is for sure no other artist has been through what they have been through...everything they have achieved and or won is through blood sweat and tears (no pun intended) and they are the only artist to actually reach out to their fans to form a bond about daily struggles of life and show them they care and when they are not working their tails off they are connecting thru weverse, Instagram, vlive, Twitter with their fans....it’s like a family checking in with or on each other...that’s the way it is with BTS/ARMY...I’m an older Army and would not have made it thru the last 2 years if I hadn’t discovered BTS....I truly believe if you fall into this crazy world BTS was put in your path for a reason 💜💜💜I hope BTS and ARMY are with each other til the end of time .
It is said that "BTS finds you when you need them the most". The last 2 years BTS have helped many thru this "_hit show" the world has become, with uplifting music, online concerts and just being in touch with their fans with incouragement. We need them and they need us.With all that they are going thru they still take the time to uplift us.BTS "found" me in 2017 when I needed them the most. When life gets tough, I listen to BTS and chill. It always helps.I can't help but Love and respect them.
I'm from the Netherlands. Here on the radio BTS songs are almost never played. They do play "my universe" but when they do, the radio host calls it; a song by Coldplay. BTS is never mentioned.
If you want to listen to BTS 'alleged' mysoginistic song, it is War of Hormone. All they were doing was singing about schoolboy love, them being hormonal teenagers themselves! It is nothing compared to western acts who use lewd language and visuals. I have no problem with any BTS track.💜
ok so the White Paper Project thing, personally, i think xCeleste kinda minimized the situation. i wasn't an army at that time but i've heard and talk with other armys about it and it was incredibly bad. A lot of armys got were immensely attacked for defending Bangtan, some armys had anxiety attacks because of this. BTS got a sht ton of death threats. till this day, most armys hate and despise kpop fans and antis because of what happened at this time. people attacked BTS wrongly. this is a very sensitive topic amongst our fandom, so you won't see armys talk about it but i'll just say that, BTS is 100% with no doubt the most (unjustified) attacked artist on the internet, and us as their fans get attacked just by saying we are armys. i also want to point out that BTS were monster rookies. they were (still are) amazing and had a pretty successful debut. thats why people felt threatened by them. the attacks by "that group" fans were non stop. and it wasn't just the fans, it was the companies. there's a reason armys hate the big three. there's a reason most armys dont like kpop and just stan BTS. because people in this industry have treated BTS like sht. till this day, even if it sounds stupid, there a re a lot of fanwars on twt. and armys are always called toxic for no reason. till this day kpop fans say "you can attack us but please don't attack our idols" but then proceed to attack every member of BTS when they have the opportunity. till this day, people are fcking racist and xenophobic towards BTS, and all the kpop fans and western fans with #/BLM or #/StopAsianHate on their bios, are racist and xenophobic towards them or wont say anything and just look the other way because its BTS. they are a bunch of hypocrites. and if we call them out, for obvious reasons, we are called toxic and crazy. being an army is hard, ngl, but honestly, i'm glad i stan BTS, they've made me grow as a person so much and be able to stand up for myself. they are some of the strongest people i've ever encounter. and honestly being an army is one of the best things that could've ever happened to me, i've found my best friends through twt and they are all armys. and i absolutely admire the respect and love BTS and Army have for one another. and i'll always say this, people don't stan BTS just for their music and talents (which we really love, admire and appreciate), we stan them because they are them, because Namjoon is Namjoon, because Jin is Jin, because Yoongi is Yoongi, because Hobi is Hobi, because Jimin is Jimin, because Tae is Tae and because Jungkook is Jungkook. they are seven humble, respectful, genuine, unique and very talented guys that have worked very hard to grow, and the fact that they reciprocate the love we give them makes being an army just wonderful. they are the people that make me the happiest person on earth. edit: here's the whit paper project if u want to read it: whitepaperproject.com/en.html
Exactly..Many bts fans still refuse to listen to other groups, part of which that the k-pop community itself alienated armys and bts with the calls of "removing bts from k-pop" in 2017, up today with k-pop fans still belittling newer fans for being armys.. I'll never forget what Armys hv to go through, specially during 2016/17, the hate was unbelievable, left permanent scars..till this day you'll see microaggression from k-popies whenever anything related to BTS or Army is mentioned.. till this day..
@@aishwaryaahirrao yup, like we even have our independence day because kpopies "kicked" BTS and Army out of the kpop community, so we turned the tables and even made Namjoon our president 🤝
tbh, it was quite the battle, i was both and army and a fan of *** during the time where there was more heat and it was absolutely brutal. most of these moments broke my spirit because they were just so unfair.
please correct me if i'm wrong but that year when they didn't get a waiting room in the broadcast center was the same year they got their first Album Of The Year right lol
and it all just keeps going, we're just constantly dealing with it. exhausting but we keep doing it for bts. but this is why it's grating when outsiders insert themselves into "fanwars" really, we have years and years of bad blood with the idol industry and other groups' fans and people love putting their foot in it assuming it's just petty squabbling but some of the things done to bts are simply unforgivable and we and bts never receive apologies for them either 😬😬😬
Yes, Xceleste's work is exceptionally good. Thank you for watching this You didn't react very much at all, and I thought this might be because you had some awareness of some of these facts already. That's OK. One thing no one seems to mention anywhere is the amount of hate that ARMYs actually got - and still get in certain places. I have been told by those who were there that in the early years it got really bad in Korea - they couldn't go into music stores without harassment or threats, and I suspect that those who were in school were probably bullied there as well. They said it got pretty frightening. I suspect that that experience fed into ARMYs sometimes overplayed defence of BTS - they take it personally for a good reason - it has in fact been directed personally at them - maybe still are being bullied. That means that just maybe, ARMY are not actually over-reactive. Maybe they are meeting fire with fire - and the people who provoke them should stop doing it. I've not experienced it, thankfully - and I don't use those platforms which are known to have haters ... for my mental health to be honest. But, while I dislike when ARMYs drop on someone perhaps too aggressively - because that seems to be what that someone wants - I can perhaps understand the strength of the reaction, given the abuse ARMY themselves have had to face. I do wish that commenters might cover this aspect of ARMYdom too.
I did know quite a bit of what was told, many of you have commented most of the big stuff bts went through. Also since the topic was not easy to listen to, I wanted to show respect and listen carefully and soak it in, so pausing was at a minimum. Thank you for watching!
Their lyrics were tame by any measure ...It was a bogus claim...They just outsmarted them by taking responsibility ...leaving them nowhere to go with it
I used to be a K-Pop hater but I couldn't understand why haters do such things. When I hate on K-pop before, all I did was NOT listen to any K-pop songs and kept my nose off their business. Before I became an ARMY, I really don't want to be engaged with anything K-pop related but never did I ever waste my time hating on them on social media. Although I don't really love K-pop much 'til now, I opened my mind to BTS which is kind of shocking to me how I, once a K-pop hater, learned to love BTS so much.
And again, as the video says, the year 2021 was heavy in terms of racism that BTS received via the media and the industry, if there is a 2022 update, it will be heavy, especially with the Grammys in two weeks.
I’m a woman over my 50s and I saw how hard and difficult and it’s been for BTS since they started …. I love they music, personality, they are so humble, so honest, so talented, I don’t understand way it’s to much heated over to them ,
Omg the rage I felt during the whole video it's literally made want to cry there was so much I didn't know my poor babys suffered a lot and that made love and admire them more . Army forever BTS forever i will wait until 2025
You will appreciate this, the boyband who were being interviewed near the end and thought a western boyband needs to be at the top; their name is Forever in your Mind. Ironic right? Who are they and who knows them! BTS fighting!💜
And then you assume their lyrics were actually misogynistic. Lol. They apologized for something that wasn't true because they took the moral high ground.
Their is a really good video to get to know RM on the channels Asian culture and entertainment. She talks about some of the hate and false accusations that RM got. It is really good. I recommend checking it out.
@ destructive media, as far as BTS being misogynistic that is not 100% accurate they were accused falsely of many things that song “I don’t know what you have react to it “war of hormone” was not a misogynistic song(my opinion! ) I miss treatment that these young men got throughout their beginnings was just a crime I mean this one guy particularly a host of the flower crew I bet you he’s really eating his words now that he sees how big BTS is worldwide phenomenon! And as far as these underground rappers where are they now still going to spew hate! Most people that spew hate are less talented in the music industry and they have nothing but jealousy to guide them! And as far as BTS wearing make up on the stage that all people wear make up when they go in front of a camera! BTS are the most humble talented people in this world that are spreading knowledge through their music and lyrics talking about “map of the soul “ by Carl Jung giving insight on your persona, your shadow and your ego that no one has in the industry really touched on talking about to love yourself to respect yourself and others in their music what is there to really argue and pick a part in such heat! It is beyond me as a full fledge 8 1/2 year ARMY! And those who say that they are army and they are critical and criticize their own army as well as BTS are not true fans! Of anything that we learned from BTS is to love each other to love yourself to bring positivity in the world to be an extension of what BTS sing and do in their everyday lives as performers and artist! OK I know that I’m going on a tangent here but it just gets me so angry every time see BTS hardships video reactions! And all I love where my life has led since I’ve met BTS I have become more positive and I have respect myself and others more and I’ve learned from BTS! One thing about the fandom we love each other no matter how old we are, what race we come from what religion what jobs we go to every day we are such a universal international fandom that no other fandom from any musical artist can brag about where are you going to find preteens to grandparents that listen and speak Korean and go to the concerts together! Thank you for your reaction alway thank you for this journey that you were going on and we will continue to support! BoraHae 💜 means “I Purple U”💜
Thx for reviewing xCeleste’s compilation for this updated version! ps: looking forward to you continuing the series you started,… yah,.. Rise of Bangtan!
