I looked it up on google this is the 1st answer Yes, if you start testing several days before ovulation, the test line on an ovulation test should get darker as you approach your LH surge. The test line, which is the second line on the test strip, indicates ovulation by showing that your body's luteinizing hormone (LH) levels are higher than normal. When the test line is as dark as or darker than the control line, which is the first line and indicates the test is working, you're likely ovulating or about to ovulate.

Yes the LH strip will get darker as you approach your period. That right there is why I stopped using LH test strips when testing for pregnancy because it definitely messes with my head and taking the excitement of testing for pregnancy away😢 Definitely do what works best for you, but in my opinion, I think it may be best to stop testing your LH surge after you get your peak just so it doesn’t mess with your head too. Praying for that positive! I know it’s coming soon!! ❤
Also, I think if someone is taking progesterone it makes the tests dark. I had very dark tests and was hopeful but then googled and the progesterone can be picked up on the lh tests too apparently.
Yes, temp will drop pretty low back to even baseline then I would know okay period is right here. - when pregnant I have higher temps , not insane high but just higher for sure, also have symptoms is great because then you confirm ovulation via symptoms along with test. Sounds crazy I know , but when I’m about to ovulate my sex drive flies Through the roof lol! I get egg white CM my body feels warmer then the normal - then I can add my results to all the tests I have taken which makes it very nice to confirm in different/multiple ways . ❤

My period is one day late and I have been feeling nauseous and not like myself but I took a test and it was negative. I am 13DPO. One app says my period is late and another one says it's not due for 2 days so I am not sure really. I also been cramping. Praying for you beautiful!!!
yes LH does rise and drop before your cycle starts, mine rises right before my period starts.
I'm praying everything works out for you. My best friend used to get sick when she would brush her teeth when she was pregnant she had to use kids toothpaste.

Some ppl don’t get a positive until a few days after their missed period girl!
Test again in 48 hours w SMU and see if you get a line.
I also highly reccomend you try the wondfo extra sensitive tests and the progesterone oil after ovulation!

Your symptoms may be pre period symptoms. I am hopeful every month based on my symptoms, so I decided to wait for my period to be 2 weeks late before I test. All my pre period symptoms are the same as pregnancy symptoms and I've had my period be 7 days late 2xs and be negative so from now on, I'll wait 2 weeks before I test.
If you take the test strip out of the first response stick and hold it to the light and if it has the red tint to the line it could mean you’re pregnant. I didn’t get a positive on the regular strip test until I was a little further along. The LH is pretty dark for your missed period so that also could be an indication that you can be pregnant.
Tampering with the test (ie taking it apart) voids the results of the test. There’s no need to take them apart.

I lost my first baby June 28th after 7 months ttc I was 8.5 weeks. Found out I am a Rh negative which can cause problems. Getting the shot soon then we are trying again. Just got back my first period since my miscarriage. We are trying for our rainbow baby in August. ❤
When I was pregrant I found out at 5 weeks 1 week after my missed period. Thought my period was coming biggest sign was sore breast.
Last cycle, I had an LH surge on the 4th day of my period and I freaked out😂
Am I the only one that saw faint lines on a few on those test?
Hi! Honestly, I see very faint lines on easy at home, Frida, and first response, but I know these can have Indents. Hoping it's real and they get darker! Or if it doesn't get darker, it possible it's also a chemical pregnancy that just barely started to stick before leaving.
OPKs: I have had them be positive before period both when I was pregnant and not pregnant. When I WAS pregnant I got a positive hcg at 8dpo in the evening, and the OPK was getting darker but not fully positive until 11dpo. Best wishes to you!
Yep those frers lately have major indent lines on every test once taken. So frustrating
The FRERs are showing those lines right now. I thought I was having another CP, but my HCG beta was negative and I ended up not being pregnant. Super sketchy tests right now!

Squinter on first response looks real to me!! To be fair, I didn’t get my first faint positive until 5 or 6 days late on my period, and I was testing from 5 days prior to all the way to 3 days late. Thought I was for sure out, and then period never came, tested 5 or 6 days (can’t remember which) late and was a faint positive! Maybe I ovulated late and implanted late I’m not sure! But I’m 20 weeks now with a low risk baby boy!
An indent line would be colorless and the line on first response looks to have some color to it! Def not an indent line and not long enough for it to be an evap line. Fingers crossed for you

I've been ttc my first baby for a little over 10 years and after temping for sooo long I started out with my baby dropping 2 days before my period but the past 4 or so years it's been dropping a day before my period is over so it all depends 🤷🏼♀️ my endocrinologist diagnosed my husband and I with unexplained infertility in 2018, about 4 years after a miscarriage at 12 weeks in 2016 😐😕 this journey is super tough but i just wished I at least had one little human to show what i never got as a child... I'm 37 so my time is closing and it sucks

What’s the point in taking so many tests at the same time? Don’t they all do the same thing?
Brands have varying sensitivity levels. For instance if you are very early one test may pick it up but the levels may be below the threshold for another test that would still show negative
Don’t do so many tests this late in the cycle that will save money.

By 11 dpo you should have very dark lines
That’s absolutely untrue. Just because that happens to some women doesn’t mean that’s the norm. Everyone is different and there are many people who don’t test positive until after missed period. Implantation can even happen up to 12DPO so you would have no line at 11DPO. This is absolute nonsense. Especially you claiming that the lines should be dark.
@@lilienburesova1522 I have 5 kids the positive test shows as soon as 2 weeks , why do they make clear blue tests that say pregnant 1-2 weeks if it's not true. I know what I'm talking about hun
@@MercedesRaeBrown no, you don’t. Just because you have 5 kids and you tested positive at that time doesn’t mean everyone does. There is literally thousands of videos on UA-cam alone of women who were pregnant and had successful pregnancies and didn’t test positive until 14DPO and beyond. The fact that you can implant 12DPO is also correct so the fact that you are saying 11DPO should have dark lines is totally incorrect. The digital I wouldn’t even bring up. So many women have positive pregnancy tests and are getting negative results as these generally don’t show positive result until you have a little bit hcg built up.
