- Here I show you an abstract picture in blue-turquoise tones. I worked with the spatula and brush.
This technique is also suitable for beginners. You see in the video how I work it out. You can do it the same way or completely different. Use your colors.
Technology:
I primed the canvas with a homemade paste. See links below. After the surface is dry, I start with a first coat of paint. This is just to see the color, how the color reacts to the canvas, what the color does to the structure.
I roughly apply the paint with the brush. Then I take the dry bristle brush and paint over the color. This creates soft transitions. The brush strokes disappear from the job. Batches can be wiped off with a dry or wet cloth. It's the same technique as the Sky Cloud Sea videos. There, the technique is again explained exactly. It is also the same technique as in the videos on the slide (video foil: • abstraktes Bild in Acr... )
. The many layers of color create depths in the picture. These depths and heights make the picture interesting or express the picture. With only one or two layers of paint, the picture looks flat. You can not fathom it. It is quick to capture and therefore uninteresting. With the many layers of color the viewer begins to fathom the picture. The viewer wants to discover it. It also awakens his curiosity. And you have more fun painting;)
Pigments:
There were always questions about the pigments. I could not create a video yet. You see in the video but how I use pigments. I mix the color beforehand (pigments and acrylic binders) or I give the pigments in a finished acrylic paint or in a ready-mixed Arcylfarbe.
How did I get to the picture?
I just felt that way. No idea in the head. Let her dance on the screen. Dive a bit and let five be straight ... What happens to me when I paint? I discover the surfaces I like and use new ideas. This is a bit difficult, then I come from one to the next and want to paint everything and everything at once. I think then: ahh how nice, I have to do that as a whole picture ... that felt a hundred times in a picture. Then there is some confusion because I can only paint one picture. The good feeling can sometimes tip over and cause trouble. I have to push this aside and push it away, continue to paint and wait until the next one takes me to where I want to go. I do not know where to go. In the end, I have to like it.
I have taken colors:
Real blue, white, Parisian blue (dark blue), French ocher, turquoise (goes blue), azure green (turquoise goes green), black

Auch wieder ein super schönes Bild. Man lernt bei dir wirklich viele Dinge. Ich wäre zum Beispiel nie auf die Idee gekommen, den Rand an der Seite dunkel zu halten, obwohl die Fläche oben hell ist, aber der Kontrast ist irre 👍😍
"the good feeling can sometimes tip over and cause trouble" is the BEST way to describe how i feel sometimes too! I'll suddenly have lots of ideas and bounce back and forth between what to do next...then my brain gets a bit frazzled. But, there are so many things that inspire...like your work!! Eine schöne Entstehungsgeschichte für dieses Bild. Deine Erklärungen sind so einfach zu verstehen und das macht echt Lust auf mehr. Man kann so vielseitig mit deinen Videos arbeiten , da sie einem viel Raum für die eigenen Ideen lassen.

Sehr inspirierend und hilfreich. Mir geht es oft auch so, dass ich denke:“oh, das gefällt mir.“ und dann traue ich mich nicht mehr drüber zu malen, male drum rum und dann gefällt mir das restliche nicht. Es gehört also eine Portion Mut dazu. Es ist sehr hilfreich, sich wieder davon zu lösen, dass es etwas (bestimmtes) werden soll. Tatsächlich drehe ich dann meine Bilder auch, um etwas anderes zu sehen. Oder stelle es ein halbes Jahr in die Ecke und Male was neues, lach. Deine Bilder sind wunderschön und sehr ausdrucksstark, mache bitte noch viele Videos davon.

Eigentlich fotografiere ich ja in erster Linie. Aber seit kurzem zieht es mich auch zum Malen. Aber bisher waren die Ergebnisse nicht so wie ich es mir gewünscht habe. Seit gestern habe ich Dein tolles Buch und hab mich gestern Abend mal daran gewagt, weil dieses Bild was Du hier zeigst genau dem entspricht was ich mir für mein Badezimmer gewünscht habe. Hallo liebe Petra, dieses Video habe ich mir jetzt eben nochmal sehr intensiv angesehen und es hat für mich einen großen Lerneffekt!! Die verschiedenen Schichtungen sind ziemlich interessant. Auch nochmal zu hören und sehen, dass Du Pigmente in die angerührte Farbe gibst ist sehr interessant!! Wischen und Hervorholen von den tieferen Farben habe ich doch sehr gut verinnerlicht. Wow. Ich habe dich gerade erst entdeckt und bin total begeistert von deinen Videos und den Bildern. Super klasse erklärt mit einer Ruhe und einer sehr harmonischen Stimme. Da macht ja nur das Zuschauen schon Spaß. Sehr schönes Bild. Ich habe eine Frage: Wie oft lässt du das Bild zwischen durch trocken? Vor allem wegen den ganzen Schichten die aufgetragen und wieder abgenommen werden. Und geht dir durch das ganze zwischendurch wischen und Farbe abnehmen nicht auch irgendwann die Struktur kaputt? Viele Grüße