The song V was singing is titled Loser. I think it was the topic of the song that made it easy for people to accuse him of something he was innocent of. I am a fan of BigBang too and I believe Loser was still a very popular song at the time this happened.
yeah, it was big then. xCeleste should have put that in, but I think she wanted to emphasize Tae's innocence. It doesn't make sense without knowing the title, tho. She does let that bias in sometimes! hehe
@@flyushkifly V's screenshot of "Loser" is very clear. It's not hard to guess what he was singing. Rosan was not doing it because of bias or anything like that.
@@EvieKng we can agree to disagree. 😊 Her screenshot was clearly presented - but implicit. She didn't describe the misunderstanding verbally, just said he didn't insult them at all. As we all know, many people have a hard time following verbal, written, and visual simultaneously. Of the dozens of reactions I've seen, no reactors comment on the name of the song and how people might misinterpret Tae's singing, even though his intent was innocent. Have you? Point me their way and I'll change my stats to 99%.😉 She does this in other instances, as well. I'll use the topic of military enlistment as an example. This instance was in their favor, but it is the same setup as the Loser event. When she described the new law and its requirements, she showed pictures of BTS accepting the medals and trophies for the Hwagwan Order of Cultural Merit, but did not say explicitly they were the only idol recipients at that time who met the law's new parameters. In this case, it was a bit of a brag without bragging, and ARMY understand the irony right away, but viewers unfamiliar with what was going on in the pics might not. If we were watching her videos together, i'd talk your ear off. Lol I've watched her excellent videos for 3.5 years, and know her style well. 👍
One thing worth pointing out while watching this video is the fanwars and "anti" culture. I seriously couldn't understand why people hated BTS so much until I realized that fandoms, specifically in Asia, fights among each other. When a specific group/individual artist is starting to rise, the fandom of the current popular group will fight to make sure their group stay at the top. Most of the hates from the early days are from other fandoms. There's a lot of toxicity and unfortunately, Army is not excluded. As big as Army is as a fandom, you can't escape having some odd balls although I believe that Army, in general, is loving! BTS may have seem like an anomaly. First of all, they came from a small company. In Asian culture, working for a big and known company is something to be proud of whereas the west is more distrusting of big corporations and more supportive of small businesses. So BTS coming from an almost-bankrupt label is laughable. Can you imagine how surprised many were with the successes BTS was getting? Accusing them of sajaegi/ buyback album seem more realistic. While groups like EXO were dominating the Asian market, BTS was marketing worldwide. In my opinion, not because they planned it but rather because the Asian market is monopolized by the big 3 companies. It was extremely hard for them to break through. My friends in Asia couldn't understand, at first, why BTS was so big in the US. In fact, most of my friends in Asia are BTS haters/antis. BTW, I lived in the US for over 15 years and did not really pay attention to k-pop until BTS. What may seem unique to western consumers such as Run BTS and story lines through MVs isn't really unique in k-pop. Also, k-pop is filled with many excellent dancers and singers. What made BTS stood out the most is their sincerity towards their music, each other and Army. They weren't afraid to write songs about social injustices. It might've been seen negatively especially to older conservatives in Korea. One of my anti friend explained that she thinks BTS personalities seems over the top and it may be true coming from some conservative Asians where being "shy" is considered an ideal personality. Another friend explained that she hates Dynamite, Butter and PTD because it's so pop-ish but for many American consumers, these songs are tribute to MJ and nostalgic to the Motown era. The same friend also told me that she hated how disrespectful and cocky some of the rapline songs are. Many Asian consumers are not familiar with hiphop culture, most especially the cyphers. Asians in general are non-confrontational and the cyphers are distasteful. Sentimental ballad songs still dominate the Asian market, no matter the country. It was really hard for my friends to understand BTS. Now, at least many of them, can respect their unparalleled achievements worldwide. They also bring Asian representation worldwide. As an Asian, how could you hate that?! But trust me.. I still know quite a bit of antis especially the ones who's been k-pop fans for awhile. They either hate BTS because they surpassed their fave group or they they just couldn't understand BTS the way the rest of the world does. 🤷♀️
i wanted to correct you on a few things most of the stuff bts did wasnt done before in kpop the storylines werent done the way bts did them. kpop groups have storylines more because of bts. i find it funny how theyre not familiar with hip hop culture but almost every kpop group has rappers and the whole korean hip hop scene exists outside of kpop. i think thats just a excuse they were hating bts for mostly no reason because all rappers diss especially if someone's disses them first which bts were responding to people they didnt start it. so really they wanted to be able to tear down bts but when bts responded they got upset because how dare the lower class respond. thats why bts proudly call themselves baepsae and underdogs and dirt spoons theyre reclaiming that. they know exactly why people hate them which is why the cyphers hit nerves. the cyphers were some of the best things bts done theyre just mad bts didnt take their shit anymore.
I have a giant respect for Bang Pd, if we as fans get angry about unfair treatment, I can't imagine how he felt that he decided to create an empire so that BTS doesn't have to depend on traditional media so they weren't mistreated anymore and after creating Hybe, he made sure that BigHit remains fully independent and so no one can treat them just as one more asset of a company
I hate that one with JK on that variety show…he was so young and these were adults being so rude…of course they are nice to BTS now, they’re huge….I guess there’s no reason for bts to hold grudges, being the amazing guys they are, but I think I would. 💜💜💜it’s also crazy to me the lengths other fandoms will go to to make bts and army look like terrible people…(breakwings project…why???u seriously have nothing better to do🤦♀️
me too whenever i see this video i will take jk hug him and tell him to forget this rude guy and how precious he is to Army. And that guy? yes my head knew we should not hold grudge against him but my heart always said take him and slap him for what he did to this innocent and kindhearted boy
After these very heavy topics, "The Most Beautiful Life Goes On: A Story of BTS" would be a nice addition, where TheAsianTheory first briefly tells the members and then the story of BTS, with a nice overview of their albums and musical numbers. It's definitely worth a look.
Hi there! First, thank you for your reaction. Don't worry if you didn't pause the video and comment that much. You do you at your rhythm. As long as it permits you to take better in the informations. Why would we be mad? You did great! 😊 Second, I know haters gonna hate. But some stuff I really can't get over it or understand the logic behind it. Like death treads against artists during a world tour literally named " LOVE YOURSELF". What the heck is wrong with you world?!? 🤦🏻♀️ I'm so glad BTS stayed strong (and still stays strong) and ARMY having their back and supporting them with all their strength. Also for the song "UGH!" the Rap-line did talking and addressing this social fenomenon and issue, about useless and exproportionate hate in the world thrown at everyone and in every direction randomly...it's really sad to witness (and not only in BTS's case)... This comment is already way to long haha. Sorry if their are some mistakes English is only my 3rd language. Greetings from France/Germany🇫🇷🇩🇪 by an 33 Year old ARMY 🖖🏻 Like Jimin would say : "You Nice! Keep Going!" 💜
I watched this video when I was just becoming and army and it made me respect them even more. It's impressive to know how much they had to overcome... if I could suggest you a video to react, it would be RM's speech at the UN. Thanks for this reaction!
I am proud of our Boys that they did not let this to be the reson to bring them down, and they are doing it right.. they are blessed because they are humble💜💜💜
I don't agree with the misogynistic accusations. I love the song, it's just antis and haters creating issues with everything BTS did. They were put under a microscope while others get away doing the same action in question. I'm ARMY since 2017 and one thing I'm most proud of is ARMY never reciprocate the same vile action because we care what BTS thinks of our actions. I remember multiple fandoms trending hate hashtags against Jimin on his birthday... it's so sad 😭 but ARMY never did the same against the artist of those fandoms. ARMY never trend hate hashtags. I'm proud of u and I purple u ARMY 💜 That's why BTS always say they're proud of ARMY 🤗
ARMYs will do anything and everything to let BTS know how much we are here for them! We will always protect, support, respect and love BTS. It’s very unfortunate for those people who hates and disrespect them coz they’re missing one of the most beautiful blessing in life that is BTS! BTSxARMYS forever!
