As a new player, this was the only deck that I promised myself to learn it the best I could, I always a tried to find good videos on how to play this deck without a whole bunch of commentary and I recently came across your videos, i respect your grind bro and you make that ish look easy… I also appreciate a losing match video , everybody always wins.. I can see your mistakes and the game plan becomes more clearer… thanks for keeping it 💯
Felt like cavendish was just giving too much value and I really wanted him to lose a 5 drop off the board, I honestly got greedy in this game and it cost me lol
The main reason is because if you hold the search, you’re able to make a better informed decision what you add from a search from turn 2 onwards. Typically turn 1 the card you add won’t have much impact until turn 3 and onwards so I’d rather save it for turn 2 onwards so I can dictate the impact of that search post turn 3 and onwards. Idk if I explained clearly but lmk if you have any other questions
@diopside imo I only do this with decks like BY, BY is a combo deck you need to see the correct pieces at the correct time. Also like other decks your top end cannot be searched so you are realistically searching 1-3 times a game and you want each of those searches to have impact. After about 2-3 searches you probably have everything you need so you’re gonna hold off on searching so you can reliably draw your top end. And only searching because you don’t have a certain baby or whatever end game

why do u pass turn 1 even tho u can search
Cause u search only if u need something

Why kill the basil instead of cavendish the basil isn’t a threat at all lol not killing that cavendish cost you the game
