Always loved how Carl Anderson perform this song. He starts out freaking out about what he just did. Then as he's singing "I don't know how to love him" he shows that even though he didn't see Jesus as the son of god, he still cared for him. And finally when he relizes that he's been part of God's plan he just about loses it and end with his death. This, the 2012 version, and the 2018 concert are my all time favorite take of this song.
I heard an radio interview with Andrew Lloyd Webber, where he said that like most movies back then and some even today, multiple scenes would be shot out of continuity order on the same day. To Webber's recollection, Carl Anderson and the crew shot both sequences for "Heaven On Their Minds" and "Judas's Death", within hours of each other from morning until later afternoon. Amazing.
@@ethanj8131 Wish I could. It was about 10 years ago and I believe based off of the local/regional station. Not NPR I don't think either. If you Google ALW's name and radio interviews I'm sure tons of them will come up.
Awesome performance! Unfortunately when he hangs himself, you can see that the rope is hanging from his back (not around his neck) as his body twists and turns. Maybe I’m nitpicking here, but I wish they fixed that in editing.
@@pompom6675 I’m not complaining about it. It was very well done. I’m just saying that the ‘character’ Judas, dies. And the fact that that Carl Anderson appears in at the end out of costume after that doesn’t change that.
Why does this Father of Jesus have no pitty on Judas suffering. He is alone in his desparation and does not know where to put his attention tol... God is bizzar.
The only problem a hear in this song is the mention of Muhammed a false prophet who came 500 years after Jesus Chris it has no business in this film and this song that along ruin the good performance of Carl Anderson
Okay, but yeah, the soldies are walking around with automatic guns and modern clothes, so I guess there are some aspects to modernise it to a bigger or more modern group of viewers
Anderson should have won an Academy Award....at least be nominated.

この曲が好きすぎて、サントラのレコードが擦り切れるまで聴きました!!一番の推しは、ジーザスでもユダでもなく、アンナスでした!笑
Oh, so this is where Captain Jack Sparrow learned how to run
I'd save him if i could ..

Would you happen to remember who did this radio interview with Andrew Lloyd Webber?

Well, Judas! So much for the money 💰 you were paid 😒.

He turns out to be alive in the end and take on the bus.
@@pompom6675 Well, at the end, the actors are out of character looking at the cross as they get on the bus. So, it’s not as you’re implying.
@@charlescoleman5509 ok, of course you know better how this movie should have been filmed

Большая ответственность и мужество - сыграть Иуду.

For one, don't take this musical as canon.
The only bizarre things here is your typing and the fact you're taking a movie from 50 years ago as literal
@@meme_aids I do Not Like you.
@@Hypogean7 I can feel His suffering, because he Loved Jesus.
Judas was always evil. He held the purse for widows and orphans but actually was stealing from it.
❤️🎶🌺
Judas gets a bad rap
Pauper Iudas
Judas and Jesus were two sides of the same coin.
There had to be a Judas…
I dont understand why it was in song
Because this is from a rock opera. Everything is done in song. It's a great movie and show.
It’s great in general Carl Anderson solos
Because- it's an opera.......
The entire film is in song
Se lo merecia por traicionar a un maestro
