    Iyanna - I have a suggestion if you don’t mind.
    Tape your tape measure down on your table (if that’s your work table). Like with clear packing tape. This way you don’t have to hold your tape measure and the string of beads at the same time and you don’t have to stretch up in the air 😁.

    It’s cheaper to buy in bulk on Fire Mountain. The more you buy the more you save and they sell by the hank really cheap

    How do you prevent gaps? I use stretch magic and when I finish making the waistbeads and put them on, there are gaps were I guess the string stretched so it looks like there aren’t enough beads.

    Love this video! I just started making waistbeads July 2020 and I think I’m obsessed with them too lol... I wanted to know do you ever glue your knot when you’re done the knot? I normally glue mine just for that extra protection but maybe it’s not needed?

    • @IyannaT
      @IyannaT  4 роки тому +2

    Questions: Does wearing the waistbeads for a long period of time, leave a ring mark around you stomach? I bought waistbeads and notices when I took them off it left a slight mark behind.

    • @maxlouisjean963
      @maxlouisjean963 2 роки тому

      I feel like it’s bc they made it tight some ppl leave a lil extra in the string so that you don’t get marks

    Good video! I went to Joann's and now I have 1000 beads 😳. I'm trying this method today the cotton string kept snapping off my clasps which is drving me crazy, I think the string ai bought was too thin. But I have plenty of elastic I never tried yet.

  • @Voicesampd
    @Voicesampd 4 роки тому +1

    For the strong: are you tying the string to the beading needle? How you you keep it on there for the Beads to go through

    • @IyannaT
      @IyannaT  4 роки тому

      KeAnn Mays-LeNoir just slide the string down the beading needle and let it get stuck there. If that makes sense.

    • @Fitjelani
      @Fitjelani 4 роки тому

      Twist the needle slightly when you put the string through.

    So do the ones that hang lower, do they get in the way of ur pants or make it uncomfortable??

    • @IyannaT
      @IyannaT  3 роки тому

      No I’m used to them so they don’t bother me. I can’t remember them being a problem in the beginning either. You just have to be careful not to pop them when pulling your pants down.

  • @verosplate

  • @ssmith2141

    What is the difference between clasp, n the other ones?

    • @IyannaT
      @IyannaT  4 роки тому

      Permanent they’ll stay on until you pop them or cut them off.
      Clasp you can remove them as if it was a necklace or bracelet.
      Elastic they stretch so you choose wether or not to keep them on or take them off.
