There's one thing that Drag Race usually keep it consistent is the variety of genres of the lipsyncs during the season, so every queen could have a chance to get a song that's up their alley.

recent high school grad here. i did my final spanish project with a concept like this, except i did it with a different topic: competitive dance. i created a google form and hand typed the name of songs, the age group, the genre of the entry, and the size of the group. i went through my schedules of the dance competitions i went to this season and had over 1500 entries. it took me forever to write down the data and to make a consistent graph that will give accurate data. it was something i wanted to do for forever and im happy i was able to pass my spanish class with that.
curiously, RuPaul wants Mariah Carey songs but Mariah doesn't allow it to happen; i'm not sure why she gave them Emotions for the AS4 premiere, but if i remember correctly that's the only Mariah lipsync right? these stats would be different if Mariah was more open to have her body of work used on this tv show. Popstars like Ariana and Dua Lipa are quite the opposite and seem to actively want Drag Race to use their songs.

Season 1 definitely had 2 Dance-pop songs and i'm bothered it was missed
