This assures me that Slot sees any problems we have and is working to fix them. I am so happy Slot is my manager . FSG deserves credit for his appointment
Nunez work rate is crazy. I love how Arne always open to manipulate the tactics to change the team approach to every match. Can't wait to see how he'll do against Pep.
I've been saying that Mac Allister needs to play as closer to the box too. I doubt Slot will do it because it's a major change to make mid-season, but I completely agree with it. Jones and Szoboszlai can fight it out for the 8.
I feel we do good in terms of results, reacting to tactical problems, finding solutions, managing game-time, efficiency and seeing off the games. We also control for the large parts but for the last 3-4 games it looks if we’re struggling to get the games done in 70th minute. Got to watch that against City, Real and Arsenal.
You can’t blame Slot for that..the players need to finish the chances we create…but what is refreshing is that we also don’t panicking we are leading and seems like we can see out a game now.
I noticed in this game how calm and composed this team is. Multiple times when playing out the back Virgil will have the ball literally walk it up like he was on casual stroll. When rb pressed we would calmly break the press with beautiful one touch passing and get the ball in dangerous positions. If we start getting some more goals I think we can win some trophies. I think we have best defense in Europe right now just gotta tighten some things up in the final 3rd
I'm also on the same opinion that Alexis should play in a more advanced role. With the ball his passes and shots are capable of causing real threats to the opponents, but off the ball when playing as a no.10 I would leave that to the experts to analyse, hehe
Arne Slot is a football brain 🧠… he’s a tactical genius… I’m seeing massive improvement in his clever tweaks. The boys are looking well drilled and theres a real togetherness about them….
The difference between Klopp's teams and Slot's are how flexible and adaptable they are. Klopp generally played one way. Batter teams into submission while Slot puts out a different style of play for every opponent.
We learned that Szoboslai is not good enough for Liverpool, he should be nowhere near the first team, let alone start games. I really hope we get rid of him soon
I feel like Gravenberch has not fulfilled his full potential in that no.6 role, I don't see him being the first collector for most of the game he is static and he doesn't collect the ball from the keeper and the defense, he should try and do more of that

What part of a double pivot don't you understand gravenberch and maca can both be the 6 and 8, it just matters on who can start the attack better which gravenberch has been quality doing that, macca has a higher role of covering the defense and also disrupting opposition defense lines with passes that szoboslai can't execute and if you truly watch Liverpool matches all our passes from the goalie starts with the 2 cb and wing backs unless under pressure the ball head to the 9 or 10 or 6, watch Liverpool ball and stop whining. Gravenberch helps us even in ways we don't see, only the positional play screams terror during play because he opens spaces for szobo or Jones to move and maca can switch or link up with the wingers while the 10 roles holds deeply with jota or Nunez!
