Nice video brother! Can you tell me how can i make my room soundproof in best and cheapest way, not for music purpose. Just to reduce noise for outsiders?
A lot of factors need to be considered, there is no general trick for that. Hey Brijesh, What is the approximate cost of each item that you have used? What do those wood cost? I am trying to do this only at my place - and was thinking of choice between 1) 40mm EPE Foam (can cover these with moshi cloth and attach to a velcro hook and loop type - stuck on wall, for easy attachment and removal) 2) Rockwool EPE Foam 40mm comes in 2m x 1.5m - costs 500 rupees for that. Rockwool 50mm thickness comes in 1m x 1m - costs 175 rupees for that. But the major cost for rockwool based acoustic panel is for the wood being used. Can you let me know the approximate cost of one panel for you, and what the size of each panel is?

@@BrijeshSarin ok bro..quite makes sense
Yeah man!! Cheers.
air gap is very imp between wall and acoustic pannels..
I am very sorry i forgot to mention that. But i do have a half inch air gap between the wall and the Panel with the help of a Plastic Buffer on the bottom edge of the Frame
@@BrijeshSarin good job..
Thanks for the upload. Very informative.
What cloth did you use in the front?
Most welcome!! I used the inner lining cloth that is used for the Men's Suits. I had other options but this was readily available, breathable and in color i wanted so i used that.
@@BrijeshSarin Looks way cooler than mine. Then again, I used white dhotis😂😂
You did a great job there. It takes so much time and effort.

Hey Great vid there. I just got rockwool 350 and i I am confused with the thickness, is 50mm enough for A panel. considering its density is 60 kg/m3. Cheers
Hey!! Umm your panel thickness is okay, but the density is quite low for acosutic panel. Use 96 or 100 for good absorption. 50-60 kg/m3 is more used for Soundproofing Insulation rather acoustic Trratment.
@@BrijeshSarin Ok im returning this and going to get 100 kg/m3 ie rockwool 380 . glad amazon guys are helpful in this case. as I saw your other comments is auralexchange best option for this.
Frankly i got to know that Locally is 1/3rd the price. So Auralexchange is great but yes its expensive.
@@BrijeshSarin Man! I must say there are so many options on Indiamart and local options but do they really have That melting point and density as per "rockwool" brand has to offer. If yes then i want to save some money aswell. still struggling with finances, great help Brijesh! I am in Delhi right now. let me know if you have any contact for this. Thanks in advance!
I think should be the same. Confirm with the dealer for the same. Unfortunately i dont have a contact for delhi

Brother kitni height pe lagane hai?
Depends on k kya purpose k liye laga rahe ho. Agar first reflection treat karne k liye laga rahe ho to keeping it center at the Monitor level is good. Normally the top corner around 6 foot is a good height in my opinion.
@@BrijeshSarin M UA-cam videos banata hu, toh uske echo ko kam karne ke liye lagane hai

Thank You 🍻
where can i buy rockwool?
Online or a Local Vendor
Is it enough to have 2 inches of thickness?
Hugely Depends on your Purpose. For mid high frequencies its fine. For Lower Frequencies below 500hz its difficult
@@BrijeshSarin Thank you so much for your quick reply means a lot! ❤️ Can I use 4-6 inches of Rockwool to work as Bass traps? Also how much space do I leave between the wall and the panel? Thank you so much Brijesh! ❤️
@@AsliEzio 4-6" is better but for bass traps to be very effective go as big as a 1 foot. Also the more space between the panel and the wall the more the absorption. For bass traps use lower density such as 48 kg/m3

Rockwool ka density kitna hain

Hey Brijesh,
What is the approximate cost of each item that you have used?
What do those wood cost?
I am trying to do this only at my place - and was thinking of choice between
1) 40mm EPE Foam (can cover these with moshi cloth and attach to a velcro hook and loop type - stuck on wall, for easy attachment and removal)
2) Rockwool
EPE Foam 40mm comes in 2m x 1.5m - costs 500 rupees for that.
Rockwool 50mm thickness comes in 1m x 1m - costs 175 rupees for that.
But the major cost for rockwool based acoustic panel is for the wood being used.
Can you let me know the approximate cost of one panel for you, and what the size of each panel is?
I dont remember the cost of wood!
But if you make one like i did the entire pannel costs around 750-1000 per panel.
@@BrijeshSarin And what was the size of the panel? 1mx0.5m?
@@BrijeshSarin Can you share the link/source from where you got the rockwool and the cloth also?
Rockwool was baught from Auralexchange. Cloth wasn't purchased had it procured from a relative. And the size of each pannel is 2*4 feet.
Nice
Great work man!

@@BrijeshSarin hey thnx for replying ! I am confused about the health issues by it ! Is it some different kind of rockwool ?
@@DeepakSingh-uv5vg no rockwool is harmfull when covered with Fabric. Rockwool is harmfull when there is lot of loose fibre and dust in it. Which is taken care by the cloth. You can also use Decron inside the cloth to make sure nothing comes out at all.
Kya kapada isthiamal karthe hai
Hello, aap koi bhi kapda use kar sakte ho. Bas vo acousitcally breathable/transparent hona chaheye yani k sound usme se reflect nai balki pass hona chaheye. Aap kapde ko apne mu k paas rakh k usme fuk mar k check kar sakte hai. Agar fuk kapde k across feel hui yani vo fabric ap use kar sakte hai lekin agar kapde k aar paar hava na feel ho to us kapde ko na use kare.
