Love to see Paris slowly turn into a more walk and bicycle friendly zone with walkable streets. A great development I wish they would do in my City too.
When has Paris not been walkable?: O As for bicycle-friendly, that's due to our deranged mayor who wants to turn Paris into a giant bike path - Obviously biking is good for everything, but these days some of them are so entitled, they don't respect the rules and are actually more dangerous to pedestrians than car drivers...
i grew up wearing baggy jeans in the 2000s, and when the skinny jean trend reached me in the 2010s i was like "yes! i finally get to have legs!" the repulsion toward skinny jeans is interesting to me, then, because i can't tell how much of it is people going for a certain different look/feeling and how much of it is people avoiding some associated cringiness or restrictiveness.
I was a teen during the height of the skinny jeans era, and I will never wear them again. They are incredibly uncomfortable and very difficult to look good in, unless you have a specific body type. 100% not worth it for me and most of my friends.
Truely each of these young people that were stopped and asked about their fashion choices were delightfully attired. The "off the rack" look (out of a department that was meant for someone else) had a dedicated workout body that made that work. I was looking for something else and this turned out to be fun.
If you stopped a random person in America I doubt many would have any idea what brand they’re wearing. It’s incredible to me how many men can tell you the brand of literally everything they’re wearing.
The cool girl from Lille who made her own baggy jeans ( out of 2 skinny ones ) looks like she had a portacat installed underneath her skin ( the little protruding circle right under her right collar bone) . Usually those are placed in cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy. I hope she is OK.
this series makes my heart sore because i know how the french government doesn't allow muslim woman the freedom to wear religious and modest attire 💔 its so unethical and wrong !
Ok. Lol. The two American white girls looked like they were trying too hard. The French ladies outfit was banal and unflattering. The only one that was okay was the French guy who just grabs whatever clothes are nearby.
The woman who made the pants out of two pairs of skinny jeans did a wonderful job with them! They’re perfect!

I find skinny or straight leg is more flattering on me….. I feel like I look larger in wide leg and looser jeans
