I'd say the empty truck weighs roughly 15 tons. not really sure about the trailer though, maybe 7 tons? So somewhere around 23 tons for the truck and trailer empty, possibly as much as 27 tons seeing as the total weight this combination can legally weigh is 60 tons IIRC and they only brought 33 tons of gravel. (Then again they might've only ordered 33 tons..)

What a wacky looking trailer. But never have i seen an option to lock the turntable. Would like to see how they put it together. Probably a much sturdier lock than what a regular dolly would have on the turntable since this clearly is a full trailer. And the axle placement is very unusual and looks by no means practical with the long towbar other than the ability to unload the truck without detaching the trailer...
I have never seen those "trio släp" trailers in Finland, wondering why? Almost all gravel trailers in here is transfer dump (kassettvagnar) combination or semitrailers. I think that triosläp is pretty nimble, and also easy to back up when you lock the turntable.
It's likely only used when they know it'll be a tight fit and anything longer would complicate things too much. Rather have an undersized trailer than no trailer at all.