I loved your reactions, I felt the same way as you. It is unbelievable that they had to go through so much and still have to justify themselves constantly. They are fabulous and I love them, they are a great example of hardwork and perseverance. 💜💜💜 They are very smart and talented.
I’m army since 2017 and this video always makes me think how strong they are Sometimes I think if it were me at the same position I would be able to handle all that so graciously as them. I always be there to support them because they deserve everything they achieved over the years. Thank you for your reaction 💜
Imagine, that's not even 10% of all the hate they've gotten. Both individual members and the group experience aggression and violence on the daily. Most are not caught by them, thank the Maker, but those that are... it breaks our heart that a group THAT kind is hated for absolutely no reason.
I cried soo much when I first saw that incident when they said Jk brought them leftovers & turnes it down...he was soo young, it must have been so hard on him mentally & emotionally..🥺😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
This video show so much but still so little.... When they put out their statment about Asian hate it was sad to read, like we know that they see and hear a lot, that they are more aware of their surroundings than it might seem. We as fandom always joke that they have ears and eyes everywere but it is more true they we think... I think they had to bite their toungue more often then we are aware of, they show humility more often then anyone. About songs...... I mean you can tell yourself when you hear "War of hormone" if it really was that bad bc I have nothing on this song, a lot goes also to translation never can be 100 % acurate, but still this song is about ~20 years Boys talking about their hormones, it is true, very tame if you look at worlds music and in some way innocent. I honestly think that people that look for misogyny in it simply really want to see it like that, and see more then Boys wanted to say, this is very in face song but people see there some deep stuff and hate for women (where?). As a women I never thought there is something wrong with "War of hormones" or "Boy in love", że this songs are in albums from school era for reson - they were in school or short after graduation... I think this was not fair situation, even if someone really feel offended, this should be this big case but it was made to be big case bc BTS situation was becoming better and better. We will see when you watch "War of hormone" and "Boy in love" what you see... I simply think that this situation was made bigger then nessesery. Also it is logical that they said "sorry" and take this and learn, it was smart thing to do, so this will not happen again, and to show that they care, and as public figure sometimes you have to let go of rights and wrongs and act professional.
I have so much respect for these guys. I would've broken down a long time ago. There's been several incidents even since this video was made in the summer of 2021. 💔
5 fandoms teamed up against Bts with 2 big groups in the lead. Bts were rising stars, gradually getting bigger, and I think other fandoms were threatened by the monstrous growth of Bts, knowing their idols place as number 1 in the industry was soon going to be flipped over. As a really famous singer in Korea once said "True superstars make gga(haters) and bba(fans) go crazy". Well... ha for them:)
My country is considered foreign friendly. We welcome everyone and we are well known for that. But strangely, i have to defend BTS most of the times against prejudice. It's tiring and makes me so mad. 🙄😡 But I will defend them every single time. 💜
Ahh and also I think it is sad that fans of different groups go on this wars bc Bands usually are good with each other, I don't say all are friends and all that, but all groups understand industry and work that goes into life of Idol. (of course not always but usually are all on at lest neutral terms....) we have also remember that in Idol world it is not good to show to much emotions towards another groups too nice and rumors go, and fans go crazy, to hostile and the same. Like winning awards, we as fans knows what groups xCelest bipped out, but this bands always congratulate, clap or give a smile, of course as a artist you want to win but that dosen't mean you hate winners, but fans saw it this way.... Another example when BTS was starting to be popular, rapper from Idol group that was big and was part of big3 dissed RM in his song, and this was not first time that he diss someone from up coming group, but he never dissed any rapper from groups under any of big3. There was interview later in some program this rapper was in it with his company director and some people or so and host asked him way he did this why RM and 2 another people, what they did to diss them, and this guy didn't say a word but told host to "ask ceo" and ceo said that this is hip hop way it is normal to diss others. like really? The guy could even answer question, bc in reality he didn't have anything to say the diss was something taked from air. And it was simply bc they could diss not know rappers, small Idol group, in companies without much power, but war with another big company was no-no. This situation is sick bc for example in real RM and this guy could be friends or so and he had nothing on RM, but he has to diss bc higherups said so. I don't even know if they know earch other, this is simple example how it works in some of this "big" companies. Another example is fact that bc in their second year didn't have money, like xCelest said they were facing bankruptcy, BTS was taking jobs to help company they singed and danced on small events or as backups for another artist, they performed on model show as background music for catwalk, bc company didn't have money to be afloat even for their living (but they still tried and paid for Suga school and etc) but it is also shows BTS trust in company to take gigs like that after debut with some time years on market as a group... Bands from big, rich comapnies didn't have to do this after debut they have place to live and place to practice and do their job - be idols, all their time gone into music, dance, etc. Of course they were in training system and it was hard time but after debut they didn't have to care, company promote them with all power aven before debute when it was sure that someone will be in band for sure then there were promotion like feature on song with well know artist, or they were in some show as a friend of this big artist or in vlogs with famous idol, name was then know and when info come that new group will debut people were interested bc they saw this person before. BTS did their own promotion with this vlogs that you saw few and some covers on YT, but it was on them. So for sure there is difference between groups, were they started, how they are seen as, and how they are/were treated. Even now being big and all that, there are people still looking at them as this lower band bc from they come. But still fan wars are so unnecessary.
I can understand that someone does not like the music of BTS or any member for x reason, but what I will never understand is that they hate them, how are you going to hate people who only deliver positive things and that they invest hours and hours of their lives just to hate, if you don't like something, move on with your life and that's it, it's not necessary to waste time on something you don't like at the end of the day it does not bring anything positive to their lives,Isn't it better to invest that time in something that they like and makes them happy?
Envy, jealousy and insecurity are pretty strong emotions of negativity that could consume people and push them to use any means necessary just to bring someone down. So imagine if a multitude of people got together to rain a barrage of negativity to this group of passionate, talented young men and you get h@t3rs. It is truly a wonder that the Tannies soldiered on and oh, how they soldiered on. But you know, what comes around goes around. Sometimes, even tenfold. I love your reactions. You are very calm and soothing to watch. Borahae
Do you remember RM saying that they would be a group that Army could be proud of? It was for those hardships since their debut (plagiarism rumors). There are an interview where Suga and the members says they were aware of the difficulty of their fans in their daily life for the mere fact of being Army. So they show their love in actions, songs and shows as a thank you to Army who persevered and to the new Army too.
wrote this before you said that you liked eminem back in high school but fun fact the very first album yoongi had bought was an eminem album when he was 12-13!! his parents didn't mind he said because they didn't understand the lyrics anyways hehe
That's why next sunday all of ARMY will watch the Gr@mmys through livestreams done by other ARMY. We, as a fandom, are tired of being used for ratings only for the same media to backstab and degrade BTS as well as ARMY.
