I have hunted and fished for sport as well as to feed my family. This is neither. Absolutely horrendous that this could be considered acceptable anywhere. Give up the guns and powered boats if you feel you have some sort of “traditional native sovereignty” that enables you to harvest resources for the community. Traditional rights should equate to traditional means. Not the wholesale slaughter of porpoises/dolphins in a barrel.
You gave that right to be condescendingly righteous when you stole their land, Now... this IS Their Land, You should worry about yourself, rather than shun a culture..

I just lost a great deal of respect for a culture I once greatly admired. This is not respect towards nature that feeds you. I bet 2 to 3 generations back would be very ashamed of this current practice. Take what is needed for survival of your people, do so in a way that kills swiftly and compassionately. What ever the laws say you can do doesn’t make it morally or ethically right. I will try not to judge as that’s between y’all and God. But as a fellow human I am ashamed of what I just witnessed. Very sad
