The lady’s dresses are stunning, I can remember my Mother in similar ones to these. Lovely to see everyone enjoying themselves, times seemed to be much better then, even though we were still trying to recover from the war. Not a mobile phone in sight ! People made their own entertainment then - didn’t have to be entertained all the time ! Thank you for posting this.
I found an old autograph book from 1957, I had been to Butlins Skegness, it contains ‘The Saphires’ autographs and ‘Uncle Boko’ . Simple times but we had fun.
I had not been born when this was shot but I managed that Roller Skate Rink in the 1972 - 3, It is an old saying but I honestly didnt know how lucky I was lol, great memories and a wonderful time