"Mistake" is a bit harsh. We are talking about "War of Hormones". Part of this is a mistranslation of comparing women to equations: the not quiet real translations said something about boys "doing them" and "solve them" would have been more correct. They also called women "treasure" or something like that. To add we are talking about a country were the word feminism is still equated with "men hating". As a result an accusation like that can destroy a woman's career. Female athlets, Idols and other entertainers more or less regulary go to press conferences to confirm - with conviction - that they are NOT feminists. In winter 2020/2021 an official paper was discussed - a bit antiquated even for SK - so they made fun of it, too - were pregnant women were told what to do before going to hospital to give birth: Like pre-cooking for weeks and freezing it and making sure their husbands had telefon numbers and knew how to order food. A book called "Kim Jiyoung, Born 1982" describes what is a more or less typical life of a SK women. Consequentially women that admit to reading it get a lot of hate. The hate came form International fans of other groups mainly, kind of like a campain. No fan would do it like that. But Namjoon and the other others read up on the topic and came to the conclusion that that may be the status quo but maybe it shouldn't be. The newly elected president seems to plan to get back on some of SK womens rights or so I heard. We will see. Mind you the whole thing hit Namjoon hard and made him wish he was dead. I think the song he packed that into is called "always" or something. In the West they don't even apologize for something they did wrong in East Asia they will apologize for what people think they did wrong. Doesn't matter if it is 100% true or not. SK is competitive as hell. There are reasons for that. The weekly song shows were you can win that lead to CFs, invitation to variety shows, higher sales. We talk about a place that has 4000 official labels/buisnesses that put out albums - not all of them Idol music. There are debuting over 100 Idol groups each year. A lot of them don't survuve their first 100 days as money runs out. I'm not sure it is going better now. The SK market is small. By 2013 - before the rise of Idol music internationally - there were already more than 1 Million counted that wanted to become Kpop singers. (That is/was all in the "Rise of Bangtan"-vids) So it is pretty much a necessarity. Especially if the Idols want to actually earn money and not just to break about even or a little more than necessary while doing a highly demanding job. Funily enough it seems to be true that SM Ent. actually fueled the fire to make their fans attack BTS and ARMY. BTW the full videos that are on this Vid are actually worse. And we do know which fandom is responsible. it is not that much of a secret. The White Paper Project is still online. Thank you for watching! 💜
Hi, I am back. Good reaction, ty. Love Rosan's info vids. In America its racist news channels that's the issue. Like I heard BTS and ignored it. They sometimes showed them on the news. But i ignored all. And I think to myself why? I love anime and Japanese music. Why was I so against BTS? I think it was the little that the news said. They maid me uninterested until I saw a performance and was blown away. Looking into them in 2019 I was so surprised they have done so many interviews here and performed. I was clueless. And they don't play them on the radio in NY. Not until Boy with Luv ft. Halsey. But other cities some of the radio stations actually play them often. So more ppl hear them. Dylan Alvarez a UA-camr did a series in college asking if his classes heard of BTS. And the ans. was always yes. I was so surprised. If u dig deeper some college professors even teach about BTS. Like it's wild and very eye opening. Here in my city there's barely anything. Tsk. i was so disappointed. They are amazing. Hugs. -NY USA 2019 Army💟
i loved ur reaction!!!! if u wanna check out more korean artists, i would recommend day6. they dont dance like most korean groups but they each play instruments and make really good k-rock music! some songs i love by them are Shoot Me, Sweet Chaos, 121U and Headache :))
BTS has definitely been through it. But they are so amazing that they just keep rising above it. Regarding "antis" (anti-fans), I've actually encountered one particularly malicious and devious anti. I won't tell the whole story because it's too long, but my experience leads me to believe that antis aren't only disgruntled fans of other kpop artists. In the hardships video, they mentioned that they believe the kpop machine won't do a lot of coverage on BTS or downplays their achievements while hyping other artists because Big Hit and BTS went around them and still achieved success. I would not doubt if they have people using fake accounts to make BTS and army look bad. Because this person I encountered was a pro. And all it took was a handful of fake accounts and a couple of hours to tarnish BTS and army's reputations to quite a few of Lady Gaga and Arianna's fans. About War of Hormone.... I'm noticing that a lot of people are saying that "I'm an adult and I don't see anything wrong with it" and "U.S. rap artists are doing much worse... why isn't anyone worried about them?" My opinion will be unpopular, but here goes. While I think the guys only intended it to be a humorous song about young guys being led around by their hormones and, while it's also not the worst song objectifying women out there, I definitely can see where it is problematic. They basically come across as every guy ever who follows a girl around catcalling her and commenting on her "see-through clothes" and telling her to wear more high heels and commenting on her body parts as if that is what is most important about a girl. I can understand why all of these people who say they are adults and see nothing wrong.... don't see anything wrong. I am also an adult and grew up with songs objectifying women being the norm, so this does seem tame by comparison. But I've been learning about how these kind of songs affect how girls grow up to see themselves. And I don't want my daughter seeing herself as only a visually pleasing object for a man to drool over. So I, personally, am glad that someone drew their attention to the lyrics. And I'm REALLY glad that the guys took the criticism to heart. The fact that they are willing to grow and learn says a lot about them.
Great reaction! The tannies are more forgiving than I am. For example, the hamburger incident with Jungkook. I will never forgive those people for how they treated him. Even if JK is kind enough to forgive them, I won't. They were adults at the time and the way they behaved showed their true colours. I am all about second chances but it depends on the situation.
It's funny when they were accused of misogyny, well a lot of mainstrram artists have a tons of sh*t on their tracks but NEVER called out. There were tons of 'hardships' throughout the decade they're together. I bet all the things mentioned are just merely 5% of them. But amazing though it covered at least a good overview of what they encountered and still encountering. More hate to people who are rising. I am always emotional when it comes to BTS, their songs arw amazing and has meaning. Who would imgine that those boys will become this big. 💜
They’ve never plagiarized. People call them plagiarism boys because of hair color and clothes, or for wearing school uniforms in their MVs. The school uniform concept is so common in Asia, almost every korean and Japanese group used it. It’s pure bullsht, honestly. They just find reasons to hate on them. They also claim RM plagiarized, but in reality he only quoted one line of lyric from another artist, and it’s in quotation in his lyricism, so I really wouldn’t call that “plagiarism”. People are just unreasonable and they will always find a way to hate
*Warning: going to be long a$$ comment* Let's be real, War of Hormones wasn't misogynistic. It was just an honest song about what guys in that age range go through. They were straight up saying that they struggle with their hormones when they see a pretty girl, and guess what? That's just being honest. The title itself gives a clear idea to how they see it. A war. An internal conflict. And it's true to what guys in their late teens and early 20s go through. Bangtan has always been about talking about their experiences and being a voice of people their age. The entire album, Dark & Wild, was really just about the turmoils of young adulthood. In the title of the album too, you can already tell what the sentiment was going to be. The first 3 albums spoke about school and issues of teens. And then from there, the darker days of coming to terms with adulthood. And then the HYYH series. Everything was thematic with stories they wanted to tell as they go through life. Antis and fans of other groups were just grasping at straws to find something to shit on and unfortunately the media picked up on it and then some ARMY took it as truth and they themselves started talking as if the song was offensive. It isn't. We need to stop spreading this story as if BTS were misogynistic boys who needed to learn a lesson. Yes, Namjoon has learned a lot from the experience and has gone out of his way to speak to experts in women's studies, but I'm sure that whole ordeal also caused him unnecessary pain. I don't see anything wrong with the lyrics of the song. All boys go through puberty and the things BTS sung in this are just reflective of their experience going through that phase in their lives. This is the reason I love them and their songs.. they didn't hide anything and covered all the feelings/thoughts of a person who is in his/her adolescent...one can see them growing up from then till today…I personally don't find the lyrics offensive and “most” Armys as well..as I agree they are expressing the struggles of dealing with hormonal changes in adolescence, and I'm sorry but sexual attraction is the number one pressing issue in most hormonal teens regardless of gender. There's a couple of issues I take with people who found this offensive. First, the double standard. You can't tell me young women were purely innocent in their thoughts and feelings as they watched these young men dance and sing, they just didn't make a song about it, at least not publicly. Secondly, the entire concept BigHit wanted from BTS is a representation of the youth culture and the issues youth deal with as seen and heard through the lyrics and music of BTS, and of course everyone has or will experience sexual attraction. Yes, they refer to see through clothing and high heels etc, but I've seen hundreds of posts referring to JK's abs, Jimin's body rolls and shoulder "accidents" Tae's tongue...you get the idea, and while many comments aren't necessarily teens it's not a problem. There can only be an issue if the lyrics were implying that I'm only attracted to girls who wear heels and sheer clothing, not sneakers and sweats. Anyone who has experienced adolescence knows however that if they're sexually attracted to someone the person could easily walk around in a potato sack and an adolescent would still be entranced. A lot of people were offended by that line, "Girls are equations and us men just do them". Personally, I took it as "do them" meant they were puzzles to be solved, not a sexual act. RM was honestly shocked that people were offended by the lyrics and that they could be considered misogynistic. It was definitely a learning experience for him. He apologized and has since run his lyrics through a few professionals in women's studies before releasing a new song. They don't really release songs like this any more. But to that a korean Army said translation in English were a bit off, which lead to misunderstandings and explained it saying : “I was kinda surprised it's translation was "do" because that part "do them" CAN actually sound offensive to some people, because the meaning of that word 'do' is not clear. However I can clearly say that it's not meant that way, and Korean version lyrics tell that. Words are more specific, and not controversial in Korean version lyrics, because it doesn't say 'do. That part in Korean is 여자들은 방정식 우리 남자들은 해 which says we men are 해 is a word for mathematics, and it means the 'answer/the final number'. So it means they solve. the complex minds of the girls. 해 DOES have the meaning of 'do' too, but its not appropriate to translate this part of the lyrics that way, because if u say it means "do them, it doesn't fit the sentence there. Since there's no Objectives for that Verb 'do' and that's... kinda awkward. plus. the context and meaning of the whole sentence is talking abt mathematics and Equations so what u said is true. It doesn't mean sexual way” BTS hv made few mistakes unknowingly early in their career and said things which can be considered offensive, as they were young but they hv re-educated themselves, apologized and never repeated the mistakes again..but I hv seen many k-popies and so called Multi Armys twisting many things because of that..take for example this song.. it's blown out of the proportion just to cause drama..and they were sadly successful in that..haters/antis tried every lil thing to bring BTS down & sabotage their career ngl..
