I just found my photo albums full of these from when I was a kid. I thought my mother threw them away! I was at their house for our weekly "family night " and we were watching Toys That Built America which happened to be on Cabbage Patch Kids. My dad literally paused the show and went to looks in my brother's old room (this is the room my mother turned into the "throw everything in " room). Sure enough, they were there. I have between 3-5 of each card and they haven't even had the pages of the albums they have been stored in for almost the last 4 decades, turned. I am looking forward to going through all of them with my father (who is now interested in them, lol) I am hoping to sell the majority of them.
Topps' GPK printing was often off-centered. I'm guessing that most of the lower-than-expected gradings in the video were due to the images being off centered and the irregular white borders, since that is one of the main criteria PSA uses to determine over all grading (corners, edges, surfaces, printing, and centering). Still some great cards and condition. Thanks for posting.
Had a nostalgia itch this week, not looked at GPK since I collected them as a kid in the 80's. I had the full collection series 1-3 and threw them all away in my teens. I had no idea till today they were worth anything. I'm tempted to get back into collecting now!
Your cards looked amazing. I just don’t get @PSACARD. One submission you get 8’s, 9’s and 10’s. Right on. Next submission, from the same group of cards as before, your now getting all 5’s, 6’s, 7’s. Oh and we can’t forget the dreaded ST (stained). And thanks @PSACARD , you’ve now made this card unsellable. No buyers out there want to buy a card who’s has ST at the end of the grade. 🤷🏼♂️ Thanks for the reveal.
I fe like PSA just randomly grades these cards on first glance. That Adam Bomb definitely is a 8-9. It’s not a 10 bc of the centering but a 6 is ridiculous
I have the complete first series mint in my closey somewhere. Bought them when i was kid and they came in a clear hard box and just sat on my shelf until i moved to where im at now. I may need to get them priced.
A few questions if you don't mind answering them: How much does it cost, or range, when getting PSA grading? I have a booklet of 1985 cards that are in a folder. I've got a lot and have to take inventory of them. I think they're in mint condition, but I have to get them graded. I do intend on selling them via Ebay if the market is strong. Is the market strong right now, or is it kinda on the downswing?
@@gpkforever NP. We all know the cards are mint when they are pulled, but you can see in the video that the centering is off on a few of the favorite ones. I have some that I want to send in as well! Keep grinding!
I have two unopened boxes of Series 1 Garbage Pail Kids. How do I figure how much they are worth? Also, how do I know if they are glossy or matte without opening them? Thanks guys!
What do you mean .I sold the orginal Nasty Nick in mint condition for around 14,000 dollars.Same with Jay Decay for around 9000. these are not the original from 85.They are worth over a hundred thousand dollars if you have all the cards in mint condition in a book.
How do I know if it’s worth getting my collection graded? I have over 200 in zip lock bags. Is it possible I can spend more getting them graded compared to what they are worth? How do I know what to do. Help!
Honestly if they lived all these years in ziplock bags, they arent worth grading. The corners will be shot. Never keep cards in anything but penny sleeves or binder pages or a card box.
So how much does it cost to have PSA grade an unopened set you send them, I’m interested if this is is a guaranteed worthwhile invest, I just stumbled upon your videos but it seems cool
Great video .. but a lot of them are off centered and have no shot at 10 or 9 .. that being said .. i think psa really grades these harshly.. if they are not 100% in every aspect they aint getting a 10 and sometimes they are 100% and still dont get a 10
My friend has a lot of these garbage pail kid cards, some are duplicates. I believe they are mostly from 1986, 87 and couple other years but there all in perfect condition. We are trying to find someone that buys them, any help?
How is it even worth submitting a lot of these when it’s 150 min to grade a card and 7/8’s on series one aren’t even worth 150 unless it’s Adam bomb sick nick or a few others
@@gpkforever my issue aside from cost to have cards graded, is what prevents them from quote getting lost, or they take your super mint card and substitute a lesser quality card of the same.?
I just think it's inappropriate that the theme of the cartoon character with mucues throwing up sick seems to be a popular image with these cards. And to think they are true , millions of them around the world.Covid Candis .And Corona Catrina.are popular.

I did the same thing
Please tell me you didn't buy any GPK in 2020-2021. That's when they peaked in value. Now is a.good time to buy, as they are in a bit of a dip.
@@ObsessedCollector I did, and sold them for more than double later in the same year :)

Adam Bomb PSA 6 goes silent..
Dig it! Really makes me think about getting some of my cards graded. Keep up the hits!🔥
Go for it!
Would love it if you could put rough prices up of the cards
Joe Mclaughlin I will try to figure that out in for future videos. Thanks for the idea.
Would you sell that Adam bomb?
I have soo many what do I do with them
Centering plays a factor. Check those

Amazing vid 😎😎😎😎😎
If it’s a really expensive card they always drop the grade so it doesn’t max the cost of the submission

There are a lot of buyers on eBay.
Perfect condition is very subjective.
Series 2 in matte is good, rest up to series 13 are about $1 ea raw.
👌🏻
Whats better to have the glossy or matte and what does the 1 and 2 stars mean on back corners
Glossy is the best to have for os1.
Stars are for quality control. Just learned that last year!
I have a bunch of chromes do they go for anything
yes, it depends on the card.
How much do you pay to have them graded? Do a video on how you send them off to PSA!
sLyKnEzZ it’s normal $20 a card or you can buy a membership, and they have sweet deals!
What company does that?Where do you send them to? I have A bunch of cards that I would like to get graded. Can you please give me some advice?

How did he get all them they are soo expensive

I came across all series 1 and variants but not mint so i guess they are worthless : (

This is why PSA is so backlogged because of people grading contemporary cards which only boost the value slightly, but have at it buddy
