I understand the logic behind that.. at first I thought the same thing (ngl).. but that way of thinking, kinda reminds me of a particular storyline on Game Of Thrones.. after Cersei was arrested, she was completely shocked, especially bc she was framing Margaery, for a crime THAT SHE ACTUALLY DID. The High Sparrow saw through it and had Cersei put in a cell of her own. She was kept there until she confessed to a certain number of crimes of her own, too. she thought she could get away w only covering a small fraction of her sins. Needless to say, this didn’t fly w him. He suspected she was guilty for a list of other sins/crimes (he was right in everything he listed, btw). He released her, but on one condition that was… ummm (unless you can handle a certain level of cruelty, DONT look it up! if you don’t know what I’m talking abt, consider yourself lucky! can’t unsee tht).. it was disturbing. I cant say I didn’t feel any sympathy for her, evn tho she was a horrible person.. the High Sparrow was then no better. Anyway, after that, Cersei wanted payback where she, then, pretty much set off a wild-fire, killing both the High Sparrow and Margaery (I mean she killed numerous ppl from said explosion, but those were two of the ppl on her s-list). But, I’d like to think she didn’t plan on wht happened next, but honestly… idk! Margaery wasn’t just some young girl, tht she wanted to frame, for no reason… Margaery and her son, Tommen (I believe her youngest son), happened to be in love.. BALLS DEEP! so much so, tht after learning of the explosion - the love of his life BEING KILLED, especially- he joins them shortly after by leaping out of a window and falling to his death. I didn’t evn know this, at first, he took off the crown before jumping out to his death. Pretty much sending his mom a message, indicating that he knw it was her, and no longer wanted to be associated w his royal family.. prior to his $u*(id£. Just twisted the knife, evn more. I’d like to believe she didn’t think of that.. and deeply regrets what she did.. i felt like she had remorse, but she couldn’t show that and had to just block it out bc it was too painful (thts wht I’d like to believe). I hope she didn’t want her actions to result in her losing her only living child, at the time.. But thts all revenge does! Doesn’t matter if you were wronged.. wrong is still wrong! Hold onto your character, before your pride.. you’ll feel better in the end
