You're super gifted with languages, which implies you have a good ear. Your Japanese pronunciation is classy, elegant, and near-native. Vocab and grammar are undoubtedly important for mastering any language, but I think vowel sounds and pitch-accent (aka イントネーション) is more important for Japanese conversational skills. We've heard all varieties of Japanese spoken by people from China, and I've always had the suspicion that perhaps the regional Chinese dialect in China may also affect the easiness or difficulty of Japanese pronunciation.
I'm sure it's just a typo but it's『自己(じこ)』紹介。The same word should exist in Chinese, since I recall hearing in college about the harsh 『自己批判』practice during a specific decade. I'm sure your grandparents' generation can tell you all about the stories from that era.

Sorry for the mistake there! Thanks for pointing it out. Still needs to work on my Japanese:) It's definitely easier for mandarin speakers to learn Japanese since there are many similar kanji characters and pronunciations.

It's hard to summarize it in a few sentences but I will try! As an introvert, when I lived in Tokyo, I felt very comfortable because people there respected each other's boundaries. Japan is known for its cleanliness and convenience. Even when I didn't have friends in the city, there were many places and activities that I could go and enjoy on my own. In terms of my school experience, there were tons of welcoming events that allow us to make friends with locals. I didn't get to enjoy the clubs because covid happened and my term ended early. Overall, I would definitely live in Japan again if I have the chance in the future:)
