Watching your recent Kara marathon and all the 2nd Gen girl group reactions in general has been a very pleasant trip down memory lane and all the way back to my childhood and young teens. You actually got all the members' names correctly at the end of this video. Seungyeon was the one with the crazy vocal runs and high notes, Jiyoung the redhead to the far left who was having the time of her life during this Killing Voice and Youngji the member to the far right next to Nicole. Welcome to the fandom, btw. Kara might've been around for a long time already but it's never too late to become a Kamilia. Trust me, you won't regret it!!! 😁

I heard Kara don't really sing songs from their debut era because of how vocally demanding they were and that Sunghee was really the only one who could hit the notes. I do sometimes wonder what their songs would have been like if she stayed, imagine if they went from 4 to 6 members after debut.

To be honest, watching your KARA journey and also rewatching their music videos with you got me reminiscing again on how much I love Seungyeon [second girl from the left[ and Youngji [farthest girl from the right] since I was a kid (like one-digit age kid).
You should definetly check out their mama 2022 performances, if you are interested, they slayed so hard on that. Especially performance wise. Nicole and Gyuri killeddd me. They did a medley of their most popular songs (with dark concept) & their first live performance of when I move.
I was really looking forward to this one because I anticipated you would notice how strong a voice Seungyeon has, especially when she’s in her belt range, and you didn’t disappoint. She’s always been my fave member of Kara, but in recent years all five of the currently active members have matured into very good vocalists, and it really shows here … as does how much fun they have together, especially the members that hadn’t worked together until the last couple of years, which warms my heart. (And RIP forever member Goo Hara.)
This brings back so many good memories, nice to rewatch it through this reaction. too bad they seemed to have erased their actual debut era(even if it's not all members' debut, but Youngji wasn't there during Rock U either and majority members were in the debut era and if it's for the vocals i'm sure Seungyeon n maybe Gyuri are capable of covering Sunghee's part even if Sunghee is arguably the best vocalist they ever had, and Gyuri isn't the most stable though she's still my fav) but when Honey came up...just goosebumps, it was their first win and at that time, their title track was Pretty Girl i think and Honey was follow up track that was voted by fans to be promoted and of course, fans know best. funfact is that the original version of Honey was even more upbeat but they made changes when released it as promotional track with mv. and about Run Away, it was promoted for KARA's drama Secret Love where each member got their own separate oneshot drama as the main character. would really recommend that drama. and rewatching this killing voice with lyrics, they actually have better uplifting lyrics for many songs without being cringe than many songs that tried to do the 'empowerment' lyrics. i'm just proud that KARA is my first girlgroup(became a fan late by a couple weeks but somewhere during their debut time), maybe not my ult group now but still one of my top girlgroups. and their music overall is still up there...from my many years of listening to various groups...they're just..consistent. enjoyed the reaction. also, love how Nicole and Jiyoung especially just brought up the energy and mood here even though they left from Mamma Mia and came back for their reunion/anniversary comeback many years later. it felt like nothing really changed despite the member changes, which shows how nice they're all to be able to adapt to the many changes naturally, not many groups can go through all the changes with such grace.

the original maknae was Nicole until Jiyoung joined. Then Youngji became the maknae and now both JY and YJ are the maknaes
