you know that bar before the 'master of the house'? yeah, we look at our conductor and he's smiling because he knows we LOVE this section, and then the tubas come in with their awesome pickup and we're off to another world lol
Love those kind of songs that have a "big moment" in them. Like at 3:41. When u play this piece, u can feel the musical feeling inside u which makes the song really nice!
this song was going to be a part of my first highschool concert till people decided they were too good for practicing and didnt !! it was super frustrating to find out that this piece was getting swapped for a disney song thing. it's fun, yes, and the alto sax solo in the other one is a lot longer than the one here, but UGHHH this piece is LEGENDARY it has me obsessed !
Our High School concert band is playing Warren Barker's arrangement as well. It's gotta be said, Mr. Barker's arrangement is one of the best for concert band.
Really liked the balance of the band, you can tell they're really good Despite some errors in notes or rhythms, I think they did quite well. You can't deny that it's a difficult song to pull off. and they pulled it off with a lot of emotion and skill too!
*sigh* this is such a beautiful piece :) (how on earth so you undo a dislike? Cuz I accidentally pressed disliked when I wanted to press like a million times)
'On my own' used to be my least favorite part. But now I think its my favourite part. Just hearing the flutes play melancholic and then the rest of the winds join in 👌. At least the band arrangement cause 'Do You Hear the People Singing' has the righto everyone join in as we sing this anthem vibe
im a 10th grader in an 11th grade music class (mistake) and we just started to play this. the timing for on my own always screws me up its so slow in comparison to master of the house :P go third clarinet!
"silver" trumpets you could say, are usually above standard trumpets. But it depends, some are really good, but mostly are school standard. Which are usually used or not proffesional
Your "trumpet" doesn't sound like those in the recording because you as a player just aren't there tone wise. While yes higher level instruments will help to produce a nicer sound, overall the quality of one's sound is based off of where one is as an instrumentalist.

🤩

@@whalien_translations I played this piece this summer with many from my county! It was so much fun and I miss it very much. No problem.
Love those kind of songs that have a "big moment" in them. Like at 3:41. When u play this piece, u can feel the musical feeling inside u which makes the song really nice!

Probably Freshman playing it in first band. So am I. Got that awesome French Horn solo! Love it!

Master of the house is hype AF
I too am a french horn player and this piece is just awesome.

The powerful last notes of "At the End of the Day"... Awesome
Yeah.. I'm a freshman. And my high school's concert band (freshman, sophomore, junior, and senior band) had our concert Thursday night.

정말 멋진곡입니다..
i like it in this key
just finished my freshman year playing this piece, 1st chair trumpet.
Playing the Horn solo for this. I promise I'm gonna cry at the concert next Friday.
I already played this for our music festival. It was easily my favorite piece in the whole bunch of songs we played: )

Very good! We are playing this summer in community
Played this on tuba sophomore year it was amazing
Our High School concert band is playing Warren Barker's arrangement as well. It's gotta be said, Mr. Barker's arrangement is one of the best for concert band.
Played this on Trombone. Definitely a fun piece! :)
I'm doing this song for All county band this year on second trombone. Its a really fun piece.
Yeah I had fun playin it
awesome!
Like the Tuba part in this. Playing this in a few days.
Great piece to play. I have second part but still as good as first!
The trumpet solo is good! :)
that flute solo
00:30~1:45
4:39~5:16
5:41~9:19
We are getting this song today I think:)
Really liked the balance of the band, you can tell they're really good
Despite some errors in notes or rhythms, I think they did quite well. You can't deny that it's a difficult song to pull off. and they pulled it off with a lot of emotion and skill too!
We just got this today and literally all of the woodwinds squealed!
Second clarinets represent!
Some people are harsh critics :), now of course, maybe some tempos for off, this is still awesome, so I liked it
Wow. Just WOW. We're playing this in my school wind band (I play tuba) and we're almost as good as this...
4:36 i love this part😂
We're playing this and I love it! Though I hate some of the rhythms.
I'm playing 1st trumpet on this and I'm REALLY nervous for the solo's
At 6:20 is the best i believe, but im biased
*sigh* this is such a beautiful piece :) (how on earth so you undo a dislike? Cuz I accidentally pressed disliked when I wanted to press like a million times)
Maybe because those people are getting an ad in the middle of the piece like I do... I was really shocked when the lovely music got interrupted.
were playing this in band and were almost as good as this :D
Master of the house is like almost half speed in this recording 😂
'On my own' used to be my least favorite part. But now I think its my favourite part. Just hearing the flutes play melancholic and then the rest of the winds join in 👌. At least the band arrangement cause 'Do You Hear the People Singing' has the righto everyone join in as we sing this anthem vibe
Im in 8th grade and we are playing this for our Spring Concert.
im a 10th grader in an 11th grade music class (mistake) and we just started to play this. the timing for on my own always screws me up its so slow in comparison to master of the house :P go third clarinet!
Play 1st Trumpet in this- brilliant piece
"silver" trumpets you could say, are usually above standard trumpets. But it depends, some are really good, but mostly are school standard. Which are usually used or not proffesional
no. South Central District in North Carolina
9:19
the speed for master of the house is too slow. But, this is still really good
anyone else play these songs in high school , a stoner but some how managed to keep first chair and now listen to these songs high ??
We played a different arrangement but it was still cool :-)
Is the "freshman" supposed to mean something?
is there anyone here who has a pdf copy of the music sheet of this music??
What instrument
what is the song at 5.00
Master of the house
The ending is slow. However, the score notates "ritard" from the second to last to the last measure, so it is supposed to be played slower.
3:03 2:01
wrong note from the clarinet at 3:52
i heard a couple of wrong notes but very well played.
who talking bout MUSD honor band?
7th grade clarinet wish me luck we're playing this for band
The trumpet solo is actually really easy
+ThatOneKidRafa but is only truley good if you have the emotion behind it.
+Matt Haley very true
you arent talking about MUSD honor band are you?
They're REALLY out of tune at several parts. And the French Horn needs to play out during that solo! Please! Give us a good name!
omg, this is too slow... That aside, my fav part is the Finale! Bar 206 onwards! :)
Your "trumpet" doesn't sound like those in the recording because you as a player just aren't there tone wise. While yes higher level instruments will help to produce a nicer sound, overall the quality of one's sound is based off of where one is as an instrumentalist.
Why doesn't my trumpet sound like that? I need a gold trumpet ^.^
Yo it’s been eight years r u still playing trumpet
I much prefer the Jay Bocook band arrangement of Les Miz.
and ima freshman

This whole thing is slow...