This still peeves me - misogynistic? Why cos they said girls look good in heels and crop tops and are the greatest gift to mankind and are math equations to be solved while in a song that makes clear it's about teenage boys fighting with their hormones? Gaaaah as a girl who grew up in the west on songs all telling me I should be grinding on guys in a bikini and belong in the kitchen, how come these guys received the hate~
The reason they took offense over V singing that song from BigBang the song was called "Loser". The song is fantastic but the first few lyrics are Loser, loner. A coward who pretends to be tough. A mean delinquent. in the mirror, your a loser loner. This song is a song of self reflection by Big Bang but others took offense because they thought V was calling others losers. Something that the sensitive V would never do. I really don't think they did those songs as mysognistic, they were speaking as young men speaking from the point of view of a young boy in school full of horomones. So many though find fault where they can. Some people are very hard fans of other groups and there is the idea among fans, "if this group gets good, then it will make my group look worse", or "my group is the best so I don't want this group to top them in any way".
War of Hormone is a great song. They were just young men and at that age they do think about the opposite sex lots. Trying to become idols with those hormones raging and beautiful girls everywhere is a war of hormones. Compared to western artists who write the most disrespectful and vile misogynistic lyrics War of Hormone is very very tame. It's not misogynistic in fact it's the opposite what did people want BTS to do walk round with blindfolds on in case they looked at a girl. They were doing what guys at their age do they certainly weren't going round thinking about algebra and the meaning of life. Some people are unforgiving and are also hypocrites. The way BTS were so badly mistreated is an absolute crime and they should be publicly apologised to on national TV. Now you understand why ARMY are protective and will do anything to protect them. 💜
Well I managed to get through it with you. Last time I watched someone react to this I had to watch in 2 parts. Good info, well put together and edited, but always a hard watch. Thanks for sharing your reaction Bryan 💜 As Ive heard from others before in comments, including Koreans, the hardships video only covers a very small percentage of what they have had to deal with and what it does cover it only touches on briefly. I kind of wish XCeleste provided more explanation on some of the issues, but then it would be even longer and I think it's long enough for the topic.
Personally the whole accusation about the lyrics it a bit bs to me. I don't find it bad at all and actually really like the song and i think it was taken out of context or at least forced into the bad context. There are many many many songs by other artist that are 100x worse with their lyrics about women yet they don't seem to be getting any flak about it. Especially in the Western music industry
Hey I don’t know if you’ve heard WOH or BIL yet (can’t remember if you reacted to those yet), to us in the west it’s tame. I have said this under other posts but I don’t know if you read those too. South Korea being much more conservative, maybe they thought it was too much. However I can’t help but wonder if this was just because they were picked on overly so because they weren’t part of a big company. I don’t know a lot of other kpop songs, so I don’t know. But I didn’t think they were misogynistic, I didn’t see any hatred of women in these songs. BIL may have been seen as a little aggressive in trying to court a girl in school, but from the song I get the feeling the girl is playing a bit hard to get. It’s somewhat immature but what can you expect with a “school” themed trilogy? The MV does show Jin throwing the girl up against a locker, which he felt bad about doing, but that was what the director wanted. Boy With Luv does show the softer, more mature way to court a girl and should show the growth of their adulthood. I’ll be waiting for someone to say “but it’s about ARMY!!” but I think these songs can have double meanings. War Of Hormone to me was just a tongue in cheek mocking of themselves about the “war” with testosterone during their sexual prime. It’s basic biology right? Sure you could say it “objectified” women, but at the same time whenever a man describes what he finds physically attractive about a woman is seen as objectifying. It’s just our nature to have physical attraction. Men are objectified too. Some of the same people who got on this bandwagon objectify the boys sexually all the time. At that point I just don’t want to hear it. Lol Check them out if you haven’t, as a woman who grew up with far worse on the radio, it doesn’t bother me. South Korea being more conservative, or they just got picked on for doing the same things the bigger companies did, I don’t know. There was a song released in 2000 called “Coming of Age Ceremony” by female artist Park Ji-yoon. It’s about a young girl who has decided to have sex for the first time with a man who’s been waiting for her to “mature”. This song was considered very racy at the time and still is to some extent, but looking at the lyrics it was classy, it wasn’t crude or anything. She got a lot crap about it, felt like she embarrassed her parents because their church played the video saying “THIS is what is wrong with pop culture!”. But it has been credited as being the gateway to women in the industry of today who can put on a more sexy persona. Many girl groups these days have covered the song, even Jungkook and Jimin did the dance routine for it. So SK is evolving, albeit slowly. In the end BTS survived all the crap and criticism thrown at them in their first few years to become what they are now. Which is really funny. The industry tried to stifle them, but would never work.
There is an excellent video on the matter of racism and the situation with the German radio host called 'BTS, Coldplay, a German Radio Presenter and the Racism Problem' ua-cam.com/video/f4ukx4ok9W8/v-deo.html it's by a channel called ComedianReacts another reactor I watch. I highly recommend it to anyone who hasn't seen it. In the video he talks about racism but also briefly touches on other 'isms' as well and covers the situation that occurred with the German radio presenter and his "apology". His video as well as providing real comments about 'the situation that occured' is incredibly honest and introspective, as he shares details about his own experiences, past behaviour and observations about the racist behaviour of humans in general, how racism is perpetuated in society and what we as individuals can and should do. I havnt seen anyone else do a video on this matter or to this extent and I appreciate him so much for doing it. 💜
That guy in Germany said he can’t be accused of being xenophobic, he has a really cool Korean car! Kind of sounds like “I’m not racist, I have a black friend” huh? So here I am thinking he’s got a Hyundai or a Kia or something. Come to find out he may have a Daihatsu Copen which was seen on his social media, which is Japanese. 🙄 I admit ARMY can be a little too sensitive at times, to the point where I say ok, calm down (which I usually get yelled at for, no matter how nice I am about it). I’ve knocked heads with ARMY on things that I felt they shouldn’t have done if I felt it was too much. However with this German radio show host, that was pretty disgusting and he deserved the ire he got. Calling them a virus we need a vaccine for, in a time when Asians are experiencing heightened hate crimes because of Covid no less. Saying they should have a 20 yr “vacation” in North Korea? Nah that dude was totally out of line. He doesn’t own “Fix You”, so why he took that cover so personally I’ll never know. If someone covers a classic song that means a lot to me and I don’t like it, I just don’t listen to that version. I’m not going to hate on the band, that’s stupid. There was nothing BTS did to that song that didn’t honor it’s legacy. Chris Martin said he loved it, then he did a collaboration with them, so this guy was totally wrong. I think he thought he was being edgy but really just racist and xenophobic. Jimmy Kimmel decided in his infinite wisdom to include BTS in jokes about Covid, not smart. I’ll give an example of something I get into conflicts with ARMY on that I thought was over the top. When the documentary for “My Universe” came out, which is the collaboration BTS did with Coldplay, some saw something they didn’t like. Pdogg, that’s one of their producers, said something to Jin I feel they took the wrong way. It may have been mostly a bunch of Jin solo stans who were not happy that Jin didn’t get more parts in the song, I’m not sure. Unfortunately solo stans exist, they hate all the other members and just pick one. Constantly complain the band is holding them back and they should go solo. These people are pretty toxic and to be fair, not really considered ARMY. Some claimed to be a fan of everyone but when you don’t know people online you don’t know if they are telling the truth. Anyway, Jin delivered his line for the song and Pdogg said “you practiced a lot, didn’t you?”. Now I didn’t sense any sarcasm, I felt it was a compliment, Jin sang the line perfectly, his English pronunciation was awesome, there was absolutely nothing to criticize there. They thought Pdogg was picking on him. They flooded his IG saying he should be fired. That was not ok. Did they really think if Pdogg said something negative that they would include that, knowing how protective the fan base is? Not on your life. So it’s things like that where I clash with either solo stans or ARMY. Believe me, if I think BTS are being disrespected, I’m right there to defend them. I just won’t do it when it’s silly.
