In today's video we've gathered 6 contestants that all claim to be hunters, but only one of them is telling the truth. Over the course of 5 rounds we will vote one person out until there's only one left remaining. If that person is the hunter main, then we win, but if they're one of the 5 imposters, then we lose! In all fairness, I think 90% of Hunters didn’t know about the other melee ability. Combination Blow is just…better.
The fact i know it's a disorienting blow tells you im a warlock lol
your right since its been the staple melee for the past 2 or 3 years now for arc hunters even if in recent season it hasnt been as strong.
Combo blow with liars handshake is dangerous, as well as melee mods. But again, still takes a lot more risk than something like seismic strike.
Disorienting Blow + Blink + Sixth Coyote = Amplified for days.

True Hunter Main Answer: I max out mobility for dodges, and I never remove the Vanguard Dare Cloak, have a warlock and titan, but never uses them. That is literally just me in general, the hunter main himself
As a hunter main, i only use radiant warlock for gms every once in a while, and sometimes i play arc titan with lion rampant in low tier content because i dig the movement.

Memory of cayde cloak, bond, and mark are what stay permanently to my guardians. Not vanguard dare but boy it's basically the same thing

Seriously think Toad and his friends make some of the best D2 content on UA-cam. They have so many good, interesting and unique content ideas. Not to mention their vibe is just so good and feels like a ton of good friends goofing off in every video. They've inspired a lot of my own clan's goofy raids (laser pointers, medieval, etc) and I'm so glad to see Toad's channel growing!
Arturo was 100% either a Hunter main or best friends with one awhile ago, but all his knowledge of Hunters post-WQ comes from streamers. Dead giveaway was him bringing up the old middle tree Nightstalker ability when he was talking about invis.

The moral of the story is that Inferno needs to be protected at all costs. Great vid as always!
Wasn't sure until the choice of exotics was brought up. The biggest reason to use Assassin Cowl is because the Hunter kit while really good for agressive moves...is a little bit lacking on survivability department. So stuff to help us tank or heal becomes really strong options for us.

Hunter Main here. I guessed wrong, but after the reveal I feel I understand how you can tell who was the real Hunter. The winner answered as casually as I would have. I ain't no build-creator, stat-tracking, meta-guru. I just like being a little rat when I can and just get shit done as a Hunter, while also being told that Hunters don't exist by one of my friends, who's a Titan... so no surprise there. So yeah, Hunters sorta fall into two extremes; either just vibing or egotist.
Other than that, I'd love to see more of this imposter game!

I am a Hunter main and I love helping other players. Like, I'm a Hunter main, yet I've never completed a Raid because I never have a team. Edit: I also think Hunters get some good stuff because we have to spec into one stat so much in order to play well.

I spent a lot of the video trying to figure out what other mains they each could be to help make my takes less one-sided. Kore got me hung up between Titan and Lock... but definitely not Hunter. I ultimately thought they were a chill titan lol.
Arturo played that so so well, but that effing eager edge on his back was screaming warlock the whole time. Same thing with the briar*bands* which I'm 90% sure he said incorrectly on purpose.
I just couldn't think of what else Solstrix could be. He seemed like he knows his hunter pretty well but just doesn't play the game a ton. Freaked myself out picking against the judges at the end but the hype of getting it was so good.

These were fun questions so I followed along with my own answers.
Hunter main. Gambit. Dead Man's Tale. I like Bungie but I am currently salty about the YAS nerf. Would probably ignore the invite unless I knew someone in the fireteam. Bows. Aggressive Burst. Fancy Sit. Bad at snipers. Honestly all of the gauntlets this season are pretty cool. Black shaders are good but they need one accent color. I miss invis being really strong. I have never cared about Stomp-EE5. Wax. I have no idea what my K/D is. Athrys's Embrace, Raiden Flux, Mechaneer's Tricksleeves. Weighted Throwing Knife, specifically with Athrys's. No one has ever used the other Arcstrider melee. Lucky Pants. Warden's Law. I didn't realize Omnioculus got nerfed. Yes played D1. Solo laneing with DMT or Le Monarque. Triple jump is the only good jump in the game.

assassins cowl, combination blow, and that aftershock augment on stridebreaker in pvp, you can 1 shot anyone on crucible if you get 4x combination blow and you go invis, such a fun combo

That arc melee question actually got me as a Hunter main. I know what it does, but combination blow is just better when using either Assassin’s cowl in pve or something simple like Liar’s in pvp or pve. Some of the most fun I’ve had is going combo blow with asssassin’s in second encounter of the Ghosts dungeon. You’re an orb factory and you never die.
The mention of caboose from red vs blue had me grinning that is literally the perfect way to describe Inferno 😂

That through me off. As a hunter main, there were questions that I could go on forever. If the young amakaras spine ( I hope I spelled that right ) was brought up I would of gone on a rant about it. Man I hated the nerf they did to it, it ruins my grenade build.
