Where did you get the idea she forged the letter?
This is the first I've heard that Ruyi was the author of that letter. If it's true - Ruyi knew this would drive Jin insane.
@@dukecity7688 The letter was in a previous scene with the emperor. Ruyi even says that Jia is familiar with his handwriting, so she knows it's authentic.
If you take a closer look at that previous scene you’ll see the genuine letter had a different cover. Also we know from earlier (with the bracelet scandal) that Ruyi can imitate other people’s handwritings. However Ruyi most likely just produced a copy of the genuine letter so it would be unfair to say she manipulated the content