Hi! From my own experience, most armys are like you. But this is a big fandom and there is every kind of us. It is good to know how to separate the solostans from the ones who are really army. That Pdogg incident definetely was mostly a solo stan issue or baby army who didnt know better yet. Real armys know the boys and know their staff and know appreciation they have for each others and the family like community that they have with their staff. Bts tease and laugh to each others and make jokes and their staff also does that. It might be a wrong approach, but Ive cleaned my timelime from the toxic fans and rarely get anything negative there any more. If there is a bigger issue that impacts Bts themselves, I will hear about it from my reasonable army friends, I will ignore most other drama 💜💜
@@tinaaikaa77 most ARMY are reasonable I agree, probably a good 90+%. All fan bases have their toxic element for whatever reason, that’s just the way it goes. The fan base is so huge that it just can seem like a lot sometimes. Especially on Twitter. But it was just so funny because they said even Chris Martin looked shocked. Um no, he had a basic resting face and the man doesn’t speak Korean. Lol He had no idea what pdogg said just then at that moment and it wasn’t translated to him in those few seconds that scene had. It just blew my mind. It just goes to show people see things differently, depending on their viewpoint and biases. The solo stans were already mad about Jin only have one line so that just pushed them over the edge. I do see a lot of people complain about line distribution, just like that situation, probably mostly baby ARMY or solo stans. Most of us know they themselves decide the lines, there isn’t some overlord deciding it for them and purposefully screwing members out of lines. That’s another thing I end up in arguments about. But I would think that if anyone in the staff was disrespectful to any member, they’d be tossed out on their ear. I don’t think the members would put up with that. Pdogg has been there since the beginning, whatever dynamic they have I’m sure is great otherwise he wouldn’t be there. I just felt so bad for him that day. It’s sometimes hard, being an ARMY, trying to reign in the silliness and talk them down but I’ve learned that rarely works out in my favor lol. They don’t really listen, they’re mad so I just have to let it die down, you know? I’m the sort of person who likes to calm people down in situations, help them see it a different way so they won’t be so mad, so they don’t flood social media accounts like pdogg. However again, when it comes to just the toxic element that doesn’t work well. Lol I think most of the good ones have learned like you to just avoid them entirely because I’m usually working alone in my quest. I can’t say I blame any of them. Lol Far more awesome ARMY out there. I come across the good ones more often but because they are reasonable, they aren’t the ones I need to calm down, because I’ll be mad too! Then we forge together to defend BTS. I just sometimes wonder if BTS ever think “why are they mad now?”, when it comes to the stuff that’s an overreaction lol. But I think mostly they just appreciate the support, even if it may be a little misguided at times. 💜💜
@@OwnedByKitties I totally agree! Most reasonable ones probably are drawing away from certain conflict cause, like youve said, they dont listen and you will only make yourself angry and frustrated. But there is allways baby army and those who just dont know all the details yet, but are willing to learn. For those ofc it is good if someone has the time and patience to teach them 💜 🥰 Its just like... choose your battles, lol! Dont wear yourself down with battling against windmills 💜
Jin situation was absolutely done by solo stans..you know what, being army for yrs, as much i don't like haters & antis, i h@te solo stans tbh, yes..i know h@te is a big word but from my personal experiences, solo stans of any member are the worst, specially maknae line solo stans..solo stans & $exual shippers are like disease to any Fandom out there in my opinion
@@aishwaryaahirrao OMG don’t even get me started on the shippers! Lol 🤬 I have had more run ins with them than anyone else. And look, I don’t care if people ship them as friends/brothers/subunits, in that case I ship them ALL, in all the different combinations you could think of lol. Even if someone ships them romantically but they have both feet firmly on the ground of reality and know it’s most likely just a fantasy, ok I still don’t get it but whatever. Most of those shippers aren’t toxic because they aren’t emotionally invested and they respect all ships and don’t participate in ship wars. But as you say, the sexual shipping that can go into believing the couple is real, which brings on a ton of unacceptable behavior. That’s where I draw the line. I don’t care if it’s shipping with members within the group or shipping them with other girl idols, I’m not being homophobic or heteronormative. What I hate is the ASSUMPTIONS of sexual orientation and who they date, regardless of the type of relationship. The boys expect light shipping like what I described above, it’s all part of the culture. What they don’t want I’m very sure is this toxic level of almost like they are trying to “out” them as couples, forgetting that where they live, it could be career ending. Every interaction between the ship of their choice is seen in a romantic context, not paying attention that if we went by their standards, a case could be made for many relationships in the band. When you watch all the different analysis videos on UA-cam, they all look the same to me. I don’t watch them anymore, I don’t want to give them views and they infuriate me. Especially when they assume the boys are toxic, possessive and jealous boyfriends. Those videos are just terrible all around. I find it really creepy and exploitative how they analyze every move, word or breath they make. A lot of their “evidence” is either broad assumptions of what the members are thinking/doing, imposing western stereotypes on eastern men, a total lack of understanding a different culture, bad translations, or things taken totally out of context. Then you have the fan art that ranges from romantic to pornographic. Something happened recently that made me the most angry I have ever been. Jungkook’s brother was tagged on his IG these shipping pictures, some pretty pornographic. I don’t know how anyone could possibly think, regardless of their real relationships, that a man would want to see his brother w/ his band mates in such images. That’s just disgusting. Now usually when I get mad about things like that, ARMY says those are antis. Now I’m sure that’s true to an extent, but all fandoms have their toxic element and ARMY is no exception. I looked at a couple of their accounts and they didn’t look like antis to me. It’s possible some were, but if we didn’t have those images plastered all over the internet they wouldn’t have them to send unless they made them themselves - which they probably wouldn’t do if shipping wasn’t taken so seriously. Some of the more egregious ones got removed because they were mass reported, but no one has tagged him in a while so he must be limiting who can tag him now, wonder why?? 🙄 On one hand I’m relieved, but on the other, he shouldn’t have had to do that. Leave the families out of it for the sake of all that’s precious in the world! He’s probably wondering why he thought it was safe to open another account publicly. He’s had to delete accounts in the past as it is. Then you have ship wars within and outside the fandom, with all sides just as delulu as the next, calling each other delusional. Nobody is looking rational in that whole scenario. Then you have the ones who hate on members when the ship they don’t prefer gets a “moment”, Jimin, Tae & Jungkook seem to get the brunt of this because the shipping in the maknae line is the worst. “Jimin is making Jungkook uncomfortable, he’s so needy” it’s like, STFU! Nobody is uncomfortable and so what if Jimin is lovable? They’re just pissed it wasn’t a Taekook moment. They’ll get more! Along with Jikook, VMin and all the others lol. Other comments can be a lot worse but I’m not repeating those. I usually leave them alone because they are really not up for a serious talk but when they are deliberately misleading, I have to say something. The latest example was the “ring” incident at one of the concerts in Seoul. You probably saw this. Tae picked up a ring off the floor, he either knew it was Jungkook’s or wasn’t sure but he tried to give it to him. Jungkook drops it on the floor accidentally. That’s the context, nothing more, nothing less. They were running around on Twitter saying they just got engaged and in front of their families and the world! 😵💫 Did we watch the same footage? You’d think Tae got down on one knee, held the ring up and asked “will you marry me?”. Forgetting gay marriage is illegal in Korea. 🤦🏼♀️ Sure they could get married in Las Vegas like they were surmising, still wouldn’t be legal in Korea. Not to mention it would get out. Then a picture comes out showing JK and Jimin at a dinner, which was claimed to have been taken on White Day (looking like without their permission I might add, ships are more important than the boy’s privacy I guess). So Jikook went nuts saying it was a romantic dinner for White Day. It looked a bit sus, like it had been photoshopped. But it shows a 3rd wheeler who Jimin was sitting much closer to than JK. Yeah that’s romantic! 🙄 I have no idea of the validity of that picture but even if it’s true they went to dinner, that doesn’t look like a romantic White Day dinner to me. I had one person say to me that because so many are suspicious of Taekook, there must be something to it. What a crock of you know what. There are fans suspicious of Jikook, VMin, Jinkook, Vhope, Sope etc I could go on. So what does that tell you? We don’t know their sexualities and I’m not saying it’s impossible there is a couple in the band, but I find it unlikely. If there was, it would probably be two we wouldn’t expect lol. I’m doubtful even on that for a variety of reasons I won’t get into. But hey if they ever come out as gay/bi and a relationship, then I’ll believe it, but not until then. I’ll support them just the same because I don’t care about that. They haven’t come out, either there is nothing to come out with or they’re hiding it for good reason and that should be respected and left alone. The same people assuming they’re gay are the ones who call out anyone who assumes they are straight. Take your own advice hypocrites! As in the dark ages Korea is still in regarding this issue, they would probably want to be assumed straight if any were in the closet but I agree we shouldn’t assume. I had one get on my case because I didn’t scold someone for saying they have a brotherhood. Why would I? It’s not a stretch, they say so themselves. I’m not assuming sexuality and who they date by assuming a brotherhood now am I? They see what they want to see because of ship biases, that’s why you can’t have a rational discussion. I just see 7 men who are very close, who have been through a lot together. They see an entirely different thing. It’s not going to affect my life one iota if there are any members dating, I don’t care if that were true, I just don’t see it and I’m coming from a place of neutrality. I worry about the boy’s seeing all this, regardless of their relationships. It’s so embarrassing. I’ve been told that K-ARMY don’t like the way I-ARMY ships because they don’t take it seriously like that when they ship. I don’t know if that’s true for most or any, but it wouldn’t surprise me. It just makes me feel embarrassed and worry about the boy’s mental health. I could go on and on ad nauseam, but I won’t take up more of your time lol. So yeah solo stans and hardcore shippers are a cancer that needs extermination, metaphorically speaking of course. There needs to be a purge of the toxic people and they’ll still be left with a ton of fans. 💜
