@@jbreeves Prices on the lake have doubled in the last 6-8 years, lots of people from out of state moving in with very few homes available..

just bought land here on the lake. This is beautiful... want to see this shot again when the lake isnt half drained for the winter months.

I think it was that low at the time due to a drought.

@@jbreeves ahhhh that could be as well. I’m still getting used to the area, and know that they drain part of the lake with a dam, so made a brash assumption. Can’t wait to get back up there soon and explore more, and get a pole in the water!!!

Beautiful day for this video! I'm moving to an RV park in this area and was hoping to see it. It's back off the road in a heavily wooded area so it would be difficult to locate. I've watched a few drone videos of the lake, but yours is by far the best. The music was pleasant and relaxing...some of the others played harsh, loud and annoying music, so annoying that I just turned the volume off. I will watch this one again. Thanks so much for sharing.

Thank you very much for the kind words. I'm happy that you enjoyed it. The music was written and composed by a friend of mine in Los Angeles, John Sokoloff. It was a beautiful day and a beautiful area. We were on our way home to Charleston, SC and stopped to take a look. I thank my wife for urging me to get the drone out of the trunk and send it on its way.

Wish you would have gotten the lower end of the lake also. Near Jefferson City.

John, have you monetized your music on UA-cam? If not, I think you should consider it. If monetized, every time someone watches a video that includes your work, you get paid. I've even had bogus copyright claims against my videos that are using Royalty Free music from Pinnacle Studio. It's an automated process and I would welcome you getting paid. :-)

Great video. Sure would like to sell my lot on Lake Chelaque, lot 117 in Phase I. We won't be retiring there after all. It sure is beautiful!
