I've been playing this scenario in Sims 3! My girl is Jill, and her dog is Jack. I made my seasons 4 weeks each and went through a year before aging her to a teen. It was too long, so I cut it to 2 week seasons. But she made so much money selling flowers and collectibles, and publishing books during that year that she was able to buy a nice house and leave her trailer. Now she's a teen mom and pregnant with her second child with a different father. I'm going for a third eventually because I want to see which of the 3 male townies her age make the best looking child. 😂
She could do cross stitch (and if you give her a llama…she can’t take care of mini sheep) she gets the wool for free, and give her a selling table, she can sell those for quite a bit, even just from inventory could make some money. But, cross stitch makes quite a bit of money, kids can do it, and having the free llama wool makes the profit high! I don’t think you’ve done that one before.
I don't think children can shear llamas, but they CAN milk cows and collect chicken eggs. It'd be fun to have her run a little farm with chickens and cows, make income from that and your cross-stitch idea.
@ I’ve been watching people play Sims Ultimate Decades Challenge (start in 1300 get your family line to modern day) and the kids can take care of the cow definitely and the horses, but not the mini goats or sheep. I thought they could shear the llama, but maybe not. Although, with chickens and a cow, she could make friends with a bird tree or rabbits and they bring wool as gifts all the time if you interact with them.
For bills, if you set the lights to auto light for every room, it lowers the rent a bit I think - and it only keeps the lights on in the room your sim is in

I'm almost certain kids can use the selling table from Home Chef Hustle. I wonder if you could buy some meals from Zoomers and sell them at a mark-up on the table? I'd love to see a part 2 of this!
No idea if you'll see/remember this for future videos, but pets are a tiny little hack that I don't see people using very often! Did you know that if your Sim is Tense, you can have them Pet a dog/cat, and the Tense mood immediately goes away? (For some specific situations that REQUIRE you to have a Tense moodlet, such as needing to marry within a few days to inherit money, it won't work. But common Tense moodlets will get insta-canceled if you Pet a dog or cat!) Another thing is if your Fun meter is in the red or yellow, again doing the 'Pet' interaction on a dog or cat typically bumps it up once, into the green. It doesn't do it again until you're back in the red/yellow, so you can't max it out, but it's a huge boost! So if you plan to do anything more on this, or like this, keep in mind that your child Sim's fun and Tense moodlets can be fixed almost instantly simply by petting the dog! (This is one of my favorite things about having pets around!)

It's not supposed to be a discount code... it's a creator code and part of the money goes to them. Epic Games Store and Roblox have had this feature for years, never has it supposed to give a discount

I feel kids aren't given enough realistic tasks to do in the Sims 4. I'm sure it has to do with animations going wonky or something that could be fixed, but what child can't bathe a dog? Toddlers, who now appear older, can't even stand on a stool and attempt to wash their hands. Age appropriate activities that either the young sims or the adults can't engage in because the game says they can't is my pet peeve.

Cross stitching is the worst way to make money in all of the sims. 🤷♀️
