I was fortunate to enough to get a sample of the CK 411 here in the Pacific NW. Thanks for your insight on the comparison of these two! I want to give a shoutout to some of my favorite whiskytubers: Curiosity Public, Whisky on the West Coast, and Whiskey is a Journey

Nice review. There are a number of UA-cam Channels that I really like. SLB Bourbon Bar is one that is very entertaining as well as educational. Stuff and Whiskey I like for their double blind tastings. And I really enjoy Whiskey Lore for the stories that tie to the tastings.

As others have noted, you've typo-ed 413 twice in your title, rather than 411 & 413.
Re. the AD numbers, usually there's a month, then a full-stop/period, and a year, and the number after the colon is a batch/bottling. So does 04:16 mean April and bottling 16? Well no, for as WB239146 shows, in that case the number after the colon is *not* a batch but instead the year, 2016. So there they've switched from full-stop to colon to denote the year, which *is* confusing. I'd prefer if they listed the year before the month as I find that "tidier", but I doubt that'll ever happen and it's only a wee niggle.
My favourite Ardna so far was a friend's bottle from CK 200-something which had quite a lot of sherry influence. The CKs are out of my price range so one has to occasionally settle for the cask strength bottlings like 09.22. I hope the sherry cask will appear in my market but if so it's not here yet.
My favourite whisky tubers?: well, I'm currently typing in one of those, Jason, but also: The Grail, Gwhisky, Whisky Wednesday, The Single Malt Review, Malt Reviews. Alas, some of those have become quite "patchy"/occasional/rare to post, but not you Jason: thanks for all your many excellent vids and not least this one.👍

I really do not the codes for Ardnamurchans - thanks for the recommendations

Thinking about it a second time, I guess there is a distinction because the old pattern of month-period-year [& in some cases also -colon-batch number] was a pattern set for batch releases, so the year in that code was the release year, such as the 09.22 cask strength bottled/released in Sept 2022. In contrast, above you have month-colon-year for a *vintage* release. The year there is the vintage of distillation rather than the year of (batch) release.
... so they are/have used (at least) two distinct patterns, but it's still very confusing.
Also note that the old pattern is now either partially or completely dropped. The last "standard release", AD 04.22:02, WB212869, they dropped the complicated code from the label. So it will just be AD. And the third cask strength release which is from 2023, after 02.22, and 09.22, doesn't actually state even its year according to one reviewer--which would be very confusing going forward if they stick with that, as that may leave only the abv or bottling stamp on the glass as a means of distinguishing. Apparently it will be an annual release, not twice as in 2022.
The batch numbers of the original AD 46.8% releases are further confusing because some of the batch numbers were only available in certain markets.

Is it possible to guess what the previous occupants of the casks might have been based on what Adelphi bottled around then?

WhiskyJason your naming off the tasting notes in my opinion!🤷‍♂️ I am doubting your experience in whisky, and the fact you don’t pour larger drams like Ralfy. I’m having trouble in you producing your own tasting notes?🤷‍♂️🤔 I would like to to see you expanding out on your own personal opinion!
