My wife and I are from Canada, and we went to Jamaica in November of 2018. We loved the place, but we saw what you guys have to put up with there. Here's to hoping Jamaica can fix this problem, because we love the people, the culture, the atmosphere, and the of course, the paradise you guys live in. We're rooting for you over here.

This is so sad, but I thought that all these zinc fencing was illegal, correct me if I am wrong. This whole area they need to wake one morning to find the whole are locked down ring fenced no one allowed out or in for 24 hours and JR3 move in with the police and do a house to house search with the the K-9 divisions and metal detectors. When the 24 hours search is completed then the social interventions can take place first thing is to remove all zinc fencing, then move on to deal with the human element of the intervention. This has been going on far too long and it need to stop. The so called Commissioner of police the one who keeps misleading the public why is he not saying anything. He needs to be dismissed or do the honourable things and resign, how could he allow such criminal acts to be taking place under his watch. The incompetent Commissioner needs to go.

See some ppl think of thanos as a mad tyrannical warmonger, but I'd apply his ideology in this case. Trench town is a very nice place but due to the fact that the youths there have no jobs available is pure hustlers are being recruited both criminally and honestly down town to make a living. And with the kids not being able to go to school because of gang war and lack of financial aid then I can Strongs see a new generation of criminals arising in the near future they need help or jamaica is going to be in serious trouble. Politicans must find a way to do something to aids these young people and stop getting up every day bickering and cussing for positions that them not worthy to fill while them busy a make the rich richer and the poor poorer including themselves

Listening to the news out of Jamaica about the gangs wars in Trench Town, it is nothing new and. When people is talking about it is really bad for the tourists, it is all nonsense. Nobody is troubling the tourists coming to Trench Town, because the gang wars is not concerning about them. Some people is behaving so erratic like other countries in the world does not have gangs wars,and it is not going to stop people from going there like Trench Town. The parents need to control their children much better, but the parents cannot be everywhere their children is all the time. So it is very hard to control those children, and majority of them does not have a father around them at all.
In any country the main problems that caused crimes, is poverty, it is the number one factor .Trench Town boys put down the guns,because some of you is going to end up in prison, or May Pen cemetery bone yard.
