Not sure what is so revolutionary here, to be frank. This technology has been around for decades. The wheels operate using swerve drive--which is stupid simple--and something high schoolers use on robots in competitions like FRC. Still cool, nonetheless.
If spot was not a thing, well, yes, do spot is a thing, and this is the best they came up with, if the fisrt one was ment to be a scale model of a concept car or something okay, what was that second one all about? was it meant to be a wheel chair, for people who like living in small boxes on wheel or something?
I got a personal mobility device for free. They were gonna throw it out at the nursing home. It holds a charge for quite a while and I hooked a wagon to it to pull my son with me to the park at the end of our street.
The small wheel version might be good for package delivery but not to carry humans... Give me a city car like the second one...we need robotic parking garages, without prioritized software!!!
I keep thinking of BD as a defense company producing future killer bots, but are marketing them to us as cuddly little robo-buddies who do tricks for our oohs and awws... Until an Uzi is strapped to its chassis and linked to a human-targeting algorithm, though, we will still rigidly maintain a cloak of excuses for purposes of denial because by then unfiltered reality will be ter.rorism and truth will be fas.Cist talking points digested blindly.
It's more like Hyundai poor endeaver, trying hardly to make a name for themselves as an innovative brand in robotics and ending up having no idea what even they are doing.
I understand why you're saying this. I do. But also, you can hear her voice 100% crystal clear, so your excuse is somewhat odd. If you are upset with the indoor mask standard/mandate, then just say it.
cool got as far as I could through the vid before I would throw up from watching the non-humans in their masks! Showing off their innovation as they happily punish themselves
Может не всё практично, но приятно смотреть, что создают реально интересные вещи. Хотелось бы в России такие выставки

It’s true. Fat people and old people have been using these for decades
Its part of an agenda to sell people fossil fuel energy at a premium as electricity.
she has the personality of a module..... gotta love the excitement
For market research, they looked critically at the cart scene from Austin Powers :D
Such a quietly hilarious comment.
How is this better than the already existing and commonly used omniwheel?
Wow that's amazing. I am very excited when this personal mobility vehicle will launch.
Racing is the best way to develop
Wow truly exciting times.
They went from Atlas and Spot to this.
I would love to try this "Tin Can Chest" on our village roads!
wow! this is so amazing
Looks like Capsule Corp's Time Machine.
when will this tech come to cars??

This is nice!
this tech is already deployed in agv for long time. not sure to deploy it for human mobility. reminds me of that dystopian future of wall e
Давно пора было так сделать.
Aunque parece bueno , solo funciona en terrenos totalmente planos , no tiene suspensión..
Whose idea was it to have the narration? Lol
Bu Çalışma platformu gibi.
The Roujin Z !?
Modern tech, latest of the lastest show casing here BUT from a paper. LOLOLOL
if they can make the platform for under 10k $, that’s the revolutionary.
Personal mobility at the cost of A Ferrari.
Engineers create product to help people, then politicians step in and modify the product against the people..

I don't know about you, but I can walk... hihihi
🌹😀
Boston dynamics used to innovate and now look at what they are doing.
This is how prisoners will be kept in the USA.
If only the real world was a flat slab of concrete full of people willing to pay thousands for a motorized furniture dolly with a roof and a joystick
This is meant to be used for indoor facilities. Look at warehouses and such, you will find many autonomous robots similar to this one.

Revolutionary concepts, cringe stale corporate presentation
LOL!! do they even know what L7 even means? . this has made my say !
What do you think it means?
A band?
A square?
A violent gang in Britain?
@@RKroese I love the lack of response
It must be frustrating for Boston Dynamics guys to see the perception of their IP be watered down by the addition of Hyundai's mediocre tech.
L7 is a bad lawnmower
I hate it

Why do you have to mask the speaker?? It is hard to understand all what she said, this interesting demo was wasted!!
I understood perfectly fine.. no sure what you're talking about..
