Playing devil's advocate, some parents would say "i worked hard so my kids wouldn't have to". Obviously there should a level of grounding and being self aware of your privilege and not allowing it to overtake your personality but that's part of the parenting process. Also, who knows, maybe its not sustainable long term but for the 3-5 years that it lasts, you rack up and then get out. I would imagine the kid doesn't agree with everything his parents want but being that young, he probably grew up watching youtube and wanted to do it anyway.

Family channels do work hard to make their money but they doing it the wrong way…there has to be a balance between tv shows and reality or it can mentality fuck the kid up…for example kids actors

clearly the problem is not how much money they have, but if u earned them and u know that it takes lot of time and energy, u have to teach that to your kids. They are just kids so they can't know, but u have to teach them in order to let them grow in the right way. This channel doesn't even feel like a program/series anymore, it just feels like you're in the room with them watching the video and talking about it
The thing about most family channels is that they lack balance. Their entire family, is just we have a family channel. I’ve seen some with good balance, where they only post once in a while and the videos are only of outings(to the beach, or on vacation) or the kids playing video games with the whole family and stuff. Then they’re channels like these that record every single thing, to ridiculous extremes. Ofcourse the more balanced channels have very little subs and make less money though.

I agree with everything that there saying. While watching the video, I also couldnt help but think about how its effecting the younger generation that watches their videos. I could only imagine how it effects their expectations on life. Content like that being publicized will only prolong the endless cycle. It will never end.
Public polls say that ‘ influencer’ such as UA-cam channels , Instagram models , etc . is the most wanted jobs by children and adolescents.

What these guys are saying is true af! My family isn’t “loaded” but we are on the higher end of middle class. When I was a kid my parents would spoil me and purchase me things I really wanted. There was a point where I was desensitized to a lot of stuff… Now as an adult who works and stuff and I have to buy my own stuff it’s like way different! I actually look forward to buying stuff on my own with my money. Even the little things that make me happy

These channels work through the audience of kids aged 8-13ish. I remember watching these types of family channels and looking at the kids and their excessive wealth and materialism in awe and jealously. It is these emotions and a child’s inability to discern their acting and melodrama which makes them appeal so much.
Absolutely love this video, I truly believe when you have everything, it loses it's value. $1 to a homeless person is everything to them, $1 to the average person isn't much. $10,000 to the average person is a lot of money to be invested, while $10,000 to rich people is their grocery costs. I'm glad I grew up in a middle-class family where Christmas truly meant something, and getting the best iPhone and best computer as the best because it truly felt like I worked hard for it. I feel like the feeling of being rewarded, or happy, and that you earned it is worth Or more than any amount of money can bring you.

This family channel called 7 passengers or something like that shows great examples of what you guys were talking about. The kids were tired of the UA-camr life and the parents got upset and took away their things and sent some of them away to summer camps and stuff.

the mom actually took the child from the real dad so they could make youtube videos. she litterally took him from mexico and the dad is still in mexico and the kid made a video asking for help to let him stay with his dad but the video didnt get out so the mom took him because they werent living in the right living conditions. its a crazy story now the kid is being minuplulated into making videos every day its sad all for money

Fun fact: the royalty family has a dark side to them. Ali is ferran’s step father and his real father is somewhere else idk where. Ferran’s mother, andrea cheated on ferran’s real dad for ali and they took ferran away from his real dad and doesn’t allow his real dad to visit him.
