I've been watching you every night for a few weeks, when I get comfy to relax I go on a binge fest... I watch about 5 or so a night.. I have enjoyed every minute and I've wrote quite a few recipes down..
You absolutely must start grading meals by how many eye brow raises that Stephen gives a meal!!! Our family literally counts his eye brow raises when he tastes a meal. If he really likes it you sometimes get as many as 5 or 6 eye brow raises! 🤨

Take out the sour cream and use chicken broth and milk or cream and you have chicken ala king which is great over biscuits and mashed potatoes or dumplings. Don't add the potatoes in, simply make them as mashed and leave the sauce with carrots, onions, celery and chicken and of course things like salt, pepper, parsley and seasonings (an Italian blend is great). I shred the chicken though, not cube it for ala king. My fave is over biscuits but one can do it over all three if you want to really indulge or offer options to guests or family members :) Egg noodles are another option.
Just an easy variation that's quite simple and for those who don't like sour cream or ranch seasoning or if one doesn't have those items.
I like to add corn to mine as well. Some people add peas.
Just got both buttermilk and flaky big refrigerator biscuits at Aldi's for this dish and going to do a hamburger gravy later in the week. They were fully stocked, no shortage there. Different state though.

I like that these batches of soup aren’t enormous..there is only two of us and usually crockpot recipes are too big and don’t always taste the same with I half them…these today look like they will cover us for two nights so how great is that! I really enjoy your videos…too many of the other channels personalities “ try” to hard and seem overwhelming, you have a calming demeanor which I appreciate.

That chicken stew looks like the best dinner for a cold cozy night
I was thinking biscuits and gravy. It looks very, very good.
Try this biscuit recipe, 2 cups selfrising flour, cut in 1/4 th cup of butter or crisco. and 2/3 rd cup of buttermilk, now you can roll these out, or just pour the dough into a square brownie pan, take your veggie scooper and cut the size you want, I make 9 biscuits.
I now have a cheese grater like yours and love it! But did you know it grates frozen butter perfectly for biscuits and pie crust? Mind. Blown! Thank you!

Mandy, If you don’t twist your biscuit cutter when you cut them, they will rise higher. Twisting seals the edges of the dough together, which keeps them from rising.

Mandy I made the Creamy Chicken Stew on the stove , I oar boiled all veggies, use 2 cans of dough, extra sour cream and crushed garlic .and a bit if broth to de glaze pot I browned tge chicken well .I bought biscuits from Popeyes. OMG SO GOOD !!!!!

If your husband said he loved the potato and ham soup I will def be making that .. ever since you posted the Tuscan white bean soup a few years ago and he said it was probably the best soup he ever had I made it and it is one of the best soups I have ever made and make it often now! You read my mind Mandy! The weather is getting colder here in Oklahoma and I am ready for all the cozy food! Plus I have been on the hunt for as many crockpot recipes I can find! I have about 3 hours in the evening to cook dinner, clean the kitchen, do homework with my kids, baths, bedtime routine & do a load of laundry. Crockpot meals save my life!

We made the Ham and Potatoe Chowder and I’ve got to say OMG!!! It was absolutely delicious. We substituted the ham for smoked sausage. It was amazing. We’re going to add shrimp to it the next time that we make this. Thanks for the amazing dinner ideas!!! 😋

I LOVE slow cooker meals! I get terrible migraines, sometimes up to four times a week, and they usually hit around noon or later. If I can do the prep for dinner in the morning, I know I'll be able to have something homemade for my hubby and two sons in the evening. My husband doesn't mind cooking, but since he works all day, I really like to take the chore of cooking from his shoulders. It's a high of 51 today in the Atlanta area, so I'm excited to make these soups! Perfect season for them! 😁

Okay girl, I am going through so much paper printing out your recipes! LOL! But seriously, I cannot wait to try the Creamy Chicken Stew. However, I am torn between pouring it over biscuits or over mashed potatoes. I guess I'll have to make a large enough batch so I can do one way one night and the other another night when eating the leftovers! I can tell you that beef stew over mashed potatoes is absolutely incredible! Thanks again for all you do.
