the defender lo will always proc for the next hit after you take a certain amount of damage (idk how many damage but it procs way more than often enough for me), defender hi is random set chance (similar to divine blessings). i used to run lv4 defender lo with lv3 defender hi at the start of MR and it saved me from so many carts
i think the guys at Rage Gaming Videos made a vid about it. i think. i know Angbata11 made a vid too, but i don’t remember if he included it or not. edit. i do believe it does stack with the orange defender
after you get hit once, the second time you get hit the damage you receive from the attack will be reduced (note that it does not stop ultimate attacks from one shotting you)
Super Recovery 4, Moxie 3, and Booster 1 is my go to for Elemental HBG. Keeps Dereliction bleed more manageable and unlikely to go below Moxie passively and then you just shred. Evade Extender 2 is enough to keep you safe since you can fire from a fair distance away, rare good use of level 4 deco. Yeah no miss me with HBG Shieldless Spreads in Rise. Loved it in IB back when that was damage king at least but now it's just like what's the point?
Nice to see some math/stats. I run defender hi lvl4 weakener lvl3 and tempered lvl1 and I've been pretty happy. Sometimes I get very unlucky... but typically I can take 4 hits before dying and that's pretty hard to die with other healing being applied
Hi, I'm surprised you don't have a dango set with Moxie in it when only recently in your "Early MR Progression Tips", you kept saying that gunners should always eat for Moxie. But I get it, you don't like Lv. 1 Moxie because it leaves too much to chance (50 : 50 chance) and Lv. 3/4 is just unnecessary with the minuscule 20/40 HP heal, where the Lv. 3/4 slot is better filled with other better food skills. So, Moxie is stuck in an awkward position with nowhere to justifiably slot it in.
Quick question: for RF P2, would you consider dropping critical firepower and silencer for Long barrel and one sniper (to counteract temper deviation)? Or just stick to CritFire with silencer and feet/marksman? Greets

Don't need steadiness. What you want is super recovery 4, temper 3 and marksman 1. The meta builds for ele LBG are dereliction + bloodlust. You really need super recovery 4 to manage the hp drain.
He has it in his dango loadout for bow, but I always thought it doesn't. It says ammo, and bows don't have deviation so it would be weird... Besides, Cons 2 or 3, with Fighter 4, marksman 3 and booster 1 is still the best hopping skewer combo anyway
Hopping Skewers that you unlock at the beginning of Sunbreak. When you use them, the first dango becomes level 4, the second one becomes level 3, and the third one becomes level 1.

Marksman work with ceiling 150
Marksman 1 -> multiplier 1.05 random ceiling 30
Marksman 2 -> multiplier 1.1 random ceiling 30
Marksman 3 -> multiplier 1.05 random ceiling 90
Marksman 4 -> multiplier 1.1 random ceiling 60
In short:
Marksman 1 -> multiplier 1.05 with 20% chance
Marksman 2 -> multiplier 1.1 with 20% chance
Marksman 3 -> multiplier 1.05 with 60% chance
Marksman 4 -> multiplier 1.1 with 40% chance
Effectively 1%, 2%, 3%, 4%

If your build has con4, eating dongo fighter 2 is enough to hit the passive stamina reduction limit (0.6 * 0.8 =0.48

Temper and Marksman don’t affect slicing. Just eat for booster (and heroics if you’re doing those types of runs) and whatever qol skills you want.

If you’re on switch you press the (-)menu button on your controller. It’ll tell you which button to press right under the “use Dango ticket”
