How on earth did they think this was going to end for the better?
How can they ensure a jury in this trial. People in this town won't say anything bad about them for fear of retaliation. The "misfits" probably think they will get off because they have intimidated everyone in town.
Sometimes you cannot.. But perhaps that's why the framers of the constitution meant by " jury of your Peers."