Japan doesn't understand Separation of Powers. That's why such incidence happened after Korean Parliament has decided. Can find lot of Japan gov, media, and main news journalist asking Korean Gov to do something about it. For that reason physically attacking with their different sectors were possible. In result of their financial attack, it back fired to them. Also rejecting the only trustable fast test kit and mask at that time of outbreak that Korea Gov offered, but rather scarfing their Japanese citizens. They are many types of democracy in this world. And Japan usually is explained as Feudalism Democracy since their politicians usually is based on same family tree of region before WW2. Have to write the letter of the name in the voting paper, so hard for new one to entire since Chinese Character is hard to write. And basically one party in the seat in their history. Same direct line of families who fought and exchanged informations with the Nazi. Most well known figure is Shinzo Abe the prime minster. That's why him and his party are eager to make Japan Self-Defense Forces into a real army and ability to go abroad land hoping their 2nd Golden Age of War time as always. They tried hard to obtain victim image of nuclear bomb in West. Those people are. But hard to say the country is. Since they couldn't sell their problematic history, so image was their main target. Compared to Jews and Koreans tell the story. Happily selling orientalism without any pride as long as it sells and gains fans as fast as they could. Geographically an island, selling other countries culture and products as if it's theirs. Japan also had nuclear at time. It was matter of time who would throw the bomb first to whose land. Before Atomic bombings, people need to know before why it happened. A country who invaded Korea and in China. Before the US atomic bomb, Japan has bomb Deadly Poison Gas in one of main cities of China, Chongqing. As they love human experiment same friends with Nazi. Attacking Pearl Harbor on Sunday AM on where family go to Church. After WW2 Japan was saved by Korean War. Becoming the base of manufacture line. And still trying to play that role and trying to draw the line for military war zone cause natural Geographical advantages. Another Golden days making them G2 of the world. After financial bubble crashed and 30 year of same labor fee, one of their wishes are always another war in Korea. For that they always provoke war tension with South and North Korea and hold its place as dominator of Asian region by US UK's authority. For that exchange they always sacrifice their own citizens as they often do as a tactic in history they did in war or finance. This was possible for this long of course even with hate love relationship since US UK pentagon and politics had benefits and to rule easy on all the regions. Even though it means giving it to a Nazi country as long as they listen well. Giving Korea to Japan in the first place in return for Philippines for exchange. Giving Korea to be run by pro Japanese, not independent movement leaders. Letting election be taken first abruptly not with North making permanent separation until now. Same tactic they usually did in all countries they went for benefits in recent Afghanistan also. Divide and Rule. These days hopefully the pentagon and White House is realizing it's not a good idea usually flies back after 30 to 100 years. But too much benefits so probably not. Most times hard to find correct "foreign" news in English form unfortunately because propaganda comes first to main networks and journalist, deceiving their own citizens for foreign benefits as we experienced in even recent wars and foreign policies by regions. Easy to control comes first. Anyway, It's time for US and West CITIZENS to at least know Japan is still same descendece of Nazi time and always making steps to deny all that happened and trying to make problematic sites into Unesco. Japanese citizens in general don't know much or don't want to think their ancestor, grandfathers, and people they looks up to are war criminals because of fabricated history lessons they took in school for generations. In any country When your politician is doing something funny supporting Japan with matters of Korea, should at least not support or call out for bribery.
This was not an easy video to watch, it's unfortunate this stuff happens.
Thank you for watching.
You don't need captions for her videos...They are made for us💜
When they recently signed a new contract Big Hit urged the Members to have their own Lawyers review it to make sure it was favorable to them..They were never suing Big Hit
Thank you for watching it though. It's a huge and important part of their story in my opinion. 💜
Also the fact that they started writing horrible articles about the guys ever since that. Like who gives the green light on this?? 😭
As an adult woman, I can say with utter conviction that their songs were NOT misogynistic. War of Hormones continue to be one of my favorite songs.
Literally! If anything, they put women on a pedestal. "Women are the best" How is that misogynistic?? Do they even know the meaning of that word? 😭
They really said that the lyrics of "war of hormones" were misogynistic. But they aren't. It's a great song
its def on my top 5 lol I love that song...
Not a big deal to just admit the boys have made some mistakes, they learned from them.
my favorite song from Dark & Wild
It has to be exhausting to live under a microscope 90 percent of your young adult life and need to watch everything you do.
oh i remember this german host guy... he recieved a huge backlash and armys all over the world were bringing the issue about the racism towards asians, not only bts for a few weeks after that because of the increased aggressions due to the pandemic. he and his company tried to apologise a few times stating that he "wasn't intending to be offensive" (yeah calling them "little pissers" and "blasphemy" on air is not offensive at all) and "attempted to express his feeling in an exaggerated manner that hurt the feeling of bts' fans". they claimed it was just a joke and never realized that jokes can be racist too and can have drastic consequences, they also never realised that it wasn't exactly about hurting armys feelings. we never made it about our feelings. we were fighting the blatant anti-asian internalised racism. with every attempt to save his image the guy was burring himself even further, saying he can't be called racist because he uses a korean car (it was japanese but it doesn't even matter, how a car can be compared to the respect towards a nation), saying he just underestimated armys power along the way calling us "fanatical followers of a musical cash machine" that "distorted his statements" by the "currently very popular racist stick". it was a mess. a mess that perfectly shows you what kind of environment bts and army have to deal with regularly
an interesting info from the Weverse publishing: "BTS’s latest collab “My Universe,” was made through a kind of understanding between the group and Coldplay. The collab itself had been under consideration much earlier, but Coldplay’s name came up when a German DJ made racist remarks about BTS in early 2021 while preparations were being made. Both BTS and Coldplay clearly opposed the idea of racism. Consequently, this social awareness found its way into the final product when it was eventually released, making the collaboration about more than just the song itself."
and the lines from the song are "they said we can't be together because we come from different sides"
This!! 💯
💯Agree‼️BTS💜ARMY worth my time, energy & support🥰🫰🏼
They had nothing
They were poor
They did not have much money
Had goals
They were strong
And now they are the most successful band in the world ... just because these seven guys are worth living proudly for.
I don't watch reaction to other groups coz it brings memories of what their fans did🤢
I still remember and can write a long paragraph on those perticular Fandom & what they did..but I'll save it for now, don't want ppl to think that I'm spreading h@te against that grup or fandom..ppl can forgive but i would never forget nor forgive their actions..i listen to "groups" in question, respect them as artists but those k-pop Fandoms (specifically 4-5 big fandoms who made co-ordinated attacks on BTS that time, biggest Fandoms in k-pop that time) left a bad taste in my mouth..imagine two giant fandoms at the time attacking a relatively new group over baseless rumors, the coordinated attacks during their rise after Wings are the biggest reasons armys today are extremely defensive and the fact BTS talk about this eras are not a secret but for some reason many non-army k-pop fans still refuse to acknowledge that this had a lasting affect to BTS and with how armys act now...i listen to almost all k-pop groups, I'm a casual k-pop listener, respect those artists & groups, but never consider myself part of any other Fandom other than being part of Army.. biggest reason is the daily microaggression i see from majority of k-pop Fandoms & Multi-stans throwing BTS under the Bus..this different behaviour & treatment towards BTS or Army by majority of k-pop stans is so normalised in this industry, that it really frustrates me ngl
can i ask who are these fandoms? thanku

Jin will become 30 in Dec this year so he will have to serve unless he is exempted.
if they were american rappers i bet people would say that the lyrics are quite light and "pure" XD
The fact that everything BTS does turns to gold and they are ruling the entertainment world proves Karma is an Army
BTS did receive that Cultural Merit award ...they are the only kpop group and youngest recipients ever
Thank you for the kind words 💜
she brushed over some things in here and i get it its a lot of information so it needed to be organized so that newer armys and people in general could understand what went on however some of the details and just how bad some of the incidents were omitted.
example during the thing with japan the death threats were very severe that many japanese armys begged bts to not come to japan. it wasnt just death threats by other fandoms it was non fans general public in japan. like death threats in general arent a game and are scary but the fact it wasnt just fans this time was a lot scarier and no one knew if the people were serious or not. i read that japanese armys also got death threats for continuing to support bts some of their schools were threatened. the concerts and fan meetings were threatened. and japanese armys who have a culture of not going to airports to see celebrities they all bravely decided to meet bts in the airport in support the show them they still had japanese armys there for them. the videos were beautiful and heartbreaking the guys looked do scared but so thankful for the support.
I read all my comments! This was a good one to read drinking my morning coffee.
