I suppose no apology or retraction could have been required as part of this settlement because of all the other pending law suits against Fox Corp and various of their talking heads and disinformation sources like my pillow guy, rudy giuliani, sidney powell etc.

Australian here - usually love your show but probably best not to use a didgeridoo for a cheap laugh. The instrument has much spiritual and cultural significance and there are also ome prohibitions on who should play one. To me I was a bit shocked because that was tacky and not needed.

I worked in a law firm that practiced insurance defense...HATED IT...Defendant insurance companies ALWAYS settle simply because if they do go to trial, THEY WILL LOSE EVERYTHING EXCEPT BREATH. The only parties who win in insurance defense are the ATTORNEYS.

Aside from the money, they should not only apologize publicly, but also sign an affidavit agreeing that they will fact check everything they report and not spread lies and rumors anymore. And also that in the future, they will state clearly whether they are giving their opinion, versus real news facts.

However Dominion is a company and were suing to protect their reputation, which the entire organisation depends on to succeed. Settling without so much as an apology from Fox or admittance that they LIED about Dominion’s products isn’t even good business sense, because Fox’s audience will still believe their lies. Settling was greedy, cowardly and pathetic, and by doing so they’ve angered their own supporters as well by denying them the satisfaction of a trial, which _further_ damages their reputation. They’ve essentially opted to lose their own case for what is, to Fox, a pittance, and now Fox don’t have to demonstrate any accountability for peddling propaganda that is extremely harmful to American democracy. It’s a total disgrace, and Dominion should be ashamed.

The writing on this show is superb...love especially the descriptions and characterizations of photos of famous people. The writing combined with Stephen's delivery is so damn good.

You know, part of the reason why the voting age was reduced from 21 to 18 was because 18 year olds could get drafted into fighting in Vietnam but they couldn't vote when they came back home. Additionally, in the past 20 years the % of voters under 30 who vote for Republicans has dropped to its lowest point. Well, if Red States are alright with making it so teenagers as young as 14 can work we should allow them to vote & (if they want to) vote those same Republicans out of office later.
Why not make it 12. If a 12 year old can get married, let them vote, drive, work, drink, own guns, whatever.
No taxation without representation.
If we have limits on age for working, I suggest a limit on age for voting. Anyone over 50 only gets half a vote. Anyone over 70 can't vote at all.
