- Launched in Feburary 2023, the Yonex Astrox Nextage badminton racket provides a mid range, mid price racket in the head heavy range.
Will this racket provide a cheaper alternative for Yonex fans struggling to obtain a Japan-made, top of the range racket?

Great review, sir! Looking forward to seeing your Arcsaber 7 Pro review video soon! 👏
Thank you - it has been recorded, just needs to go through th editing process :)
it’s great seeing you review more yonex rackets! i personally want to know how a racket plays more than the technical details too. maybe even review lining rackets next time too!
I will review any racket but retailers or manufacturers do not send them
Great review - I bought an Astrox Nextage as well but unfortunately did not like it at all. Felt super sluggish and head heavy. The VDM killed any feedback from the racket and felt like swinging a dead fish. Afterwards I tried the Arcsaber 7 Pro and man, the difference was day and night. I was in love at the first hit. Arcsaber 7 Pro is the best racket for me after playing with so many racket in decades. Finally found my match.
Glad you found your perfect racket. You probably understand why I say you feel a racket in a unique way. I can describe how a racket feels and plays but it doesn’t mean it will suit you
Thank you for the review. What do you think about the nextage compared to the astrox 77 pro ? (In terms of balance, power, speed.. )
Personally, I believe 77 Pro is a superior racket and delivers more all in aspects of the game, but is more expensive
Thanks Paul. How does it compare to the astrox 88d pro? Is it more forgiving due to the medium flex?
It will feel heavier and probably more sluggish compared to 88d pro
@@TheBadmintonCoach thx Paul!
I bought 3 of this racket model for competetion play. they are like 75-90€ bareley used or around 115€ new. and they are good! That´s it for me. Excellent cheap Racket. Medium Flex, a bit head heavy, Its like a cheper Astrox 77.
+ Exbolt 65 at 11.5 kg
Everyone is saying it's head heavy but why the hell I don't feel it's head heavy. 1 week of use feel nothing, too flex no power. For me it's head light totally head light
@@priyanshbhadoriya84094U head heavy + towel grip = 3U even balanced. Same feeling for me.
Thank for the review 😊What do you recommend to an intermediate players who play doubles? Astrox 88 game or astrox nexstage
The game version will be more friendly
@@TheBadmintonCoach hi coach I got an arcsaber 11 tour 3U model finally
@@danushkskumara8140 enjoy
@@TheBadmintonCoach hi coach I tried my arcsaber 11 tour for the first time and I felt I’m not getting a satisfied feeling because most of the time my shots missing sweet spot. I used 66 UM strings 24 tension. And the shots are not very powerful either 😞. That racket felt a bit light weight for me even though it was 3U
@@danushkskumara8140 you could try adding some weight in the head and see if that helps
Sir is Nanogy 95 with tension in 27 and I'm using a racket astrox 88s pro the Nanogy 95 will break easily?
Not necessarily. Higher tension shortens the durability as there is more pressure on the string from a mishit
@@TheBadmintonCoach Another question sir is bg80 good for astrox 88s game with 28 tension? Cause I'm really confused what should I get string 😅
