= 10-20k for learning.
= 2-5 lakh {if you just wants to make a side income from trading}
= 15-25lakh - "for full time", depending on your monthly expense.(on 2% monthly return).
= Must have next 6-12 months emergency fund.

I started from 1 L , Swing trade se start kia 10 trades of 10k each..
Usko 1 saal mei 1.5 lakh kia.. thanks to bull market of 2020.
1.5 se 2.15 lakh kia in 2021 ,
Currently 2.5 lakh in 2022.. Growing consistently, Less trades with good risk to reward and expectations is 30 percent per year , If I make 5 percent in 1 month then no trade for the month.

My learning phase is over it's been 1.5byears I'm learning and now selling options with just 50k(Hedging). My 2% risk is also maintained and 4% reward se tora jada hi leta hu. Overall small but consistent profit 😊
