I was 10 in 1998, and remember being blown away by this bootleg. When I started buying tunes in 2001 a few years later, I hunted this down as it never left me. Still have it at 35 years old, 'stuntmasterz' printed across it. One sided.
I seen this live in 1998 at a rave in dolton Illinois. This is Thomas bangalter spinning holiday, music sounds better with you, and bucket heads bomb ( instrumental ) in the background. I was 5 feet from him when he did this. 3 tracks simultaneously on vinyl, that's why it sounds a little off
Nope! This version was done by Stuntmasterz, who basically added the Madonna samples to an earlier bootleg remix, Spacedust - Music Feels Good With You, which made use of the drum loop from The Bomb. Daft Punk did indeed play this in their live sets.
I only came across due to another channel talking about it. But gotta say, this is a gem! I was teenage lad when "music sounds better with you" was released. I can only imagine how amazing this would of been to see this dropped by Thomas back in the golden era
I almost want to subscribe to UA-cam premium instead of Spotify only because of this remix. This is when bootlegs can stand alone. This is the best ever. ❤
I remember picking this bad boy up from HTFR in Birmingham back in the day. Couldn't wait to spin it that evening. Went down a treat. Still sounds fresh today.
Yeah you're a real one! I remember that spot... I was in Perry Barr. But I remember this was a huge one in The Dome and I think JellyBaby nights... ah to be young again...
I 1st heard this back in 2000 and it’s the tune I play in my car on the way to the airport every time I go on my yearly holiday. It does make other appearances throughout the year though😂
Think this was designed to feel rare. White label, low q sound. Fair to say If I had it on vinyl it cant have been too rare as I could never get my hands rare records back in the 90s
I found this cd at a record store in Tucson AZ when I was 14! I have no idea how the hell I fell into this but I just remember being so in love with Stardust that I did a deep dive into music after that song. This remix opened many of my eyes ❤️
Excellent point! Cafe de Paris, Wed nights in 1998, absolutely slam jammin! I would walk in and just have the most amazing buzz from when I walked in to when I left. They played the most amazing disco house like this!!!! If only I had the DJ’s contact details:( He was absolutely amazing!! The best ever!!
Daft Punk used to start their DJ sets with this all the time in 1999, then they would mix afterwards another bootleg of a Thomas Bangalter-produced track from 1998, "Got Myself A Tonic"
One of my best mate and I most memorable moments of our raving careers - off our fucking pickle NYE 2006/07 at sanctuary, Birmingham and tall paul dropped this banger wesring my mate's leopard lrint ckwboy hatbthat had worked its way to the front od the stage 🎉
The mastering on the vinyl wasnt the best, as it was a bootleg. So that's probably your answer. I recorded it directly to CD using Technics 1210s and Pioneer DJM500, then ripped it on pc and uploaded.
DJM500 is an answer. Pretty shitty dj mixer from deep 90s. Also it's homework bootleg, don't expect professional quality. I've played this record million times, sounds fine in club!
VinylRichie is right the mastering is a shocker.. There was alot of Bootlegs that ripped it as well as it goes the quality diminished. The original was a one sided white label Stuntmasterz 'Holiday sounds better with you' 😉 still not fantastic but is the best of the bunch.
She did do it back in2001 but on the dvd version of the concert she cut it out. Probably to save money! Lol! I seen her live at the staple center and when she sang holiday music sounds better with you was remixed into it! Fucken awesome!

came across this earlier today and was wondering where it was from, of course it was thomas bangaltear
Dude, that was a great party but this is an actual vinyl record. The Bob Sinclair is on the flip side. White label.

may this never leave UA-cam regardless of the quality
❤️❤️❤️❤️ Played in all the clubs circa 1997-1999
Amen to that Samba...amen to that..xx
The levels are all over the shop - but it's the best mash up ever, so it just doesn't matter....
@@johnwright1641 its not lol
The quality is the way it was, ruff n ready ❤️
Daft Punk | Toronto | September, 1999 | 14,000 people | It's where I first heard this track. The best era of house music.
I almost want to subscribe to UA-cam premium instead of Spotify only because of this remix. This is when bootlegs can stand alone. This is the best ever. ❤
Quids inn Swansea 1998 unforgettable times
That stardust cue in the intro was so ahead of its time, majestic futuristic touch
Such an astute observation matey xx
Whoever mashed this up has an ear for perfection
Thomas Bangalter from daft punk did decades ago :))
I remember picking this bad boy up from HTFR in Birmingham back in the day. Couldn't wait to spin it that evening. Went down a treat. Still sounds fresh today.
Cheers to that
Will still be a hit today…

It's always rocked my world ❤️❤️😊🌍👌
Me it was the Dome in 98
Woke up with the intro in my head and I was like yeah I remember that 🥰🥰
Easily the best and most spectacular intro on any record produced ever!!
I first heard this at Club Universe in SF in early 2000 and it blew my mind then and there and it still does to this day.
I 1st heard this back in 2000 and it’s the tune I play in my car on the way to the airport every time I go on my yearly holiday. It does make other appearances throughout the year though😂
I still have this on a one sided white label vinyl I found in HMV many yrs ago.
Same. It cost me £8.
@@motherflange I'll give you £9 for it 😉
I can remember it being played on Radio 1 back in the day!
They got into bother for playing it & got told not to play it again, fekin pesky music police...
@@TonyOldskool I rember that!
it’s true- they interrupted this song to announce the Prince’s death
Take Me Harder (Cosmos VS Daft punk) and Music sounds better on Holiday, two of the best Bootlegs of all time.
If you haven't found it yet, voyager/wannabe bootleg mash up is worth a listen.
I still have my copy on vinyl
same! nothing to play it on tho.
Always had to increase the volume on my mixer when I played this vinyl. Was very quiet. Must have been a poor pressing.

Love this track. I have it on vinyl somewhere. I will have to search for it now and put it somewhere safe.
Makes me feel young again ;)
I’ve searched for this for years....thank you!
Tune, keeping me going during lockdown 3.0 !
Great samples mixed together . A nice track.
I have this on Vinyl from when I was 19. Reminds me of DTPM @The End 🤩
Omg!!!! I ADORED DTPM!!!!!!!
Memories! Definitely gave me a reason to celebrate at the time.
this kind of music ''sucks you into to club'' as you walk by. You won't even go for a drink as you need to dance first to this :-) :-)

Bar M Ibiza 1996. Absolute carnage! Have the original but this is better!
Still regret not buying myself a copy when it was on local auction site
Me too! A DJ offered it to me a fiver in 1998 and I declined:(
I have this too and still the best remix classic!

The guitar riff from "Music Sounds Better With You" is actually a sample from Madonna's "Holiday", so naturally they fit together.
@@marcolearmont9880 It was actually sampled from Chaka Khan - Fate. The sample is within the first five seconds of the song.
@@musicbyimpulsewhat’s crazy is that short clip is sped up and manages to carry this masterpiece
