I fish Firetiger crankbaits while Bass fishing and I love this fly...a materials list and where to purchase please...EXCELLANTY JOB love your videos....
Firetiger is an awesome attractor color. I've tied a couple of minnow body tubing flies with Everglow tubing (Cascade Crest) both weighted and not. Mainly for spinning. But Storm's Hot N Tot lures in Firetiger is devastating on Pacific Salmon in Great Lakes and their tributaries. That color combo works for a lot of species. I don't know what that wobbler is, fly or hard bait, but I can attest to the color. Thanks, those Blobs look awesome.
Pretty pattern Coastfly. No b telling how many times I have been forming a similar pattern like this and fried my fingers with that UV resin. Some might know this but that stuff gets extremely hot. In fact when using certain foils or tensiles the resin can actually curl the material. Something to remember.
I learned a lot in this video about distributing resin before curing it. The bodkin with the bent tip that you use seems to work very well in the distribution. What brand is it?
Hi. I have watched both of your Blob pattern videos and I know you uso the Pro Sportfisher Gammarus shells, but I am wondering what size to buy, and do you use the same size for both the size #4 and #6 hooks? I love the videos and I have been a long time subscriber to your channel. I look forward to hearing from you.
These two "Blob" fly patterns, that are just a tiny bit different, are absolutely awesome !! What type of UV resin do you use ? The reason I ask, is that some UV stuff is cheap & remains "sticky" even after cured with the UV torch. I am in need of some good UV resin at my tying desk. Plus the "skin" ( where do you get that ? ) that goes over the top truly adds to the final appearance. Once I have a chance to get my hands on some of these materials, I will get going on adding these to my arsenal. I have a good feeling that Bluegill & many other fish species in Michigan will crush this fly. Lastly, how is the durability of these flies ? Thanks, David Fisher-of-Men Fly Tying Ada, Michigan
The flies are super durable. The rubberlegs might break at some point. When they dry out. Kinda like a rubberband. It might be your uv lamp that is the problem. The ones with AA batteries just don’t have enough power.
Very intrigued with your patterns in general, but especially your UV flies. You're a master for sure. Thanks so much for sharing.
Thank you for your kind words! ☺️
Amazing fly and skilfully tied. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks for watching! ☺️
Love this... Can I have a material list and brands for making this.
Love watching you innovate. Thank you as always, brother! Cool looking fly 😎
Thank you so much!

Firetiger FTW!
What are tubing flies?

The solarez doesn’t get that hot but yes I’ve had resins that get super hot!
Great fly, looks like it would be good for anything both fresh and salt water.
Pretty much! 😅

It’s a c&f design dubbing needle/brush. 😊
Nice video, thanks. Where do you get, and what brand is that fluorescent resin, please?
Solarez thick. 👍🏻

Yeah depending on the hook it might vary a bit.
What hook did you use???
🤣😜
🙂↕️😂
what type UV RESEN DO YOU USE BECAUSE I SEE THEY HAVE A THICK AND A THIN TYPE I WOULD GUESS THE THICKER WHOULD BE EASER TO WORK WITH. LOOKS GOOD
Always thick. 🙏🏻

Thanks for the info !! Where was the "skin" from ( manufacturer ) that goes over the top ?
Thanks,
David
What is shell you put on called ?
A gammarus shell. 😊
You could put the materials list in where you post your links...
People would still ask for it even if I put it in there. They even ask about the hook when I say the size and model like 2 mins in. 😅