Thank you so much for all of this amazing information! 💜💜
we genuinely don't like when someone use our numbers for their profit while not treating bts and army with the respect. like grammys lol. so usually big accounts among army would stream the event and armys will watch it from there, not from the official streaming. we really turn in only when it's time for bts to perform. so grammys tried but failed to raise their views 😂
around 2015-2017, the backlash in korea was getting really out of hand, they were at that point where they just got big enough for big companies to REALLY wanna get rid of them but just not big enough for the government/enough fans to defend, help them
so during that time, everyone in tv stations, radio, media got the memo that big companies want them gone, fandoms teamed up against army, armys could not say they are armys or they will get cyber bullied/people leaking their info etc.
it was really hard during that time, I hope all armys who went through that are staying strong and proud :)
@@camilesouzaa yup..true✨💜
People attacking Tae after he openly cries on stage about his grandmother! Aghhh. What kind of people do this….Why do I keep watching this! It makes me so mad💔💔. Love your channel btw! That’s why💜💜💜💜
a lot of accusations you will hear about are just exaggerations. antis will pick any chance to throw some hate speech at bts. i once saw someone saying bts are plagiators bc one of them wore a beanie the way some other idol did (this means just wearing a beanie, there was nothing special, a beanie on a head). bts don't plagiarize. why would they? they have skills to be amazing by themselves
this hate often comes from the place of jealousy
It hurts a lot to watch this video for me because they were very complicated moments and with bad memories for those armys who were with them. However, at the same time, it brings strength to remind us of everything we've been through. It's good to have a short record with these things so they don't get forgotten in bts x army history as time goes on.
Good reaction 💜
Looking forward to more bts videos in the future
@@adenahill8798 totally agree and very well said 💜
I'm from the Netherlands.
BTS got a sht ton of death threats. till this day, most armys hate and despise kpop fans and antis because of what happened at this time. people attacked BTS wrongly. this is a very sensitive topic amongst our fandom, so you won't see armys talk about it but i'll just say that, BTS is 100% with no doubt the most (unjustified) attacked artist on the internet, and us as their fans get attacked just by saying we are armys. i also want to point out that BTS were monster rookies. they were (still are) amazing and had a pretty successful debut. thats why people felt threatened by them. the attacks by "that group" fans were non stop. and it wasn't just the fans, it was the companies. there's a reason armys hate the big three. there's a reason most armys dont like kpop and just stan BTS. because people in this industry have treated BTS like sht. till this day, even if it sounds stupid, there a re a lot of fanwars on twt. and armys are always called toxic for no reason. till this day kpop fans say "you can attack us but please don't attack our idols" but then proceed to attack every member of BTS when they have the opportunity. till this day, people are fcking racist and xenophobic towards BTS, and all the kpop fans and western fans with #/BLM or #/StopAsianHate on their bios, are racist and xenophobic towards them or wont say anything and just look the other way because its BTS. they are a bunch of hypocrites. and if we call them out, for obvious reasons, we are called toxic and crazy. being an army is hard, ngl, but honestly, i'm glad i stan BTS, they've made me grow as a person so much and be able to stand up for myself. they are some of the strongest people i've ever encounter. and honestly being an army is one of the best things that could've ever happened to me, i've found my best friends through twt and they are all armys. and i absolutely admire the respect and love BTS and Army have for one another. and i'll always say this, people don't stan BTS just for their music and talents (which we really love, admire and appreciate), we stan them because they are them, because Namjoon is Namjoon, because Jin is Jin, because Yoongi is Yoongi, because Hobi is Hobi, because Jimin is Jimin, because Tae is Tae and because Jungkook is Jungkook. they are seven humble, respectful, genuine, unique and very talented guys that have worked very hard to grow, and the fact that they reciprocate the love we give them makes being an army just wonderful. they are the people that make me the happiest person on earth.
edit:
here's the whit paper project if u want to read it: whitepaperproject.com/en.html
You are correct 👍
@@Samson16436 that's ridiculous
and it all just keeps going, we're just constantly dealing with it. exhausting but we keep doing it for bts.
but this is why it's grating when outsiders insert themselves into "fanwars" really, we have years and years of bad blood with the idol industry and other groups' fans and people love putting their foot in it assuming it's just petty squabbling but some of the things done to bts are simply unforgivable and we and bts never receive apologies for them either 😬😬😬
Their lyrics were tame by any measure ...It was a bogus claim...They just outsmarted them by taking responsibility ...leaving them nowhere to go with it
BTS always rise above. All those haters did was inspire some of the best music ever made...
Her screenshot was clearly presented - but implicit. Have you? Point me their way and I'll change my stats to 99%.😉
She does this in other instances, as well.
I just realized that I wrote an essay! 🤣
i wanted to correct you on a few things most of the stuff bts did wasnt done before in kpop the storylines werent done the way bts did them. kpop groups have storylines more because of bts. i find it funny how theyre not familiar with hip hop culture but almost every kpop group has rappers and the whole korean hip hop scene exists outside of kpop. i think thats just a excuse they were hating bts for mostly no reason because all rappers diss especially if someone's disses them first which bts were responding to people they didnt start it. so really they wanted to be able to tear down bts but when bts responded they got upset because how dare the lower class respond. thats why bts proudly call themselves baepsae and underdogs and dirt spoons theyre reclaiming that. they know exactly why people hate them which is why the cyphers hit nerves. the cyphers were some of the best things bts done theyre just mad bts didnt take their shit anymore.
Second, I know haters gonna hate. But some stuff I really can't get over it or understand the logic behind it.
Like death treads against artists during a world tour literally named " LOVE YOURSELF".
What the heck is wrong with you world?!? 🤦🏻♀️
I'm so glad BTS stayed strong (and still stays strong) and ARMY having their back and supporting them with all their strength.
Greetings from France/Germany🇫🇷🇩🇪 by an 33 Year old ARMY 🖖🏻
Like Jimin would say :
"You Nice!
None of their lyrics are degrading to women. I listened to the songs they said. After listening to them 3 times each I couldn't find anything.
감사합니다 💜
They didn’t have the money to pay for views or anything else like that. The company was barely surviving.
I’m army since 2017 and this video always makes me think how strong they are
Sometimes I think if it were me at the same position I would be able to handle all that so graciously as them.
The 'misogyny' was a complete exaggeration by antifans, especially by American standards.
everytime i watch a reaction to this video, i always follow it with the "Karma is an ARMY" series to neutralize things.
are you brazilian?
Portuguese
@@paulagrave9516 oh I thought because of your name and bc in Brazil it's like that too unfortunately.
But still fan wars are so unnecessary.
the best thing is they dont give a *f ** coz they slap them with their top work kings forever
Borahae
Thank you so much for watching!
Great reaction, thank you!
Thank you for watching!
When their artis can't achieved what BTS has achieved, they started to make complain, said the Military Law only applicable for BTS. so funny.
thank you.
thank you for this video! ♡
wrote this before you said that you liked eminem back in high school but fun fact the very first album yoongi had bought was an eminem album when he was 12-13!! his parents didn't mind he said because they didn't understand the lyrics anyways hehe
That's funny! Thank you for watching!
GRACIAS POR TU Reacción ME GUSTO ..💜💜💜💜💜💜BTS&ARMY💜💜💜❤️❤️
(That is/was all in the "Rise of Bangtan"-vids)
So it is pretty much a necessarity.
Not to mention their personal hardships...wanting to commit suicide, Jimin sadly starving himself (body image 💔) etc there is so much tragedy
*Warning: going to be long a$$ comment*
Let's be real, War of Hormones wasn't misogynistic.
It doesn't mean sexual way”
BTS hv made few mistakes unknowingly early in their career and said things which can be considered offensive, as they were young but they hv re-educated themselves, apologized and never repeated the mistakes again..but I hv seen many k-popies and so called Multi Armys twisting many things because of that..take for example this song.. it's blown out of the proportion just to cause drama..and they were sadly successful in that..haters/antis tried every lil thing to bring BTS down & sabotage their career ngl..
Also if you ever watch that Hamburger thing with Jungkook... it will drive anyone livid. To do that to a teenage boy on television like wtf.... ugh!
Thanks for sharing your reaction Bryan 💜
As Ive heard from others before in comments, including Koreans, the hardships video only covers a very small percentage of what they have had to deal with and what it does cover it only touches on briefly.
Lol
Check them out if you haven’t, as a woman who grew up with far worse on the radio, it doesn’t bother me.
BTSxARMYxBH(Hybe) vs all odds...
BTS ARMY💜🇦🇷ARGENTINA
The problem with jungkook I really cried, why did they say it was leftover food, even though jungkook had forgiven him but honestly I still hate him
There is an excellent video on the matter of racism and the situation with the German radio host called 'BTS, Coldplay, a German Radio Presenter and the Racism Problem' ua-cam.com/video/f4ukx4ok9W8/v-deo.html it's by a channel called ComedianReacts another reactor I watch.
I admit ARMY can be a little too sensitive at times, to the point where I say ok, calm down (which I usually get yelled at for, no matter how nice I am about it).
Lol
Far more awesome ARMY out there.
Lol 🤬
I have had more run ins with them than anyone else.
