- Makkah (Mecca), Saudi Arabia Join me on an unforgettable journey as I share my first impressions of Makkah (Mecca), the spiritual center of Islam! Starting off at the Makkah train station, I embark on a captivating adventure that takes me through the heart of this sacred city.
Follow along as I take a bus from the train station to Masjid al-Haram also known as the Sacred Mosque or the Great Mosque of Makkah (Mecca), is considered to be the most significant mosque in Islam., where I immerse myself in the vibrant atmosphere surrounding the Kaaba. Experience the awe-inspiring sights and sounds of this sacred area as pilgrims from around the world gather to worship and pray.
During my exploration, I also take a moment to purchase a phone SIM card, ensuring that I stay connected during my time in Makkah (Mecca). Afterward, I set out on foot to my hotel, taking in the bustling streets and breathtaking scenery along the way.
Join me as I check in to my hotel and prepare for the adventures that await in this enchanting city. As I get ready to perform Umrah, I reflect on the significance of this spiritual journey and the profound impact it has on millions of Muslims worldwide.

I went to Makkah a month before Ramadan and the busses from the railway station to the haram were free!

@@TravelingSoloLogs I’m from Jeddah and have been to Makkah 3 times since January… my last umrah was a month before Ramadan, not once did I ever pay for the bus from the railway station and back! I’m surprised they started charging for the bus ride, the ticket stand wasn’t even there before 😢 nevertheless I hope you had a great trip. Umrah maqboolah inshallah
