I thought being an Overwatch partner requires a lot of background check and you need to tick several boxes to become one if only you made content creators and pro players (so people with actual reputation and knowledge) overwatch partners you would go a long way
@@hunatya3183 Not in csgo. I think you only needed to be gold nova or have a service badge or something. The problem with making content creators or pros to have access is they would not be enough to review the hundreds of thousand of cases. The other thing is there needs to be an incentive to review the cases (for pros at least) because why would they do that when they should be training or doing other things that would better suit their time.
While I don't deny that it wouldn't solve the cheating problem entirely (that's impossible), I strongly believe that software-based approach to combat cheating is dead in the water. All game, every game has proven that over the years, developers just can't do it. I think all legit players who get frustrated by cheaters would be thrilled if they were ensured that they themselves can personally contribute to getting them banned. Counter Strike has like 1 million daily active users, if you only find 50-100 trustworthy, experienced veteran players with thousands of hours, no VAC bans on record, have been playing on the same account for years, and have a very high ranking, and who play for hours and hours every day, willing to take the time to review Overwatch cases for only 1 or 2 hours out of their playtime, in exchange for either special ingame badge, special skins, stickers, cases or community recognition (just throwing around ideas) for every correct and successful ban they sort out, you would not only reduce the number of cheaters down to straight atoms, but you would also save that 10-20-30 or god knows how many millions of dollars that studios spend on anticheat development. And unlike anti-cheat development, rewarding your players with ingame cosmetics would not cost valve almost anything. The only upside software-based approach would have over manual banning is that softwares can (in the most ideal case) detect the cheat and intervene before the suspect would use it, and cause harm to legit players, while manual banning can only come into play after the cheater committed his act and made legit players their victims. But again, the negative feeling of being cheated on can be compensated by letting the victims know that their reports had been observed and the cheater has been banned. If cheaters learn that they are getting banned, no matter their software, they will have to stop going blatant, which as we can see, is very very difficult for the trained eyes. And even if the cheater does manage to hide his cheat so efficiently, that no Overwatch detective would be able to 100% confirm it, you are essentially almost facing a legit player, which means you have a chance to defeat him by skill. Imo this is the best you can get. I know it's already lengthy, just wanna add 2 more things to make my opinion fully comprehensive: 1. don't let the cheater know that they are banned, because that would trigger psychological reactence, which increases their motivation to cheat again, so just make them unable to find matches by eternal match-searching, or generic "lost connection, try again later" message, that every player receives occasionally. 2. Making a new steam account is way too easy, and the game is free, which makes it so the cheaters risk nothing by cheating and nothing stops them from coming back. Create barrier to entry by making it harder to either create a steam account (like phone number or anything that somehow limits how many accounts one player can create), or put a price tag on Counter Strike (I'd say ~20-40$) so the cheater actually has something to lose. Do these (prioritization of manual banning, avoid letting cheaters know they were caught, and create barrier to entry) and I guarantee you not only reduced the cheating to negligible levels, but saved millions of dollars in the process.

Just coping loser.
They alredy know for a fact that he's cheating, if those kills were the first thing they saw they wouldn't act like that.
But they alredy know he's cheating and are just making fun of him.
Also it is pretty sus, but you only have 100 hours so you js don't have the expirience to know that legit players do not act like that
Is he already banned? you cant do anything on his profile.
You went easy with Neok's nose
In faceit i play 2 game VS cheater and he make only 4 mistakes😢... In 2500elo Cheater hide and is really hard to make video like this😢
I am from germany and I can tell you so many german players are pathetic. I tried 2 german discord Communities and it is at least 2 cheaters every stack you join.
