I hope you enjoyed today's video in Japan~ Please share this video and give it a like to support 🌸 I was so excited for this trip with easy regulations to enter both japan and korea again. If you are also going to Kyoto, I am curious to know your must-visit places!
Hello, wish you a happy new year as well! 😻 Thanks for your loving my content~ I've not been in my best condition lately but I am soon coming back, sorry for the wait.. have a great day! ♥️
Omawo, thank you so much ! Especially for showing your beautiful face & seriously stylish white shoes w/ white bag ! Someday my wish is to travel to Kyoto & wear Kimono or Yukata!!
I hope you can fulfill your wish soon! And thank you so much for the compliments 😎 Shoes are from Bocage (french brand), they don’t sell them anymore in this color, better take care of them reallyyy well hehe
Very nice video. I was last in Kyoto 43 years ago when i was an exchange student in Kumamoto. Going back to Japan in September... bringing my adult children to see my "second home". 🙂
Such a lovely and calming video, the cheery blossoms look so pretty! im heading to kyoto next jan so i won’t be able to catch them:”) But the atmosphere and vibe in Kyoto feels so relaxing, and the food looks delicious! Thank you for sharing your experience in Kyoto it will help me plan my trip~💕
Such a sweet comment, thank you!! I love Kyoto for that, I wish you a safe travel there 💖 And, don't worry Japan is wonderful in all seasons! Do you also plan on visiting other cities? This December, I will visit Tokyo with a stop to see Mt. Fuji, hopefully this will inspire you too 😁
I loved your vlog. We were only able to spend 1 day in Kyoto, but I hope that during our next trip we can spend a few more days because there is so much to see and like you said, the scenery is beautiful and it's very peaceful.
Thank you so much~ I am glad you had a good experience! Lately Kyoto has been controversial with over tourism but it’s still so worth visiting, especially if you find quiet areas, it’s so so so beautiful 💕
I was just in Kyoto in early April. It rained and I got sick. :( I only got to visit the Imperial Palace, Philosopher's Path and Fushimi Inari Shrine, which I loved! There was so much more I wanted to see! I have to go back!
Oh yes, catching the cherry blossoms is already hard, but add the rain to it... haha But that's great you still got to visit those places! I should go there too one day, thank you for sharing ✨
Thank you so much!! Yes I also loved this city so much that I was sure to come back. After the second time, I feel I can come back again and again haha 🤭
I’m leaving Kyoto tomorrow after 10 days, never run out of fun things to do here. Going to Osaka next :) Love the video, gives a good impression of Kyoto! ありがとうございます
Thank you so much 😊 I feel the same! Kyoto is so vast and every places you look at is beautiful. I only went to main areas in this trip, I wish to visit more another time! Have fun in Osaka ^^
Watching this video because I've recently come back from my Japan trip, which included Kyoto. It was a wonderful place that I enjoyed a lot (both Kyoto and the rest of Japan I saw), though I regret not being able to see more because there was simply too much and not enough time or energy. 😣 At least I can use these vlogs to make note of places for next time. 😊
So relatable! I also rewatched this video to remind me how wonderful Kyoto feels. There is always more to discover and more reasons to come again 🤭 thank you for your comment, sweet day to you!
Thanks for posting this informative video 😊 it was so calming, one of the best imo 👍🏻 How much was the Okonimiyaki omelette? That’s one food I really want to try when I visit Japan in November...minus the moving things on top lol. Did you have a JR pass as I’m wondering whether we can use it to get around or travel to places like Arashiyama or Nara during our stay in Kyoto? ❤
Hi! Thank you for your comment, that's so sweet ♥️ The simple with pork slices okonomiyaki was around 900¥. In this restaurant, they can also grill some noodles and wagyu for around 3000¥ if you want to get a bit fancy but still in a budget. I recommend going early like 6pm to avoid waiting too long. About the JR pass I didn't need one for this trip. Both Arashiyama and Nara are easy to get using the transportation card (without using JR lines but local lines). Arashiyama was by bus and tram (around 800¥ round trip), Nara you can use the local Kintetsu line from Kyoto Station (around 1800¥ round trip). I would personally get a JR pass if you want to travel to/from Tokyo 😊
Small question here we are going to a trip to Japan in mid July and want to visit Osaka, Tokyo and Kyoto in 9 days do u have any suggestions to how long we should stay at one place it would de really helpful! And one more question because of the transportation is the jr pas worth it or should we just use something else? Btw ur video was so well made ❤
Hello! Thank you so much ♥️ Yes I have suggestions and answers for you :) adaysophie.com/trip-to-japan/ I wrote this guide recently. I was inspired by the questions I got. If you are looking for more info, please tell me ^^ Hope you have a fun & safe trip!
@@adaysophie Tysm for ur helpful informations! One last question: the ic cards only cover some busses and subways right? So did u use one or how did u get from destination to destination. Cuz this whole subway system seems sp confusing 😭😭.
@@urfavchicken_chicken Haha true 🤭 Nowadays you can use Suica and Icoca cards for both Tokyo & Kansai regions (Kyoto, Osaka, Nara). JR pass could work too with JR lines but only for touristy destinations. If you go in the countryside or residential areas, there might not be JR lines to go there, it's best to always have cash on you. For my trip I bought an Icoca at Kyoto Station. My huband used his Suica card from previous trip :) Because I saw many articles that comes up first on Google that were not up to date anymore, I understand what you mean and I wrote more details in the article linked!
Hi! It was around 3 pm after lunch. The famous insta spot is crowded but as you walk it will have lesser people :) Enjoy your trip! Thank you for your comment.
My relative lives in Osaka but every time I visit she wants to meet in Kyoto instead. I can recommend the Kanji Museum in Gion. It's actually really fun and they give you lots of free magazines and stuff on the second floor. (but,... ummmm,... I didn't like the sushi in Kyoto,... they don't have an ocean so I think everything was kind of mediocre). Hiking to Doshisha Cemetery was really fun and interesting. I really liked London Books in Arashiyama (it was my first time seeing the complete works of Dostoevsky in Japanese ! (^_^) ).
Thank you for your recommendations, it all looks great :D I shall come to Osakaone day. Since the last time I visited, many good restaurants opened and I've been curious to try them out!
