E nesse processo de expansão, elas passaram por eventuais "metamorfoses"foram ganhando outras, roupagens, ou seja, incorporando-se a outras culturas, bem como ao conjunto de culturas que fazem a cultura de determinado lugar. Músicas antilhanas, zouk e seus subgêneros... Podem ser dançadas com kizomba e tarraxinha. Inclusive, kizomba e tarraxinha podem ser somemente Uma dependendo da música. É tudo uma questão de sentí-la, de entregar à ela, ao rítmo, à melódia. Quando conheci a dança Kompa, o que me veio à mente foi: Isto é tarraxinha! Depois de ver mais alguns vídeos pensei é kizomba (dança)! Para mim, Kompa é tarraxinha. Mais do que isso a Tarraxinha do Haiti. Até porque o Google confirma que há influência da °Kizomba no surgimento da Kompa.
