Av got a hotpoint fridge freezer stoped working the fuse blow changed fuse but still not coming on av seen there’s a safety switch on back on others utube videos how can I find it tho as mine just like the one in this video help me please to sort it out
Thanks as your video is the nearest to describing my problem. My freezer is only a year old and it leaks. I keep it clean but every week I’m emptying the tray, checked for blockages and none. Mine has a pipe at the back going down into trough, is that correct?
Mine is also filling up quickly, has to empty it every 2-3 days which is not normal. I cannot see any condensation fan which is supposed to help evaporate that water. No ice in the freezer, nothing obvious. What could be the reason? Thank you.
Hi. I just watched this. We often have a little water puddle at the front of out hotpount ff200e. I have just cleaned the wire bit, but the tray at the end is totally dry. I can't find a hole in the bottom of the fridge to put a wire in and clear it out. Could it be a problem with the freezer drainage thing and, if so, where would I find that please? Really don't want to have to buy a new fridge freezer 😢
Are you sure it never used to happen before? I’m no expert, but I’ve seen in a few videos them say it is normal for water to leak through the drain hole. It is part of the normal fridge freeze-defrost cycle .
it's a condensation drip tray for the fridge, so if it's full empty it otherwise it can smell if old but normally it would evaporate if it keeps getting full you may have a door seal issue.
My freezer fridge keeps making a noise cyclotone something, knkcking banging, there was a fowl yellow brown fluic in tray at back i keep getting a gas type smell at back of throat, one night i woke up skating hot shivering heart racing, i dont knkw if its leaking from being banged about
@@DanielJohnHowTo just noticed spelling, sorry about that, are you are if it can effect skin. I have cuts scratches that sem to get infected easily. Also its been going on two weeks, i moved fridge into cubboard with ceiling fan its still cold and icing up. Im sat there and its like a loud single knock on the side when i moved it, it sound like a tube rattling around in there.
theres no way i can move that fridge either im disabled. drivingme nuts this leaking all over my lino because my lino is cracked from fridges beingtaken in and out by delivery

is the door seal at the front in good condition? it could be letting moisture in, worth taking a look and a clean then see how you go
How do I stop the filler thing from filling with water? I’m having to empty mine every week now for some reason. Never used to happen before

the valve on mine is leaking so much water that it’s nearly flooding the room, but there’s no tray to catch the water???
So, the black tray shouldn't have any water in it is that right?

is it supposed to smell gassy? it’s been smelling like gas but there’s no sign of freon leakage.. i’m pretty sure it’s the drip tray
could just be bacteria in the drip tray but if it's a strong smell then it's the compressor leaking or something else.

I think you have a refrigerant leak, sounds like it needs to be fixed/replaced.

spray soapy water on the area see if you get bubbles
That's not where the water is dripping from mine, it's dripping for the little copper pipe that goes up into the fridge.
