Whoa! I've owned this exact car for the past 2.5 years I purchased it from Kyler after tracking it in a session at the NYST with his group! Pretty cool you've driven it now it's even more special to me 😎. I just recently picked up a Lotus 3-Eleven to go along with it.
An ideal track for any Lotus this one. Unfortunately for me, I am surrounded by MSV tracks, who are definitely not Evora friendly. I don't know how you find the GT430 but although it measured similar numbers, my 400 sounds quite a bit louder than James' Exige 430 with the Titanium pipes. Bassier, but again not sure it makes a difference for track. I also found that US spec 400s have an extra catalytic converter and are noticeably quieter than the European cars.
Where there's a will, there's a track... might cost a bit more but it's worth it. Many seem to get immediately anxious about driving on a track but it's a massively safer place to drive fast than the road.
Ha I know what you mean, I've seen people who are absolute hooligans on the road turn into the most timid and nervous track drivers. There's more track content coming from the channel including more Lotus stuff from a very famous track. Where are you going with the GT430 next? I know you've done Combe a few times, Silverstone should be alright for it too I think.
There is no excuse for going by without permission. If they haven't pointed you past I can't help but think they haven't seen you, and in that case you don't wanna be surprising someone by passing them. This was pretty much the only time I got stuck in "traffic" on this track day
MrKeyboardCommando lol however is it a noble deed to thrash a kind gentle man who has loaned you his pride and joy🤷🏽♂️ Or is a wise man that drives another mans car because they don’t want to destroy there own 🤣
@@harald.370 The track doesn't change every time you do a lap, and if it's not his car, what's the problem❓With 400hp under his right hoof, I should hope he overtook people‼️ You forgot to mention the convoy he was leading.
Great job, you acquitted yourself quite well. Lovely little track and so fortunate you got to run it in an Evora no less, lucky you!
Lucky me indeed

Kyler is a great guy! Driving this was an amazing experience. The US Lotus community is so welcoming
I was just at this track for the first time in my brz what a fun tricky track alot of off camber angles
Going to this event this Friday cant wait
What a great looking track
Great 👍 video James
It's not very hard to take an Evora on track in the UK. Looking forward to another one next week. Track looks great, what a treat.

I watch all your vides....... you seem to have a taken on a American accent there in parts aye!! ha
Certainly it's a pretty track - pretty lethal too because of those trees. I doubt the RAC MSA would grant it a competition licence.
I wouldn't fancy having an accident there, but I can say that of a lot of tracks.
Not sure you need to wait for a written invitation before passing other cars...
You need to wait for a point by. Track etiquette
On a long and very wide straight... when the other car is barely moving? We British tend to be commendably polite but there is a limit.

I'm sure you're right. Just as well he did eventually remember to 'point you by' otherwise you'd probably still be behind him now :)
Yup. Bear in mind I was in the "slow" group, the drivers are generally more inexperienced
Subaru Crosstrek is not an automatic. It is a CVT.
was this not the event from august 9th. 2 months ago? never mind "on track at last !!" you should of put " Finally Edited at last !! "
Yep, I have been a bit behind with the edits for various reasons
Great film but it is missing your into and end ‘titles’ which add a really professional feel to your content.
Yes there wasn't an easy way to integrate them i was happy with, but they will return
You dropped your T's from lotus, the accent is rubbing off, happened to me too
Makes the video easier for them to understand :)
Hey, Fangio, did you ever get above 30mph⁉️🤨🤨🤨

JB. Thrash them. Then thrash them some more‼️🧐🧐🧐
MrKeyboardCommando 😆⚙️👍🏽
For a new track in a car that isn’t yours this was really OK. He overtook people for Pete’s sake!
