Watched over on Rumble- A great lot, solid spread, almost all the main types are covered here and very agreeable value too. Even the P1s are getting scarce these days
But why would Germany have exported these to the UK, only for the UK to turn around and export them here? These wouldn't have been used for any police or military service in the UK...
@@miketucker2817 Sadly I have no idea why apart from. Handguns are banned in the UK so if these were bought by a dealer/company before the ban in 1997 then these were stored and forgotten about. To be shipped to the US they needed to be proofed hence the stamps. As he said these were exclusive to him.
Have owned several P-38 and some of the modern P-1. Kept one P-1 new in the sealed bag in the box with access. Then I sold it. Ugh. I remember going to an antiques flea market and some guy had two vet bringbacks for 200$ each. But I had no money. They are pretty cool and everyone said the DA trigger pull was awful but to me it seemed same as alot of modern DA SA 9MM, good enough.
"Don't look Marion!" Always my favorite part that never gets old. Thanks for the review as always.
Its funny how in Europe we are not allowed to own (in most countries) a P38 or a handgun like that but our politicians are happy to export them.
I remember what Denis Prager asked, "Would the holocaust have happened had every Jew had had a gun?" I think not.
Or a certain flag for that matter
Money
Nope, we’re aloud to own a P38 here in France
Same here in Brazil. Our military surplus are all exported and we cannot have them.

Not really scarce at all
Beautiful! Thanks
Holey Moley....never seen this many P38's in one place ever, even during the Golden Age of Surplus decades ago, you are the King of surplus...😅
Norway
I couldnt see well on my phone, is it Denmark?
Wish they would reintroduce the P38
With modern production techniques most people wouldn't be able to afford them.
Beautiful guns, oh man i dont need to spend any more... 🤦♂️
Crown & BNP stamp references Birmingham UK its a proof mark with the tonage it was tested at, in this case 15 Tons per square inch...
Interesting.... 😂
What's the backstory with Nazi P38's being stamped by the British Crown?

@@Mike-tw1pi Exported or maybe captured 1945/46 and shipped to the UK this is a wild guess.
Santa - can I have one P38 to add to my growing collection?
Did anyone identify the country of origin?
I think it was Luxembourg. lol
BNP with crown means the gun was in the UK...
UK, probably England
Britain, Birmingham proof marks.
